Trusted teacher: Hello (future) musician! Do you also have a song in your head that you would like to play? Always wanted to play electric or acoustic guitar or bass guitar? Have you never touched a string, or are you advanced and looking for new challenges? I have been giving guitar lessons since 2007 with great pleasure. In addition to these private lessons, I worked at the Guitar Academy in Amsterdam, at Muziekles Den Bosch and at Art in Music in Utrecht, next to my work as an executive musician. I studied at the Rockacademie in Tilburg and Musicology at Utrecht University. Broad interests, reflected in the hoevelheid styles I play and education (from pop and rock to salsa, tango and gypsy to metal and jazz). I also give solfège and music theory. It does not matter how exotic your interest, I can help you get better! In addition, I can choose and arrange songs for you, so that there is no limit to your imagination: learn to play what you want to learn to play. These lessons are not given in a large, impersonal music school: lesson duration and lesson dates are discussed and are flexible. Personal and smooth, easier for everyone. Besides guitar enthusiast teaching is a big passion of mine, and I think that is essential to be able to offer good lessons. Whether I teach you how to play your first songs in a few lessons, or whether we are going to pick up some tough pieces, it is a pleasant and productive learning process. Lessons in Wittevrouwen, Utrecht or at extra cost at home. If you have questions, mail or call!

The lessons are designed specifically to meet your needs as a musician. Whether you are starting with the basics of the instrument, or whether you have enough experience and you would like to deepen your knowledge of the instrument to communicate though different musical manners, I would gladly like to help you reach your full musical potential. I have been involved with music education as a music teacher and music teaching researcher. I have experience with children, young students and adults in setups like private lessons, schools, music schools and universities. From pop, latin, rock, jazz, funk, metal and everything in between. Whatever genre you identify yourself with, I can help you to improve. E-Bass / Harmony All the way from incorporating rhythm and being one with the groove, to understanding the harmony through your instrument, the bass, as an extension of your musical voice is a rich an potent tool that can be used and controlled through refining your technique, role understanding and starting a journey through it's endless sound possibilities. Guitar for Beginners I can help you out starting on the guitar. Start learning the guitar with a very intuitive and practical approach, take on the rudiments directly from songs and the music you enjoy listening. Band Coaching If you have reached a point where you would like to take the next step with your band, it is always good to have an outsider opinion to help you improve in your musical, song writing and performing processes. Then to count with a great consultant in the management and logistics department is the second step in order to have a strong standpoint as a performing artist. Music Theory I have experience at bachelor level with popular music and jazz ear training, academic research for the Javeriana university in Bogotá about the use of the ear and playing by ear in folclore contexts in Colombia.

Trusted teacher: Basles in Rotterdam Inspiring bass guitar lessons and double bass lessons Learn to play music smoothly and well with your bass, at your time, level and style of choice. Learn about relaxing bass, understanding chords, playing and making oneself, easy learning to read notes and rhythms, using scales in your improvisations. Practicing is at your level and music style of choice: Jazz - pop - blues - world music - classical ironing and others Here are some reviews of some students Bob Horváth Meanwhile, Luc has been teaching at Luc in Rotterdam for about three-quarters of a year, both on the double bass and on the bass guitar. My experience with Luc is very positive. It fits seamlessly with the level where you are a musician and offers the right challenges at that level. The lessons are always interactive and never rigid. I have been making music for years, but at a certain point I came to a level where I seemed to be running into a sort of ceiling. I did not get better. Now I am effectively working to demolish that ceiling with the help [of Luc! Very inspiring learning environment! " D. Van Lammeren "I've been playing oboe for years at a high amateur level, and started on the double bass a few years ago, with a lesson from Luc, I really want to learn it, and that's fine with Luc. I wanted classic ironing and pizzing, but also playing in a band. Luc is at home from all markets, he excels in different styles. Moreover, he understands how difficult it is when you just start, and can well transfer how you can master it. In addition, he can tell enthusiastically about the world of the double bass and the bass player, which was completely new to me. Luc always knows how to hook up with what I need in my orchestras and band, and at the same time to build step by step. So I have a lot of lessons, and it remains challenging and especially fun. "

Hello! My name is José and I am a bass player from Santiago, Chile. As a Latin-American musician I grew up immersed in a wide range of styles and rhythms, listening to music coming from the US and Europe, as well as all the local music from the continent. In this way, I developed myself through playing diverse styles such as jazz, rock, pop, funk, hip-hop, samba and salsa. Being versatile has given me the opportunity to play with people from different cultures and, regardless of the styles I have played, there is always this magic and thrill that brings me tremendous joy when playing my instrument, this is something I love about music and that I feel passionate to transmit when teaching music. Either working on the fundamentals of technique or music theory, or developing a more advanced playing in different styles and contexts, I always strive to bring insight and understanding over our music practice, I believe this is a key factor in being able to connect with our creativity in a practical way. Normally, a lesson would be part of a cycle of lessons, involving a strategy specially adapted to the student's needs, enabling them to grow in specific areas of their music practice. Therefore, it is a holistic method which aims to connect the intellectual, physical, emotional and social areas of the student and to put them into practice when performing a repertoire, which is usually the goal set for our lessons. You are invited to book a trial lesson with 50% off. Hope to see you soon at our first lesson. Looking forward to playing with you, José

After learning bass a for while on my own I decided to get more structure and Rita is perfect for that! She quickly taught me a lot of useful techniques and she gives precise feedback.
