Trusted teacher: Hello, If the method is right, anyone can do it! It is with this spirit there that I give my cello lessons ... At the same time I live with the pleasure of seeing my students progress each week with this magnificent instrument! Have you been wanting to start the cello for a while, but hesitating? Do you dream of playing the prelude to the first Bach suite or the melodies you heard on the cello? or do you just want to enjoy the magnificent cello sound? Malaysian cellist, in France for 10 years, I know the French and Asian working method well and I love the exchanges between Asian music and European music. Graduated from DEM at the Paris Regional Conservatory, after spending 3 years at the Schola Cantorum, I am now preparing my performance diploma at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris, at the same time I am in the concert cycle at the Regional Conservatory of Paris in the orchestra preparation department. With my 8 years of experience, I give cello + music theory lessons to children, beginners adults or advanced amateurs. I adapt the working method according to the different situations of my students. I vary from the Suzuki method to Feuillard's studies and I also arrange pop or current music according to the student's preference. For beginners, I try to establish a very solid basic technique so that they can progress on their own but with great rigor. For advanced amateurs, I try to work more in musicality and see more work in different styles. I teach in French, English or Mandarin. I also give advice to beginners looking to rent / buy a cello Take advantage because I will soon increase the price as I have a lot of students right now :)

Dynamic, attentive and passionate, I love music more than anything, regardless of your style and level. Trusted teacher: While creating a repertoire, we will work the ear, rhythm, technique. I focus on practice, improvisation, and the relationship between you and your instrument in order to have fun on your bass. Okay, but what are we doing? The basics: - the silence - harmony (scales, chords, intervals) - rhythm (binary, ternary, swing, shuffle) - the sound (technique, nuance) - the coding of the English chords (A = la, E- = E minor, etc.) - the musical culture and the different ways of listening to music A choice: - improvisation (learning to play without partition, becoming able to play with anyone, anytime) - group music in general (the modern bass, the different roles of the instruments in a group) - jazz (standards, swing, notions of harmonies and improvisation) - rock, funk (notions of groove, rhythmic placement, search for sounds, pentatonic scales) - music games for children The instrument remains a tool to make music, so we will work to become a MUSICIAN (with the help of a bass guitar). Any age, any level (to be evaluated during the first class) I preferably receive at home, or at least near my home (Paris EST). Having a busy musical life moves are to be avoided as far as possible. Do not hesitate to contact me for further information! Additional Information: It is important for your teacher to match you musically (unless otherwise, if you want to fill in gaps, or discover a new genre). That's why I present myself in a few lines, so that you get an idea of the kind of bassist that I am: I started bass more than ten years ago, I first discovered the instrument alone (self-taught training). I later played in several Rock formations. Rock I was interested in Funk (style in which the bass plays a key role). I then became more and more interested in improvisation and therefore Jazz music. I took two years of classes at the Conservatoire du 9ème arrondissement in Paris before joining the IMEP (formerly American School of Modern Music). Currently, I play in several bands: a jazz / funk band and a jazz / rock band. My influences (in bulk): Jaco Pastorius, Weather Report Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, George Duke, Miles Davis, Funkadelic / Parliament, James Brown, Prince, George Benson, John Scofield, Hendrix, Zappa, Stanley Clarke, Al di meola, Paco de lucia, Bob marley, Marcus Miller, Kenny Garett, Bill Evans, Lettuce, Brecker Brothers, Return to Forever, Mahavishnu, Led Zep, Dire Straits, Rolling Stones, The Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Munir Hossn, Matthew Garrisson , Hadrien Feraud, Ron Carter, Linley Martha, Maceo Parker, Paul Chambers, Mike Stern, Bob Berg and many more!

Improve your speeches in public and in meetings / Brussels (Ixelles-Elsene)
Charlotte
Charlotte is a superb instructor. I took classes with her at her home for several months to improve my public speaking skills. During each session, Charlotte helped me work on my tone and delivery through various public speaking exercises. Charlotte asked me to prepare short written assignments before our meetings, so that I could practice delivering my script using various speaking techniques during the class. For these assignments, Charlotte was very engaged and made sure that the assignments would assist me in my specific professional goals. She did this by tailoring the subject matter to my professional work - mostly legal and political matters - and she pushed me to consider what I wanted to achieve from my audience with each speaking opportunity. Charlotte, however, is not only a skilled professional. She is also a tremendously kind, energetic and dynamic person to work with. She made me feel comfortable sharing my vulnerabilities, which made the process of receiving constructive feedback a fun and welcomed experience. She encouraged me to practice my public speaking in French - which is not my first language - and made me feel at ease. She is kind, understanding and an incredibly nice person. If you are looking for a professional who is dedicated to helping you improve, welcomes your goals and ideas, and who is a pleasure to meet with each week - then look no further than Charlotte.

Private violin lessons, Music Theory, Technical and Musical Skills (Clichy)
Ester
Ester was so thorough and patient for my first violin lesson ever! She showed me how to hold and care for the violin and the bow, taught me physical exercises to become accustomed to the movements required for playing, and started me on some basic playing drills. Highly recommend.
