After an internship at a special education school in Winterthur, I have been studying speech therapy in Zurich since 2023 and play the viola in orchestral projects, various chamber music formations and the violin in a band. The most important thing for me is to create a pleasant and motivating atmosphere in which the focus is on making music. I am convinced that the best way to learn the flute is to play the music you enjoy playing. The lessons are based on making music together, giving you the tools to practice at home in a fun and efficient way. Lessons can be given in German, English, or Spanish. No prior knowledge is required. I will do my best to tailor the lessons to your wishes and needs. About me: Nicolás is a flautist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied flute with Patricia Da Dalt at the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Manuel de Falla" and graduated with honors in 2020. In 2021, he moved to Switzerland to continue his musical studies. He first completed a Master's degree in Music Performance at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts with Sarah Rumer, and then a Master's degree in Music Education at the Zurich University of the Arts with Silvia Careddu, which he also completed with honors. He is a prize winner of national and international competitions, including 1st prize at the International Competition «La Flauta Latinoamericana», 2nd prize at the National Competition for Classical Music «Dr. Tilo Rajneri», and 1st prize at the 1st Flute Competition of the Conservatorio Superior de Música «Manuel de Falla». Between 2024 and 2025, he played second flute and piccolo in the Collegium Musicum Basel, and since 2025 he has been the principal flutist of this orchestra. He also regularly performs as a guest musician with various orchestras in Switzerland. In addition to his orchestral work, he is also active as a teacher: he teaches at the Weinfelden Music School, the Schaffhausen Cantonal Music School, and the Untersee and Rhine Music School, and also gives private lessons.

Since I was a walking baby, my mom said I was a musician. As the years passed, this path drew itself almost alone. Was just right before coming abroad alone when I knew this passion was bigger than anything else I have in life. It was also since then, that I realized that more than all the performance musicians that I admired I should admire my teachers that allowed me to grow and discover my full potential. So, I perceived I want do be the creator of someone else's path and growth, both human and musically as I believe it is impossible to disconnect them, being music the ultimate form of expression. I don't have a lot of experience but I'm young, fast at adapting to new environments, and especially willing to grow and to be my best at every moment with every particular person. "Music can change the world because it can change people."

Thanks to a hybrid method book for older beginners that contains pedagogically and age appropriate piano pieces, technical exercises, and supplementary activities, students are able to play hands together from the very first day, unlikely to traditional methods. In case of a former experience in playing the piano, I build on their existing knowledge and continue to expand their skills and creativity. I am also open to student's suggestions, I believe that playing a piece they enjoy is effective in keeping them motivated. ADULTS It's never too late to pick up a new skill. As an adult, you have unique advantages over children when it comes to learning music. You have greater focus, a better grasp of music theory, and a strong motivation to succeed. We'll follow a hybrid method book for older beginners that contains pedagogically appropriate piano pieces, technical exercises, and supplementary activities, and allows you, unlikely to traditional methods, to play hands together from the very first day. Do you have a favorite song that you've always wanted to play but thought it was too difficult? There are plenty of classical and popular melodies that have been arranged for beginners, so you can start playing them right after grasping the basics of piano playing.

Warm sounds and stylistic versatility - the cello offers that and much more! Ioanna gives her student body a lively and enriching approach to music. In this way, she awakens the joy of the variety of cello playing. She teaches the various playing techniques in a natural teaching atmosphere. She also experiments with simple melodies, scales and small improvisations. She also dares to work with her students on larger works from the wide range of cello literature. In terms of pitch, the cello is most similar to the human voice - and thus also to the human soul.

Hello, my name is Izabel and I play the viola professionally and work in Zurich Opernhaus as well as other orchestras. I also have more than 10 years of experience teaching the violin, the viola and music theory. I can speak fluent English, Bulgarian and French. I can also understand German, but cannot fluently communicate. I would be happy to work with you or your child at your home, or in my studio, as well as give an online course. My weeks are often quite flexible and I am happy to accommodate to your schedule whenever it is possible. It is an important step in one's development to seek the right guidance and to have a teacher who helps them develop and grow. I was lucky to have been taught by incredible teachers, but I also needed to create a specialised way of practicing for myself, which I soon realised could help many others get through the difficulties of learning the stringed instrument. If you are interested in my course, please reach out and be sure that you will not regret it. All the best, Izabel
