Trusted teacher: — ENGLISH — Have you ever dreamed of creating enchanting and magical melodies? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to master the art of the harp and immerse yourself in the wonderful world of music? Perhaps you are a curious beginner looking to explore the magic of the harp, or maybe you are an experienced musician eager to enhance your musical skills? Regardless of your level, my harp and music lessons are designed for you. I am a passionate teacher with over 10 years of experience in teaching the harp, music theory, and music education at various levels, from children to adults. I love creating a positive learning atmosphere, allowing the student to feel comfortable and motivated, whether they are a beginner or an advanced musician. Each student will have their own customized study method to progress at their own pace, and I listen carefully to every request to nurture their natural attitude for learning. I pay special attention to the student's preferences in terms of repertoire and goals, even arranging some musical scores that may not have been initially intended for the harp. These lessons are suitable for both amateurs and professional musicians, whether they are young or adults. You don't need to know how to read music (music notation and music theory) or have played an instrument before to learn how to play the harp. My method is organized so that theory is learned through practice. You will quickly discover that the harp, contrary to what one might think, is a very easy instrument to play! How about playing a wide range of musical styles, from classical to Celtic music, and even contemporary compositions? What kind of music inspires you the most? Mary has been great in our interactions. At the moment, we are meeting twice a week for an hour each session. She started with a class in which we got to know each other and she listen to my goals. Then, she prepared exercises and lessons specially designed to help me reach those goals with practice and also prepared lessons to help me continue growing as a guitar player. Moreover, she goes often out of her way to get songs challenging to my level, but that are doable with enough practice. In all, I am enjoying quite a lot of our classes and I am always looking forward to them.

Marloes does an excellent job of understanding the student's needs and goals. Always attentive during the lessons, she provides clear/targeted feedback on areas of improvement and actively listens to your singing. Most importantly, she creates a comfortable/safe environment to experiment with your voice. As a beginner in singing, I highly recommend anyone who wants to get started singing to take lessons with her!

I enjoyed my first lessons. It was both very practical since I learned a lot about the technical aspect of playing an instrument (hand positioning, body posture, etc.) and about the history of harp. The teacher also gave me advice regarding buying my own harp. She was very attentive and paid attention to my every movement, to make sure that I played it all correctly. I am looking forward to having more lessons
