Trusted teacher: Courses and Training: Graduated in Musicology, my specialization in Singing at the IMEP (Conservatory of Namur) and in accompanying music on the accordion led me after my studies to give singing lessons in a music school (Cap sur le Music in Kraainem), as well as musical awakening in different schools, via Les Jeunesses Musicales. Being also an ethnomusicologist, I like to work with repertoires from other horizons, both singing and accordion. Currently working part-time at Outhere Music (production and distribution house of classical and jazz music), I have the chance to discover on a daily basis a large quantity of various repertoires, likely here to be the subject of discoveries for the student, depending on their different future artistic aspirations. Passionate about CVT (complete vocal technique) since 2021 and trained in postural and psycho-behavioural muscle chains (GDS method), my goal is to get the student to explore his vocal universe as broadly as possible, while increasing his body awareness with each lesson. Approach & repertoire: I attach great importance to body awareness, presence and movement, as well as the overall well-being of the student. Having also followed a training in Mindfulness, I like to mix a therapeutic approach with the artistic work accomplished with the student. Starting from the student's musical desires and aspirations is also essential for me. I therefore aim for personalized support that respects its own achievement objectives. My methodology aims at learning the technique through play and body movement, both for singing lessons and musical awakening. No prerequisite in music is necessary (neither music theory nor other). Musical Awakening for children (individual or semi-collective – from 1 to 6-7 years old): With young children, I try to multiply awakening approaches using senses other than just hearing, both by learning gesture songs and rhythmic activities. The activities of dance or development of the ear by listening are of course omnipresent. I work on psychomotricity and seek to discover new instruments, as well as the different repertoires which are connected to them. I work on several levels (passive and active) and different scales of difficulty according to ages and possible interactions in small groups, in order to anchor learning and awakening over time. Breath work is also on the program.

Trusted teacher: I dedicate over 20 years of experience as a singing teacher and vocal coach to helping you achieve your goals. Since 2005, I've been constantly exploring the voice and its mysteries to best support each individual in their uniqueness. From scientifically supported vocal techniques (speaking voice and/or singing voice) to various artistic and creative aspects, including your vital energy and your vocal health, together we open up the range of possibilities to free your light, your inner strength, your vocal imprint. SINGING VOICE: Whether you want to sing for pleasure or to develop your technique professionally, I will guide you with enthusiasm and kindness towards achieving your vocal aspirations, adapting to your goals and moving towards what really moves you forward. Knowledge about the voice and how it works has evolved over the years. Today, everything is accessible to anyone who wants to work on their voice using a variety of simple, fun, and effective techniques. My tools to guide you: - CVT (Complete Vocal Technique - DK) - SLS (Speech Level Singing - USA) - Lax Vox Therapy - SOVT Exercises (Semi Occluded Vocal Tract) - 25 years of professional experience We can or will work on: - The musical style of your choice: pop, rock, jazz, folk, country, gospel, mantras, musical comedy, rnb, rap, metal, French song, ... You choose which songs you want to move on. - The essential pillars for healthy and optimal use of the voice: support, adequate breathing, twang, jaw relaxation. - Vocal modes: Neutral, Overdrive, Curbing, Edge or more commonly: head voice, mixed voice, chest voice. - Sound colors: dark vs. light - Resonances, use of resonators - Effects: distortion, grunt, growl, rattle, creaking, audible breath, vocal breaks, screams, vibrato, ornamentations, etc. - Interpretation, reinterpretation - Improvisation, intuitive singing - The harmonies - Help with English pronunciation - Use and management of the microphone - recordings - casting and auditions preparation SPEAKING VOICE: Your voice, your way of communicating, your profession, your charisma, your message. You are a coach, entrepreneur, actor, teacher, speaker, lawyer, sports coach, or looking for your vocal identity (feminization, timbre, power, impact, etc.). Vocal technique will help you manage, modulate, love, and carry your voice and your message in a healthy and sustainable way on a daily basis and when speaking in public. No more trembling, cracking, tiring voices. No more not being heard and straining your voice. No more losing your voice... To guide you towards optimizing your voice, I will use the same tools as those presented in the singing voice coaching description, adapting of course to your vocal wishes and needs. The "permanent" modification of your spontaneous and natural speaking voice (so not just the one that is temporarily activated during controlled speaking) is entirely possible but requires daily investment and patience. I will guide you towards your true desired voice with all kindness. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you in your development, your performance and your vocal health. Meet even more great teachers. Try online lessons with the following real-time online teachers:
Trusted teacher: The course that I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, as well as 2 BOOKS. Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress. Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward. The kind of music you love most will be the focus of the course, their codes and secrets will be the focus of our study, that's what I want to share with you. We can do technical lessons and simply learn together how to play one or more songs of your choice or mine, enrich your game with this approach and your repertoire! (For example, We can re-arrange the pieces and make them more original by approaching the system (CAGED), and enriching their chords, resulting in new positions, new techniques and new sounds, using arpeggio techniques rather than strumming for 4-chord pieces, voicing and fingerstyle techniques, in short, expanding the instrument's playing fields and playing skills to keep progressing in your game and improve your rehearsals ...) If you make a request, this program is obviously accompanied by the pleasure of learning more in theory and being able to directly apply new knowledge on its instrument and identify its common or rare use in the pieces discussed in class. In this case, the theory is translated to be accessible to anyone, both for those who are connoisseurs and for those who discover everything from absolute zero. The exercises, songs, and theoretical explanations offered throughout the program are organized in an order of progressive difficulty. I wrote and produced 2 books of my method to learn the guitar and the music, that I sell to accompany my course and your apprenticeship in the best conditions and so that you can continue the course even at home and to review etc ... . There is ONE BOOK OF COURSES containing all the theoretical and practical program of the year, as well as a BOOK OF EXERCISE on the ranges and the modes that you can obtain directly. You can find here an indicative list of objectives that I propose in my theoretical program, which can of course adapt to your request. Lou-Indigo

Lou-Indigo is hands-down the best teacher I have ever had the pleasure of learning music from. Having been taught by a number of music teachers for a variety of different instruments, I have experienced a range of different teaching styles and personalities, yet nobody has been able to keep me focused and captivated by music in the way that Lou-Indigo does. In the past, music lessons would always bore me, as I found that my perspective of music being an outlet of creativity would often be tarnished by previous teachers who took too much of a strict, structural approach to music. On the other hand, some other teachers would be too relaxed, often leading to me becoming frustrated by a lack of progress and direction. Lou-Indigo manages to skillfully combine structure, creativity and a relaxed atmosphere into a 60-minute lesson. I am the complete opposite of bored and genuinely look forward to every lesson. Instead of feeling drained after sessions, I feel inspired to learn more. In my opinion, Lou-Indigo does this by crafting just the right amount of challenge into each exercise, enough to give you a sense of progress and achievement, but not too much to make you feel frustrated or overly daunted. Furthermore, his clear explanation of music theory and guitar techniques, evidently backed by years of experience, gives you a deeper insight into music, uncovering the medium's potential for creative expression. I could not recommend Lou-Indigo more.

Giorgia

I started my lessons with Giorgia four months ago, and I am so glad to have found her. As a 26-year-old beginner, I was not sure if I should even try to pursue learning an instrument at this point. But now I am so glad I did! I am learning online, and I was a little unsure of how lessons via webcam would go. Despite my prejudice, everything turned out great, even though my setup is quite basic. Her approach to teaching is very creative. She is able to explain things that seem hard to put into words, and she always finds comparisons and descriptions that convey clearly little details of approach that make a lot of difference in the end result. For any difficulty I encountered, she presented methods of exercise that helped correct it. Another thing that I appreciate is that from one lesson to the next, the volume of work is challenging enough that I feel I am making progress, but not to the point that I am overwhelmed. Also, even though I am just beginning and the pieces are not that complex, she explains the musical interpretation in a way that not only helps me advance my skill but also enriches the way I understand and listen to music, and I find great value in that. Her manner of teaching is very organic, and she is a patient teacher with a warm presence. I wholeheartedly recommend her lessons!

Adam has been giving piano lessons to my 4 year old son, introducing him to musical theory and the piano with fun and games, which have made it very enjoyable and interactive for him. I can see my son's interest in the piano growing and he looks forward to his lesson with Adam. I can recommed Adam to anyone wishing to find a good piano teacher for their children.
