Considered “Best Colombian Young Pianist 2018” after winning the first prize in the national piano competition in Colombia. I have a Master's degree from Liszt Ferenc in Budapest, Hungary, and a Master's degree from Columbus State University in the United States. I am currently a piano professor and collaborative pianist at the Universidad del Valle and Conservatorio "Antonio María Valencia" in Colombia. Besides my career as a pianist, I have over 10 years of experience in teaching Piano, music theory, and history for all ages and categories. Even if you are a beginner we can make it! I have a personal method where I combine both classical and commercial repertoire depending on the student’s preferences. I usually play four hands with my students as well and organize at least one concert a year with all my students where they can meet and share their experiences. With these classes you can learn about different techniques and composition styles. There is a component of music appreciation, music theory, score creation and music production. My goal is to help you create your own music, whether it be popular songs or works for different instruments. You will be able to capture your creations in sheet music and you will have the basic tools to use editing software and DAWs. In the end I hope you can compose and record your own music.

Stefan was born in 1992 in Struga, Macedonia, and started playing the accordion at the age of 7. He studied accordion performance at the Music High School DMU "Todor Skalovski – Tetoec" from 2007 to 2011. He continued his accordion performance studies at the Academy of Music, Dance, and Fine Arts in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, graduating in 2015. In addition to classical and variety music, he also studied Bulgarian folk music. Since September 2015, he has served as an accordion teacher at the Music High School. Throughout his education, he has had regular performances both as a soloist and as a member of chamber ensembles at various concerts, festivals, and competitions. He has also actively participated in judging panels at numerous competitions at the republic, national, and international levels. His students frequently perform at concerts and important events, achieving numerous accolades at both national and international accordion competitions. Stefan also leads his own band, which specializes in performing Balkan folk music, and has performed at numerous festivals and private parties. Teaching Style I am an experienced, friendly, and patient accordion teacher. I offer lessons in classical, variety, and traditional folk music from the Balkans and Southeast Europe, including Macedonia, Bulgaria, and Serbia. I have extensive experience teaching both children and adults of all ages. Russian piano education focuses on fewer, more challenging pieces. The music will be learnt from memory and much of the learning is done through teacher demonstration. - Solfeggio First of all, what is solfeggio? Also known as 'solfège', solfeggio (sometimes called sight-singing) is the ability to read and sing music at sight. You may have heard this phrase before: 'Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do'. This is a method used to help musicians sight-sing. The Russian piano teaching method is often complemented by the use of solfeggio, and it is commonplace that when Russian teachers do use it, they use the fixed do, meaning C is always do, regardless of the key. With the British piano teaching method, solfeggio is less commonly used, and when it is, moveable do (the tonic is do) is used. As you can probably decipher, this makes the Russian method of using solfeggio much more challenging. - Attitude Without wanting to cast a generalisation across Russia, their learning method has been known for strictness, discipline and controversy. It leaves many wondering: Is the Russian way of learning the piano more demanding? Frequently, Russian piano teachers I work with joke about the harshness of teachers in their youth. The method is trying to achieve excellence in piano playing, but encouragement and discipline are used to varying degrees.
