The knowledge of music theory is not required, some notions will be mentioned in class or more if affinity. Your advantages: - a pedagogy that takes into account your expectations, your level and your availability - a fléxible professor, listening, who can move home (specific pricing for large distances) I studied in Paris in current music, classical and jazz in different conservatories, I graduated from DEM jazz and Fneijma certificate. The viola, brother instrument of the violin and the cello offers a rich palette of colors and a warm sound that we will learn to develop together. Instrumental practice is central, but we can also make some theoretical digressions (history of music, music theory, etc.) if necessary and according to the wishes of the student. Start by learning healthy posture to produce full, controlled sounds. Learn the notes on the instrument while reading the score. Play in pizzicato then arco to feel the individuality of each hand. Work on both technique and musicality to be able to play pieces adapted to the level of the student and above all have fun in music! If the student has suggestions for songs or special requests, I remain open to proposals!

As a Master’s student in medical biology, I have been playing piano and guitar for 18 years. I can explain to you the musical theory that allows you to understand a piece on which you want to improvise or to understand the idea behind the composition of a piece. I can find you the chords of any song or piece and I have examples of songs whose chords search is particularly interesting. I can teach you classical music and jazz. I use a piano that provides an automated and complete accompaniment, that is to say that we can play as with a band with a drummer and musicians of any style. This is very convenient. I also have recordings of impro funk or hip-hop patterns that are what you might call "fire" to learn to improvise with pleasure. I took classes at the school of jazz and current music for about ten years and had some bands, concerts and jams at the university. I was also a member of the Lausanne University Choir. For many years, I made self-taught classical music in parallel with jazz lessons.

I propose cello lessons for all ages, all levels, and all walks of life: Whether you are already in a conservatory course, as a tutor, and to help you prepare your competitions. Or if you chose this beautiful instrument from 7 to 77 years, to address classical repertoires, jazz, rock, be able to improvise ... etc My teaching is based on the listening of the student, in order to transmit to him techniques and solid knowledge, in the pleasure of the music. The teaching of music theory can be done separately, with a very playful approach, or be integrated into the learning of the instrument!
