Hello, I offer piano lessons for children, teenagers and adults, from beginner to intermediate level. With 10 years of academy experience, I have acquired a solid foundation in technique, music reading, rhythm, and interpretation. I teach with patience, kindness, and a methodical approach, adapting to each student's level and goals. My courses may include: • Work on posture and technique. • Reading notes and solfège. • Rhythm and ear training exercises. • Learning pieces according to your tastes. My primary goal is to allow each student to progress at their own pace, while enjoying the game. Courses can be held in person or online, depending on location and needs.

Even though music is universal, specific terms and method learning differ from one culture and another one. This is why I propose some individual courses of music and piano for people curions about discovering or maybe improving their artistic skills in the language of Moliere. At the beginning of the lesson, the student will be trained by some theory, not the best part for most people. But with the help of mnemotechnic methods, those basics won't have a secret for him/her anymore ;) Then, I will adapt the pratical part depending on the student's level...and will of course ;) He/She can bring the music piece he would like to play.

I am a lyric singer who graduated from Codarts, University of Arts Rotterdam, and I am also a violinist who graduated from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels. I sing in choirs and as a freelance soloist. I have sung at the Amsterdam Opera, Vienna Opera, Italy, and Jordan, and have also performed in recital at Bozar in Brussels, Teatro Verdi in Florence, as well as in France and the Netherlands. Among the roles I have sung on stage are Liu in Turandot by Puccini, Donna Elvira in Gon Giovanni by Mozart, Musetta in La Bohème by Puccini, La Sacerdotessa in Aida by Verdi, Gilda in Rigoletto by Verdi, Berta in Il Barbiere di Siviglia by Rossini, Lucy in The Telephone by Menotti. In addition to performing live, I enjoy sharing my passion for music with my students. I've had the pleasure of teaching for 12 years. I adapt my teaching method to each student according to their abilities and interests. I mainly teach classical music, but also pop and popular music. My goal is to make learning music fun while assimilating technique so that the student progresses while staying motivated. An important aspect I want to instill in my students is the ability to perform in public. That's why I organize numerous concerts for interested students, giving them the opportunity to experience the stress and preparations of a concert, thus developing their self-confidence and stage presence. Each year, we create a show based on a musical work, allowing students to develop a role, interact with other musicians, and thus get as close as possible to the artistic experience.

I teach music online (Skype, Zoom, Whatsapp...) and in-person in Brussels and Waterloo, Belgium. Nearly 30 years of experience. 800+ students taught. All lessons are individual lessons (no group classes). The focus is on learning modern styles of the past, say, 80 years: rock, blues, jazz, reggae, singer-songwriter, folk, pop, country, bossa nova... rather than older classical or traditional Spanish guitar music. Also, I arrange band workshops, recording workshops, and learn to jam sessions, to get you playing with other musicians and performing/recording. This has resulted in two local rock bands... The Manneken Pistols and The KBH Boogie Band who both play regularly around Brussels and who were featured recently on Bruzz TV.

Hello! My name is Solange, I am 19 years old. Born into a family of musicians, I started piano lessons with my father at the age of 4 and the harp at the age of 7 with Annie Lavoisier. At the age of 13, I entered his harp class at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels as a young talent. In 2018, I decided to deepen my piano training by returning to the Lemmens Institute in Louvain in Régine Willems' class while continuing my student career in Brussels. I am finishing my secondary studies in June 2022 with a high distinction in piano. I will enter Emma Wauters' class in 2023 and continue my higher studies in her class at the Luca School of Arts, Campus Lemmens in Louvain. My motivation in teaching is to transmit my musical knowledge and the pleasure of playing while respecting the age and aptitudes of the students. It is possible to combine harp or piano lessons with the basics of music theory if necessary. I don't move, lessons are given at home (Celtic harp and pedal harp available). Do not hesitate to contact me for more information if you are interested!
