Currently finishing my Bachelor in Perfomance and Production at LCCM (London) I'm available to teach Guitar and theory mainly but I'm also available for debutant to intermediate for Bass, Keys, MAO. Guitar is my main instrument, I've been playing for 12years and been teaching for 7. My teaching philosophy is to teach how to have fun with your instrument and develop communicating skills to be able to interact with others musicians you want to play with.

Hi, my name is Jeremy and I've played music for 19 years, having performed over 200 concerts and composed with a wide variety of groups and ensembles across England and Belgium in many genres (Funk, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Rock, Alternative, Punk and more). I have completed 3 years of intensive bass study at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and am currently playing bass plus backing-vocals and song arrangement for Kids of the Elephant and Arrubio. In these lessons, I will help you reach your goals while having fun in the process, keeping the lessons structured and tailored to your personal needs. I have 5 years of experience helping students improve as well as specialist knowledge in a multitude of styles. Some examples of what you might learn include: - Correct hand positioning & posture for best performance and faster learning. - Learning your favorite songs quickly and easily. - Breaking down rhythms & dynamics - Understanding the role of bass playing in a band. - Understanding what makes a good bassline and composing your own. - Essential music theory for bass & more advanced techniques (eg: melodic techniques, rhythmic, slap bass, etc) - How to improvise, jam and play with other musicians. Appropriate homework/exercises and recordings are provided during lessons. I also like to give advice and direction for people with musical aspirations. My teaching centers on giving students a clear sense of direction, not just isolated tips. In our first lesson, I like to lay out a loose roadmap of where we're headed over the next few months, so progress feels concrete and intentional rather than vague. From there, I adapt closely to each student's actual goals — whether that's developing groove and time feel, expanding jazz vocabulary and harmonic understanding, or applying music theory directly on the neck. Because my own background spans classical composition, jazz performance, and Ableton production, I teach bass and music production as genuinely connected skills. For bass students, this often means building technique and vocabulary while also understanding the harmonic role the bass plays in a piece — inversions, voice leading, and how a bassline shapes the music around it, not just what notes to play. For production students, I bring the same structured approach to Ableton workflow, arrangement, and sound design, always grounding technical tools in the musical decisions they're meant to serve. Above all, I aim to meet students where they are and give them a clear, achievable sense of what mastery looks like at each stage, so that every lesson builds visibly toward something larger.

About the Lesson: Are you a music enthusiast that wants to start learning how to play? Are you an already good player but you want to further develop your skills? In these lessons, we will create a curriculum together, based on your wishes, needs and musical taste. Our goal is for you to be able to express yourself through your instrument. I will guide and help you to achieve this goal by providing the following classes: - Contrabass (Jazz and Classical and any other style) - Bass Guitar (Any modern style) - Music Theory - Solfeggio/ Ear training - Jazz Harmony All these classes can be taught seperately. Nevertheless, during our instrumental lesson we will cover a portion of the material of all the modules.
