Trusted teacher: Hello there, ever since I was a teenager I have always admired musicians in small and gigantic stages alike, and have wondered how such marvelous magic could possibly be created from their fingertips. If you are reading this, then maybe you feel the same way towards the piano as I do! I can offer myself to explore with you, with my experiences coming from jazz piano playing, how it works on the piano: basic playing skills, chords and how to voice them, playing solo lines, harmonic knowledge to write your own song, learning to read a lead sheet with only melody and chords, and so many more. Here are some of the goals that you and I can work together to make it happen: 1) Learn to play your favorite tunes on piano or electric piano 2) Learn to accompany yourself while you are singing 3) Learn to play in a band setting 4) Learn to write and play your own songs 5) Learn the keyboard skills for your home production gears (i.e. MIDI keyboard controllers) 6) Learn to improvise on the piano Now, a little bit about myself; the moment I decided that I should try for music came much later compared to my colleagues. I started very late, and thus had to come up with methods of teaching myself fast and efficiently. And I believe that my own experiences coming from the struggles I've had could be of help to you, to understand the task at the hand better and to come up with plans on how to handle them. Still, at the end of the day, progress by itself would be not our ultimate goal; it would be to have fun sitting in front of the piano! If you are interested, hit me up!

Hello fellow musician! Have you ever dreamed of becoming a saxophone player? Wheter you are trying to become a jazz improviser, or you have just started familiarizing with the instrument, I can teach you how to: - be able to produce a beutiful sound; - use music theory as a practical way to play correctly over changes; - maximize the outcome of your practice-time; - master the technique on your horn. As a student, I often found myself struggling with resolving a particular set of problems. I would often be confronted with higher-levelled players, wondering whether I would ever be able to express myself as they did through their music. Having been studying this music for many years, I experimented with a lot of different learning methods, only to find out that music improvisation is something that is mainly learned in a very personal, differentiated way. One of the most interesting things I experienced as an educator, when confronted with students who shared my own past insecurities, doubts, questions, and struggles, was getting to understand a part of the person in front of me; and to find a way in which they would finally be able to grasp and internalize a theoretical concept that could then enable them to formulate a more coherent musical idea. Even if every student is a unique individual, thus responding to different educational methods, I think that, over time, I was able to identify a red line around which I could create a method that can be beneficial to the majority of aspirational players. For the past few years, I have been giving private instrument lessons to jazz players with varied backgrounds and experience. My educative career consists of a traditional classical, MA in classical saxophone (Conservatorio G. B. Martini, Bologna), a BA in jazz saxophone (ibid.), and a BA in jazz saxophone called New York Jazz Bachelor at the Prins Claus Conservatorium Groningen which I am currently busy with.

I think of me as social musician. I mostly like to play sharing music with others. My first priority goes to having an interesting/charming/ resonant full sound. Then i work on how to connect your inner ear ability so that u can play as simple as possible in a way that u can hear it before you are getting to play it on saxophone. But i am also teaching how to play simply in a way that makes enough sense through several understandings related to ways that improvised music have used before. I a mostly an alto player but i can teach to any other sort of saxophone like tenor ,soprano etc. My sound , technique and lessons are mostly coming from jazz music(blues, swing , mostly american music of 20s-60s) I assign homework after every lesson about the technique of the saxophone but also the possible tools of improvisation in music.

I strongly believe that: "The voice is an all-powerful instrument, capable of expressing deep feelings that perhaps no other musical instrument can do. It is directly connected with the soul and becomes the audible expression of it. It converts the invisible into visible, creates new sounds and colors, transforms emotion into music. The voice is a tool to discover, subject to continuous evolution and expansion; expansion that goes beyond our imaginable limits."

Matteo - Forest, Belgium$36
Trusted teacher: Do you want to know the register of your voice? Can you sing the higher notes without hurting your voice? Learn how to do pass marks? Getting to have a powerful but also agile voice? I am a songwriter, pop and jazz singer, and voice teacher with 20 years of music experience. I offer singing lessons at all levels. My courses are addressed on the development of bodily and vocal awareness which helps to perceive and consider our body as a musical instrument. My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse study paths followed. The lesson is structured in two parts: the first half devoted to vocal technique, the second half to musical repertoire. The vocal technique that I propose is a basic technique for all types of modern singing: from postural education to the care of breathing, from the use of the abdominal muscles, to the emission of air to the cavities of resonance. From a repertoire perspective, the course will be modeled after the student's needs or interests, with an eye for the right attitude to hold while you sing and you are on a stage. I prefer pop and jazz, but I can work with any other modern genre. If the student wishes, I can give him notions of harmony and reading music. EDUCATION I studied song with Bruno De Franceschi (conductor and composer of contemporary classical music and musical theater). I studied vocal technique with the lyric singer David Sotgiu (pupil of Luciano Pavarotti), with the lyric singer Maria Grazia Pittavini (teacher at the Perugia Conservatory) and with Cinzia Spata (one of the most important Italian jazz vocal coaches). I studied jazz singing at the Perugia Conservatory with Marta Raviglia (one of the most important Italian jazz singing teachers) and privately with Cinzia Spata. I studied lyrical singing with Maria Grazia Pittavini. I studied pop and jazz piano with Manuel Magrini (one of the most talented young Italian jazz pianists), I studied jazz piano with Alessandro Bravo, jazz piano master at the Perugia Conservatory. I attended masterclasses relating to the world of singing and voice held by: Maria Pia De Vito (singer), Alejandro Saorin Martinez (voice craft method), Albert Hera (singer, vocal coach, circle song), Erika Biavati ( singer), Eleonora Bruni (singer), Catharina Kroeger (lyric singer), Amanda Tiffin (South African jazz singer), JD Walter (American jazz singer), Matteo Belli (actor and one of the most important Italian experts in voice search), Franco Fussi (one of the most important speech therapists in Italy), Roberta Mazzocchi (speech therapist). EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS I have 20 years of experience in music with around 200 concerts between festivals, theaters, clubs and premises, an album of songs, an EP, singles, collaborations with the world of theater, organization of musical events . I lead musical projects in the field of jazz and pop. The passion for singing and song has inevitably brought me closer to the world of education in which I work.
