Piano lessons in Jazz, Classical, or Modern styles; depending on the student's interest, we can mix a bit of everything or delve deep into one style. Main focus applied to overcome the problem of piano: mastering two-handed rhythm. To achieve this, I teach left-hand grooves and foundations while working on improvisation, harmony, melodies, accompaniments, and everything there is to play with the right hand. I introduce piano techniques such as walking bass, tenths, stride, drop 2, and more. From my experience, rhythm, "Groove", and the connection with the music in the moment it is being played are the most challenging aspects to learn and integrate. Thus, I give significant emphasis to these topics in my sessions, especially those aimed at playing polyrhythmic instruments such as the piano. I cover compositional tools, approaching Jazz Standards, accompaniment techniques, improvisation methods for any instrument, Blues tools, methods to strengthen the relationship with the instrument, analysis, and listening skills. I also teach classical piano for those interested, and offer specific training in rhythm and percussion. I am fully committed to my students. With over 12 years of experience in music education, both in individual and group settings, I have a good rapport with boys and girls. Feel free to reach out, my friend! Long live music.

Jazz Lessons in Barcelona. Don't wait anymore and start your new hobby! If you love music and you feel the inner urge to learn it, I can help you out. I can teach students from all levels to play the saxophone. From jazz style to classical. After years of studying and practicing, I've come to the conclusion that the best way to learn music is by transcribing and singing. Music is like language, so I start by teaching how to connect the voice with the instrument. In a playful way, I will introduce you to harmony, teach you how to read music, compose your own tunes, and improvise. Side by side with theory according to your musical taste and preferences. I've been learning music since I was 3 years old and recently I've graduated with a Master's Degree at the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam. Previously, I studied at ESMUC (Barcelona), Kunst Uni Graz (Graz), and Temple University (Philadelphia). I've been a professional performer since 5 years ago and I've performed in several countries around the world.

I am a professional jazz saxophonist. I attended the Lille conservatory to study classical saxophone. After graduating in 2005, I joined the conservatory's jazz class and began studying the jazz tradition. During those years, I also worked on Afro-Cuban music with percussionist Fred “El Pulpo” Savinien and vibraphonist, arranger and conductor Laurent Erdös. I then took private lessons in Paris with Pierrick Pedron before moving to New York. While there I met jazz legend and saxophone master Bob Mover with whom I studied for several years. I also followed the teachings of Steve Houben and Fabrice Alleman in Brussels for some time. I also worked in blues, Afro-Cuban, soul and hip hop bands. I have been teaching jazz for more than 15 years. I now live in Spain and play mainly with jazz, Afro-Cuban and blues bands on the national scene. My classes focus on the jazz and blues tradition. I teach various aspects of jazz improvisation. The objective of the classes is to allow the student to develop a personal sound and progressively improve their rhythmic, harmonic and melodic knowledge.

If you've been playing guitar for a while and want to improve your guitar skills, this is the class you should take! We'll cover advanced chord tensions, how to apply them, improvising over different chords, cadence, and minor, major, and modal contexts. We can also review how to build a melody with chords, which could be a bit more advanced. We will use the same materials as Berklee College of Music to guide our path through this beautiful process of discovering the guitar. I prefer to teach with the person physically present, both because it makes the student feel more comfortable, and so do I as the educator; however, if there's a problem, I think we could arrange for online teaching.
