As a singer, studying at the Conservatory, I provide singing lessons for all levels students: beginner, intermediate and advanced. I focus on vocal technique, good choice of the repertoire and interpretation. Learning singing and developping one's instrument requires regularity in the practice, the best option is thus to plan a lesson every week or every two weeks.
I hold an BMus in classical Music from Goldsmiths University, London, as well as a Post graduate Diploma in Vocal studies from the Royal Welsh College of Music, for which I was awarded the Geraint Evans vocal scolarship. I have been a professional opera singer for over 12 years, and have taught throughout London and the South East of England both privately and at specialist schools such as the Jasper Allen school for Performing Arts. I offer singing lessons (classical and pop) to all levels and ages as well as musicality, language and performance skills. I am patient and nurturing. I understand how daunting vocal lessons can be and will work at building your self-confidence as well as a good technique. As your vocal teacher I will help you to set goals that develop your unique instrument and bring out your own personality. I believe that singing is an important form of communication, and will use my stage experience to help you to deliver a performance with integrity and meaning. Above all, it must always be a joyful experience. I am based in Eaux-Vives but can (given enough warning) travel for lessons.

Trusted teacher: Guitar lessons are always useful for all levels of guitar playing. the course content will depend on the level of the student and is entirely open to any preferences in songs or techniques the student wishes to learn. My course is designed in such a way that it focuses on the student's creativity with the guitar and works towards fine tuning what will eventually become the student's original song or composition. I encourage my students to tap into their creativity, since in my experience, I have found that this is where the pleasure and beauty of music tends to surface, when there are the least amount of boundaries possible. All styles of music are welcome!
How to learn to sing? To sing just and well? To answer these complex questions, I was interested in phonatory mechanisms, with speech therapists and phoniatres, I studied singing with a dozen singing teachers, I participated in many Masterclasses and trained myself in different institutions: first at the conservatories of Vaulx-en-Velin and Mâcon, then at the Regional Conservatory of Montpellier, and finally at the Haute Ecole de Musique in Lausanne where I am currently studying with Leontina Vaduva. It is first of all through passion that I want to convey what I have learned. This is felt, according to the words of my students, in my way of teaching that reconciles the rigor of art and the pleasure of singing. In my pedagogical approach, I clearly separate the vocal technique and the art of singing, that is to say the management of an objective mechanism, physical and physiological, of sound production (articulation of the language, management of the pressures subglottic and supra-glottic to achieve a pneumo-phono-resonantial balance), and the shaping of this sound to achieve musical beauty (make a beautiful "legato" line, tempo variations, nuances, etc.). ). When I start with a new student, I first make a diagnosis to determine the range of voice, the level of resonantial passages, and check the health of the larynx (tone, endurance, flexibility). The typical course begins with vocal technique exercises and ends with the work of a musical piece. I adapt my course according to the needs of each one (for example, I can start with an exercise of relaxation, of breath, or a physical warm-up), but also according to the desires and the tastes of the pupil (the technical part will last longer or shorter). When I move for a single student, far from Lausanne, I ask to be defrayed. From three students, and in Lausanne, I travel for free. For students, I can adapt my rate.
