Trusted teacher: I have deeply enjoyed history and historiography from high school, where I received top marks, through university, where we studied history from Australia, the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, to the present, where I still read and learn history on a regular basis. In recent years, I have particularly tried to focus on history retold from the perspective of those left out of the traditional view, which is really just anyone who isn't a white, upper-class, European male. This broader and more complex view of history leads to a more nuanced understanding of the past, particularly from a social perspective. I try to bring this knowledge to the classroom, to help the student understand history contextually and how it is shaped through an interplay of individual personalities and social, economic and political trends. I work to include as much primary evidence as possible and always encourage students to approach both primary and secondary sources critically, considering the bias and intention of the source. If I'm not familiar enough with the particular aspect of history the student is studying, I will do the necessary research to be able to help them competently. I really enjoy history and try to bring my enthusiasm, knowledge and experience to every class I teach.

- Private history and geo lessons at secondary and high school level - The courses take place as follows: 1 - Exhibition of the key concepts of the course: the most important knowledge is studied in the simplest way to ensure a good overall understanding. 2 - Presentation of non-essential concepts: to be among the best in his class, the student's knowledge must extend beyond the main concepts of the chapters. The student can then refine his revision using examples, anecdotal events and historical details. It is enough to place 2 or 3 of these details in his control copy to show the corrector that the student has mastered the subject. 4 - Active revision through exercises or games: in the form of riddles, multiple choice questions or multiple choice questions, the student's training is done in a fun way. The brain is then stimulated so that it can acquire knowledge more quickly. 5 - Assessment of essential knowledge: it is a question of making a list of events, dates and major figures in history in order to better memorize them. - At any of these stages, the student can ask questions. The answers will be simple and precise in order to clarify the course in the eyes of the student and to ensure optimal understanding. - If necessary, set up a memorization program so that the student can acquire the concepts more quickly. - Pedagogy adapted to the student according to his class (ex: 4th, 3rd ...), his pace of work and his motivation.
