About Me

I am an enthusiastic person loving music and meeting new people. I´ve already had over 40 students - children or adults - and many of them feel like a family to me.

I have a methodology I use in my classes but I always try to find an approach suitable to the person.

After a couple of years as a pianist in hotels and cafés in Canary Islands and in Prague I found out it makes me really happy also to teach others, and for the last four years it's been my main occupation.
I have a lot of experience with children (6y +), teenagers and adults of all age.

I am an accomplished classical pianist and experienced teacher who offers you piano lessons, at all levels from beginner to advanced, for fun or for serious ones (preparation for competitions, auditions, exams, etc.).

I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Montreal (Canada) and am also pursuing a second Master's degree at the HEM in Geneva. I also have another Master's degree from the first institution as well as a diploma in performance. My doctoral research focuses on the neuropsychology of music learning and its applications in performance.

I had the pleasure of playing with orchestras and as a soloist at festivals in Canada, Germany, Austria, Spain and Switzerland, as well as being the winner of several competitions and the recipient of numerous awards.

I have more than 15 years of experience as an interpreter and pedagogue (even at university level as a lecturer). I am very dedicated to my students and I offer you dynamic, personalized courses to meet the particular needs of each person.

I have been teaching violin for 2 years, I work with children and with adults. And for me, it's very interesting - to share my passion and love for music with other people. I really want to help and teach each person because I think music is very important to all of us.
Together, we can learn various techniques, enrich our knowledge of music and choose a repertoire you like.

The 5 string banjo is an amazing instrument. It's driving trademark sound and it's African roots has contributed to many music traditions, including Country, Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz and world music.

In my class you'll first learn the basics, how to hold and pick and read tablatures. We'll then go through how to play a tune, accompany other instruments and finally, improvise. During the year I'll teach you basic music theory like rhythm, harmony and a bit of ear training to help you develop your understanding and relationship to the instrument.

We'll mainly play Bluegrass Scruggs style at first, then we'll dive into melodic style and sigle string, that will all be useful for playing other kinds of music, like Irish music, Pop, Jazz or Blues. I am now a bachelor's student in opera singing and piano at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne since September 2020. In parallel with my studies, I have always enjoyed sharing what I myself have the chance to continue to learn, so much so that I have been giving private piano lessons for 3 years.
