Matteo - Brussels35€
Trusted teacher: Are you interested in learning or developing your flute skills? Are you a beginner or already advanced? Opening up to different repertoires and techniques? You need to integrate your flute class with strong discipline regarding rhythms and solfege? Then... what are you waiting for? I offer lessons of flute and recorder in three languages (French, English & Italian). If you are a big fun of art noveau buildings you can come to my house in Schaerbeek. Or if you leave too far, I can come to your place. My name is Matteo and I am an Italian flutist and musicologist, based in Brussels since 2010. I graduated in modern flute at 'B. Marcello' Conservatory in Venice and at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels with Barthold Kuijken and Frank Theuns in the Baroque flute. I hold a master degree in Philosophy and Musicology as well. I am currently a PhD candidate at Cardiff University, School of Music. From 2013 till 2015, I have been teaching at the Venice Conservatory "B. Marcello", giving yearly lectures and seminaries on the historical repertoire for the fute. I recorded for Warner Classics & Erato, and a soloist for Arcana/Outhere Music ('La solitude à deux. Solos and duets by G. P. Telemann' in 2018 and 'Affect is no Crime. New music for old instruments' in 2019). I regularly play with leading ensembles and orchestras such as Vox Luminis (Lionel Meunier), Les Muffatti (Peter van Heyghen), Le Concert d'Anvers (Bart van Reyn), B.O.X. (Pieter Theuns), Silete Venti (Simone Toni), Transports publics (Thomas Baeté), Oficina Musicum (Riccardo Favero), and performs on the main stages and festivals such as: Festival Oude Muziek in Utrecht, De Singel in Antwerp, Bozar in Brussels, Festival de Sablé, Festival des Abbeyes en Lorraine Ravenna Festival, Grandezze e Meraviglie in Modena, Venetian Centre for Baroque Music in Venice, Spazio & Musica at Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Festival Accademia Bizantina, Coudenberg in Brussels, Teatro dell'Arte di Milan, Teatro Della Pergola in Florence, Ars in Cathedrali in Brussels, Musée Jacquemart-André in Paris, and many others.

Trusted teacher: Professional saxophonist eager to teach and work to make the best of yourself! Classes are for all levels, children or adults. We follow a working method where you will develop in a continuous and deep way your musicality, way of playing, expressiveness and technique. -------------------------------------------------- ---------------------- Raúl is a Spanish saxophonist who finished his MASTER DIDACTIC in 2018 in the Ecole Supérieure des Arts in Mons. Before, he also followed a MASTER of INTERPRETATION at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (2015-2017) in the class of Alain Crepin and Simon Diricq. He studied at the "Musikene" (Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country) with Eric Devallon, Tomás Jérez, Antonio Felipe Belijar and Miguel Ángel Lorente. Passionate about multidisciplinary artistic creation, he thinks of mixing all the arts in the same show as an aesthetic finality. This type of research has been observed in his project for his final master's recital in Brussels where he created a project based on Maslow's theory of human needs hierarchy where he mixes live, recorded music from the dance, light effects and effects under the name of "according to Maslow ..." At the level of his career as a concert artist, he has played in different ensembles (solo, duet, trio, quartet, orchestra ...) and different countries such as Japan ("Suono Italia" 2010), Belgium (2016 Musiq3 Festival) ), Artonov Festival at BOZAR in 2016 ...), France (Dax 2011 chamber music festival) or Spain (Quincena Musical Music Festival 2015, Aste Nagusia 2015, Heineken Jazzaldia 2014, Kutxa Festival 2015, Intercentros Melómano 2010).

Violin lessons, music theory and history of music (Brussels)
Katja
I really recommend katja for your violin classes!!! She's a very good teacher. Katja has a rich background in music and is able to adapt the class according to the level of the student. Her explanations and corrections to evolve are concreet and very well done, which makes things easier to understand. She makes you love music and violin. She has a good time notion and makes the hour of the class efficient as she makes you work on different things. She's also a very nice person! Enjoy your class with katja :)

Catalina
Catalina is a wonderful teacher! I have just started to play the viola and I am very happy to have found Catalina as my teacher! Catalina is experienced, professional, motivated, creative and patient. She easily adapts to the student's level and tailors each lesson to the student's individual needs. Her teaching approach is original, creative and effective and it is apparent that Catalina enjoys teaching and sharing her knowledge. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for viola lessons.

François-Jean
I am very happy to have found a teacher like François-Jean for my very first encounters with a cello. Not only he is very competent as a musician and teacher he also is multilingual and I enjoy my lessons given in my mother tongue German. Until now I had 3 lessons with him all of them fruitful, focussed and funny at the same time. I can highly recommend him for every person interested in cello lessons in Brussels.
