Music Theory & Ear Training | Songwriting, Arrangement & (Home) Recording | Individual or duo lessons with group discount | Band coaching for popular music | Music University Theory Exam Preparation | On the bass, you accomplish heroic things in the background: Since the human ear organizes music from low to high, ... the bass determines how chords are heard. He is also the link between rhythm and harmonies in the ensemble. From this great power comes great responsibility! With me you will learn to deal with this responsibility. We play your favorite music and expand your musical horizons by promoting your expression, hearing and creativity. In addition, we work on your technique, rhythm, coordination, imagination and your musical knowledge, so that you can develop your musical skills more and more independently and more freely (with or without notes) step by step.

I also like to teach music theory / composition, so if you need theory tutoring or preparation for university exams, I can help you with that too! With 16 years of guitar playing experience and Bachelors Degree in Jazz & Contemporary Popular music, I've had the opportunity to play Jazz, RnB, Folk/Singersongwriter, Bluegrass, Funk, Heavy Metal, Rock. From Jazz Bigbands and Musical Pitbands, to accompanying singer songwriters, to playing solo guitar concerts. I'm now studying a Master of Jazz Composition and Arranging at KUG in Graz and I love to help others understanding complex musical theory and how it can be used to write new music! English is of course my mother tongue but I would be happy to teach in German as well!

I am happy to be able to give joy and confidence in piano playing to each person who is interested, no matter what level, nor age that person has!:) As a certified teacher ( I fulfilled my BA of piano performance and instrumental teaching in Austria, currently studying a MA), the main points of my teaching focus on the following aspects; -teaching different stiles (ex pop songs) with the main focus on classical piano -adapting the methods to each student in an individual way -focusing on the physical (body contact, relaxation, "healthy playing") and psychological well-being (reassuring the confidence, building a foundation for a creative development) of the students -varying from "notes playing" to improvisation, musical dialogues and duets -presenting a clear, yet detailed, colorful way of each piece as an argument for the student's own understanding/perception regarding it -approaching and developing technique from musicality -respecting, supporting and effectively communicating with each student I offer Piano lessons, as well as auxiliare music subjects such as music theory, harmony, music history.

Trusted teacher: This course is aimed at anyone who is considering starting to play the piano or starting where they may have stopped years ago or simply looking for advice and listeners. I offer fresh access to teaching, where basic principles and ideas of playing the piano are adapted to the skills and any previous knowledge. But since the music is never just in the notes and keys, I also attach particular importance to a simple and creative introduction to the classical music language and the theory associated with it. The most important thing in the end is still the joy of making music and that's why I try to make the hours fun and relaxed :)

Trusted teacher: Singing and making music is a lot of fun, but it's not that easy ... no matter what level you are at. For this you need energy, concentration and, above all, patience. But if you manage to improve, it's twice as fun. That’s why I’m here. You sing a lot but want to improve your technique? Or are you a beginner and want to get a taste of the music world? Are you a passionate member of a band but still need a little help with ear training? Then I can definitely help you, regardless of whether you are younger or older than me. My goal is that after a few weeks you will find your hobby much easier and funnier. I completed a bachelor's degree in classical singing in Montréal (Uni McGill) and am currently doing a master's degree in opera at the Music and Art University of the City of Vienna. My experiences with children and as a temporary teacher have shown me how I can teach you my greatest passion.

Hi fellow cellist, You have chosen to play the most wonderful instrument there is. I have been playing the cello for almost two decades and I can tell you it is a beautiful and rewarding journey, and I would not be where I am today without a group of extraordinary teachers and mentors that have been with me along the way and shared their wisdom and experience with me. Now it is my turn to share. I have been teaching for a few years and I love watching my students develop, enjoy the cello, learn new things, and become better at expressing themselves in the universal language of music. Whether you are a complete beginner or an intermediate/advanced level player, I would be happy to offer my guidance and perspective on anything you want to work on and improve. Aside from the technical part of the playing process, I can also be helpful in talking about performance anxiety, specifics of the music major education, preparation for auditions, building up your social media, etc. Contact me to set a lesson using the form below and I look forward to meeting you! Studio Policy This policy is in place to protect the student, the parent of the student, and the teacher and serves to ensure that lessons run smoothly. Lessons/Payment: Students may enroll in lessons at any time. Lessons will take place at the teacher’s studio in Vienna, Austria. Online lessons are facilitated using Skype/Facetime/Zoom. Tuition is paid monthly and is calculated by multiplying the lesson rate by 4 weeks (3 or 5 weeks for certain months). Additional lessons are allowed based on the teacher’s availability. If I am traveling for a big portion of the month, I will let you know in advance, so that the tuition for that month is multiplied by the number of weeks I will be at home. Single lessons in the form of a consultation or master class are available if you are not ready to commit to a monthly package. If you have special circumstances that prevent you from taking weekly lessons or traveling to my studio, please contact me directly and I will do my best to accommodate your situation. Tuition is to be paid at least 24 hours in advance of the first lesson of each month. Tuition is payable through Apprentus. For the consultation/single lesson, a one-time lesson fee is to be paid at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson. Your timely payment serves as a confirmation of our time agreement. If I do not hear from you nor get the payment at least 24 hours before the lesson, I reserve the right to reschedule and/or cancel the scheduled lesson. Tardiness: The student will contact the teacher by phone if they expect to be late for a scheduled lesson. If a student arrives after their scheduled lesson time has begun, the teacher will complete the lesson in the remaining portion of the time slot. Additional time for student tardiness is not guaranteed. If the teacher arrives after a scheduled lesson has begun, the teacher will give additional time past the time slot to compensate for their tardiness with mutual acceptance of the student’s schedule. Rescheduling/Cancellations: Students must cancel/reschedule lessons by phone or email with at least 24-hour notice. Cancellations are considered excused for illness, family emergency, or severe weather (public school closures). Excused cancellations with sufficient notification will be given a make-up lesson within the month or lesson credit towards the following month. No-shows, cancellations without sufficient notification, or unexcused cancellations will not be given make-up lessons or lesson credits. The teacher may need to cancel a lesson due to illness or a family emergency and/or reschedule due to performance engagements or planned vacations. In this case, the teacher will provide a make-up lesson within the month or apply a lesson credit towards the following month. If desired, the make-up lesson can also be taken online via Skype. If a student cancels a re-scheduled make-up lesson, the lesson will be considered forfeited. Make-up lessons are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. If a make-up lesson is not possible, a lesson credit will be applied toward the following month. Copyright/class recordings: Lessons and seminars are considered intellectual property and may not be recorded (audio or video). The teacher is legally protected in case of a breach of this agreement. The teacher is entitled to immediate termination of the lesson/package without a refund if this rule is broken. The teacher is entitled to legal action in case of copyright infringement. Parental Involvement for younger students: I do not teach children below the age of 10 via Skype as they require hands-on work to form correct playing habits and posture. Students 10 years and younger must have a parent or guardian present at the lesson. The parent will take notes and act as the student’s “home teacher”. Parental involvement is welcomed and strongly encouraged for all students, but not required for students 10 years and older.

Trusted teacher: Hello! I teach private piano lessons to adults and children at all levels. My methods of teaching varies on each individual. I generally start to focus on music theory, techniques, repertoire and understanding music emotionally using dynamics, feeling, touch and hearing skills. The emotional part of music is very prominent when I teach, it is very important for the student to enjoy what they're learning and to also have access to be able to express themselves through music. Some students are better at learning by ear, improvising and composition, some other students are better with music theory and learning repertoire. Depending on the student, I usually work on their strengths to keep their interest and eventually move on to the more difficult aspects of music and learning how to play the piano! Musicians health is also a part of my teaching methods. It is very important to approach music with a relaxed attitude mentally and physically especially to prevent any future injuries! If you have any further questions please let me know! Hope to hear from you soon.
