Trusted teacher: Hello and welcome to my music studio! It is absolutely fabulous that you are interested in music, and I hope you have lots and lots of fun with it! However, diving into the wonders of the piano/keyboard can be a bit overwhelming... and that is where I come in! This course is for anyone from complete beginners to advanced students, from lessons that focus completely on classical music to lessons that include or focus on the basics of jazz/pop. If you like to sing, we can also work on the basics of jazz/pop vocal, so you can learn to accompany yourself at the piano. In our lessons, technique will be an inherent part of the training, as well as analysis, basic music theory, and efficient ways of practicing music. If that all sounds good to you, then please reach out to me and we can start ASAP! Lessons can be in English or Dutch. So who am I? In a nutshell, I am a professional pianist, vocalist, lyricist and blogger. Since 2014, I have taught in various music schools, teaching piano, ensemble, jazz vocal, and solfege. On a more elaborate note, I obtained my Master of Arts in classical piano, summa cum laude, at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (KASK) in 2017, and studied as a Fulbrighter at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington USA during the 2019-2020 academic year. Every day, I strive to become a better musician and person, and I aim to transfer that passion to my students.

--------------------------------ENGLISH BELOW----------------- Der Kontrabass und der E-Bass gehören zu den wichtigsten und vielseitigsten Instrumenten in einem Ensemble, egal ob es sich um eine Funk-, Jazz-, Rockband oder ein klassisches Orchester handelt. Bei mir kannst Du den Umgang mit dem Bass lernen: von den wichtigsten Grundlagen, Spieltechniken, Übungen und Stilen bis hin zu entsprechenden Stücke und Songs. Einige unserer Ziele könnten die technische Vorbereitung auf das Spielen bestimmter Stücke, das Mitspielen in einem Ensemble oder einfach nur der Spaß an der Musik sein. Ich habe Kontrabass, Instrumental- und Gesangspädagogik an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien studiert und mein Masterstudium an der Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität mit Auszeichnung abgeschlossen. Als aktive Musikerin und als Pädagogin bin ich vielseitig – ich spiele gerne klassische, Jazz, Funk und Latinmusik und unterrichte Schüler/innen, die sich für unterschiedliche Musikrichtungen interessieren. The double bass and the electric bass are among the most important and versatile instruments in an ensemble, regardless of the style – funk, jazz, rock band or a classical orchestra. Together we can learn the most important basics, playing techniques, exercises and of course, different styles, pieces and songs. Some of our goals could be the learning of a particular piece/song, the preparation for playing in an ensemble or just to have fun, while playing. I have studied double bass-instrumental pedagogy at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and received my Master’s degree at the Music and Arts Private University with full marks. As an active musician and as a pedagogue, I open to different genres – I like to play classical, jazz, funk and Latin music and I enjoy a lot teaching them. I am happy to hear from you!

Englisch ist natürlich meine Muttersprache, aber ich würde gern auch auf Deutsch unterrichten! With 16 years of guitar playing experience and Bachelors Degree in Jazz & Contemporary Popular music, I've had the opportunity to play Jazz, RnB, Folk/Singersongwriter, Bluegrass, Funk, Heavy Metal, Rock. From Jazz Bigbands and Musical Pitbands, to accompanying singer songwriters, to playing solo guitar concerts. I know how the guitar fits into many different types of ensembles and with many styles of music. I'm now studying a Master of Jazz Composition and Arranging at KUG in Graz and I love to help others understanding complex musical theory and how it can be used to write new music! I love writing music for Bigband, Classical Chamber ensembles, and small jazz ensembles as well as for singer-songwriters. English is of course my mother tongue but I would be happy to teach in German as well!

We were looking for a piano teacher for our 7 years old son, which begin with piano and reading music. Panagiotis is a patient, pedagogue and very encouraging teacher. In addition, we appreciate that he arrives on time for the lesson and takes the time to review the lesson and the exercise for the next time at the end of the hour with our son.

I started learning flute with Klara about a month ago and I’m still taking lessons with her. Her teaching methods are very practical and I enjoyed learning so far. I highly recommend her for anyone starting with flute or already have any experience of playing and want to improve or improvise. ;)
