Learning to sing doesn't always have to be a frustrated dream, we can all do it well, either as a hobby or because we want to be professionals. My name is Catalina and I am a singer, I teach other people because connecting through music is my passion. I always work the classes under two principles: 1. Keep the class light and fun. 2. That everything in class is understandable and clear (if I have to repeat 80 times, no problem). Methodology of the classes: Classes can be taught at my home, the student's home, or virtually. In the first class, a repertoire of approximately 2 or 3 songs is defined, which correspond to the student's taste as well as the vocal challenges they face, and an evaluation of strengths and challenges in learning is made. In general all classes are divided into 3 parts: 1. Body warm-up (stretching, breathing exercises and activation of important muscles for singing). 2. Vocal warm-up through exercises to strengthen agility, tuning, phrasing and support. 3. Repertoire work where each of the details of the song being sung is reviewed, paying special attention to the most difficult parts of the song. I have been fortunate to be able to teach children, adolescents, adults and seniors.

I work with a dynamic attitude, using ease to communicate in public, both live and by phone or virtually, I try to convey the illusion that Music gives me back. With versatility, I seek to establish ways to meet the needs of the student, thus perfecting my goals as a teacher. Delighted to learn and expand horizons with each experience. In addition to teaching in general, the objective of the classes is personalized, it proposes to strengthen the natural abilities of the student, thus increasing his creative horizon, through a playful and fun system; learning, perfecting and playing. My goal is to give enough tools to not need me or, in other words, use what I have learned to continue learning ...

CLASSES IN SPANISH, CATALAN, FRANÇAIS, DEUTSCH, ENGLISH I teach singing, piano, music awareness/introduction and solfège. I live in Madrid and I'm a student pursuing a higher degree in singing (jazz and contemporary music). I dedicate a good part of my time to teaching (music and language) through private online or in-person lessons. I started giving private lessons to children at their homes when I lived in Germany. During the 2022-2023 academic year, I taught piano to students of all ages at the RedMusik Music School (Igualada, Catalonia). I studied piano and other instruments for over 15 years at the UGDA and the Luxembourg City Conservatory. After many years of solfège and piano, I obtained the Conservatory's "Première Mention" certificate with the highest possible grade, "Très Bien". A good music lesson should include not only technique and reading sheet music, but also theoretical and harmonic study, improvisation, recreational playing with the instrument, and ear training and rhythm exercises. I am interested in designing the lesson creatively and adapting it to the needs and desires of the student. I hope I can encourage you to move forward with your musical learning, and if that's the case, don't hesitate to write to me with any questions you may have :) See you soon! Aurélie

People of all ages are welcome in my classes, regardless of whether they are starting from scratch or have prior knowledge. I always try to respond to the individual needs of each student and design classes according to their objectives. For me, learning to play an instrument is not only about acquiring the proper technique, but also about developing one's own musical and artistic personality. To this end, I always work with my students on works that, in addition to helping them advance technically, are attractive and interesting for them, in order to foster their motivation. Throughout my career I have worked with students of all ages, both viola and violin. I have been a violin and viola teacher in various music schools in Holland and Germany, and I currently work as a viola teacher at the Official Music and Dance Center "Musical Martí", in Madrid. About me: I have a degree in viola from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague (Holland). Subsequently, I completed my Master in Interpretation at the Utrecht Higher Conservatory. I am Violeta Amat, a pianist and actress living in Madrid. I am looking for students interested in exploring music and/or theater from both a technical and creative perspective. My experience and training in theater have allowed me to develop a pedagogical approach that combines both disciplines: music and theater. Theatrical tools allow me to work with students on stage fright and the development of their own sound through activities involving fantasy, play, and imagination. In this way, I teach both theater and music (piano) classes, either independently or by combining both disciplines.

Discover the world of drums, percussion, and music theory with fully personalized lessons My approach as a teacher is based on a simple yet essential idea: every student is unique. That's why I design each class taking into account your level, interests, and goals. Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to refine your technique, I adapt the content so you learn in an enjoyable and meaningful way. In the area of drums, I'll guide you from the fundamentals, such as posture, stick grip, and reading rhythmic scores, to rhythms and styles that inspire you: rock, pop, funk, jazz, Latin, and many more. If you already have experience, we'll delve deeper into technique, independence, complex grooves, and creative fills, always with room to explore your favorite musical influences. If classical percussion is your thing, you'll find a specialized space where we'll work on technique and repertoire on marimba, snare drum, timpani, vibraphone and multi-percussion. And to give you a solid foundation to support your practice, I offer applied music theory classes. Far from being boring, we approach it practically: rhythmic and melodic reading, harmony, ear training... All geared towards helping you understand and enjoy the music you play more, whether for composing or performing in a group.
