Trusted teacher: Hi students and music lovers ! Piano is a fun and rewarding way to explore music for people of all ages, whether you've played music before or not, and is one of the most accessible instruments right from the first lesson! I teach with a variety of pop-transcriptions and easy Classical pieces, simple improvisation and harmony exercises, and am comfortable adapting to each pupils own way of learning. If you're new to piano, or have played before and want to rekindle your love of music, get in touch to arrange a first lesson! I will book us a room with a grand piano at the Academy. I graduated Master’s cum laude in Piano Performance at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre studying with prof. Peep Lassmann, who was himself a student of the great Russian pianist Emil Gilels. I have 12 years' private teaching experience, and was employed by Märjamaa Music and Art School as a 1:1 piano teacher in 2018-19. I also have a BMus (Hons) degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and DipABRSM, the standard professional teaching qualification in the UK. Reviews from current students: "Jamie is an amazing teacher. I had no knowledge of piano before him and was worried in general of being able to learn. His way of explaining, patience and incredible passion for music gave me the push to try and are reinforcing my motivation to learn more day-by-day. Our classes are alive, fun, and so much like a continuous journey through all the aspects of piano music." - Angelyk "Jamie makes this comfortable atmosphere, you'll never be afraid to make a mistake. I learned a song already in my second/third lesson. 🙂 " - Taimi

Trusted teacher: I specialize in tutoring English and Spanish. Born in Germany, I now live and study in the UK which enabled me to further fine-tune and perfect my English language abilities. I have taught English to students in the past and am hoping to continue to do so. English does not have to be a chore and can be quite fun and intriguing. I personalize my lessons and offer my students additional resources to improve their English at home. Making music is creative - playing an instrument really isn't. I have played the acoustic guitar for 2 years now and am willing to pass on this skill to like-minded people. In my lessons, we will focus on chords and chord progressions so that you will be able to play and arrange any song you like. After that, you'll have the chance to fine-tune these skills by e.g. finger-picking or percussive slaps. This course is for beginners with little to no experience with the guitar.

I offer classes of guitar especially for beginners (the basic chords, rhythms, procedures, etc.), though I also might teach some more advanced techniques. The classes will be given in English, Spanish or Czech and we will focus on the genre of your interests. We can begin with the basic steps (chords, rhythm) and very soon proceed to learning how to play the songs of your choice. According to my teaching experience, you might be able (if you are motivated) to perform the first songs already in a couple of weeks.

Trusted teacher: We take the basic rules, we deal with theory and musical instruments, and practice the student's favorite songs. I always talk to the student to find out what his favorite directions are in music. In this way, we can identify the stories and styles we deal with together.

Trusted teacher: Playing an instrument is not just about pushing buttons or bowing. It is also about how you do it. You can not play a piece prefectly, unless you know it's highs and lows. To play a piece prefectly you need to know it theorically and historically. And I'm here to teach you how a piece should be done on a piano. If you are more interested in knowing a piece than to just playing it, I'm your guy.
