With careful, step-by-step guidance and attention to alignment, this session is designed to help you: ✨ Release tension ✨ Reconnect with your breath ✨ Feel grounded and calm ✨ Improve your focus through mindful movement ❓Is Hatha Yoga for Me? If you're looking for a calm, unhurried class that helps you listen to your body, yes—this is for you. Hatha Yoga is practiced slowly, with an emphasis on alignment and awareness. This style is especially supportive for beginners and anyone who wants to build a safer, more intentional practice. You’ll learn to move with mindfulness, which not only prevents injury but also sharpens your concentration and connects you to your inner stillness.dent said after class, “It felt like my spine could breathe again. 🌿 About Myself Hi, I'm Daphne — a passionate yogini, certified RYT 200 since 2016. My background is in Hatha yoga, and these days, I'm deeply immersed in the alignment-focused practice of Iyengar yoga. I offer online/offline yoga classes that are gentle yet powerful, focusing on precision, posture, and healing. I’m Austrian, grew up in Japan, and now live in Malta with my two young children. I speak English, German, and Japanese. Daily meditation (Triratna style) is an essential part of my life and deeply influences my teaching. I believe yoga is a journey inward, not a performance. 🌿 My Journey with Yoga I discovered yoga not once, but twice — each time in a way that transformed my life. 🧭 The First Discovery — Yoga as a Way of Life In my late twenties, while backpacking through North India, I found myself in Rishikesh — not knowing it was one of the world’s most sacred places for yoga. There, I trained with inspiring teachers in Hatha and Iyengar yoga, including Ashish Sharma. I joined a retreat at the Yoga-Gang Centre in Old Rajpur, and for the first time, truly understood yoga as more than physical movement — it was a philosophical, mindful approach to life. 🩺 The Second Discovery — Yoga as Healing Years later, after giving birth, I suffered from intense postnatal back pain. I couldn’t even do basic poses. After seeing a chiropractor, I slowly returned to my mat. With consistent Iyengar practice, within a few months, my pain was gone. This experience showed me the therapeutic power of yoga — how it can heal and restore the body from within.

Trusted teacher: My personal goal is to share the experience of "health, happiness, and harmony in life through yoga" (Swami Niranjanananda's guideline) with others. I firmly believe that yoga is a powerful tool to promote physical and mental well-being, find inner peace, and lead a balanced life. This philosophy flows into my teaching and inspires my students to begin their own journey towards greater well-being and harmony. After practicing yoga intensively since 2008, both in Satyananda ashrams in Greece and India, as well as daily as a personal sadhana, and initiated in Karma Sannyasa by Swami Satyasangananda Saraswati, my heart has been even more dedicated to the Satyananda system of yoga. My yogic name (Sannyasin) reflects my deep connection to this tradition. My commitment to yoga is also evident in my continuous education. Since 2008, I have been participating in numerous yoga and meditation workshops and seminars in Europe and India. In 2024, I successfully completed my Yoga Alliance training in Vienna, further refining my skills as a yoga teacher. For the past year, I have been teaching yoga privately to adults, gaining valuable experience in imparting yoga practices. My passion for yoga, coupled with my musical background, allows me to create unique and inspiring yoga classes. My academic career includes a Master's degree in Musicology with a specialization in Music Education, as well as various Bachelor's degrees in Classical Piano, Opera Singing, Music Composition, and Theory. As a flutist and passionate kirtan singer, I bring a special musical touch to the yoga practice. A special advantage is my ability to teach yoga primarily in English and Greek. These language skills allow me to reach a wide range of students and offer international classes. As a yoga teacher, I pass on my knowledge as follows: -Creating an inviting atmosphere -Structure of the lesson: Starting with mantras chanting, asanas, pranayamas, relaxation (Satyananda System of Yoga) -Clear guidance and demonstration when necessary -Addressing students individually -Conveying yoga philosophy -Motivating and inspiring -Being authentic and leading by example -Open to questions and feedback

Trusted teacher: Hey yogis! I'm currently living in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. If you found yourself staying in this beautiful town or live here permanently, I invite you to try a class with me. If you're somewhere else in the world, looking for an online yoga experience, feel free to contact me. I am a certified Yoga Vinyasa and Yin Yoga instructor. I obtained a certificate of a 200-hour Yoga Vinyasa teaching training and a 50-hour Yin Yoga teacher training accredited by Yoga Allience. I also completed Yoga Vinyasa teacher training according to Basia Łukaszczyk's original program and participated in yoga workshops. Currently, I finished 40-hour Yoga Nidra teacher training. To learn more about my education and working experience you can visit my profile. My favourite styles of yoga are Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and everything in-between. I always create classes based on your needs and wishes. Yoga Vinyasa is a dynamic practice in which breath guides the movement. We will mainly focus on standing and sitting asanas and flowing transitions. This practice warms up the body, strengthens and stretches it. By concentrating on the breath it allows you to rest from the racing thoughts and emotions. Yin Yoga affects deep tissues, including tendons and fascia. It is a static practice in which we stay in deep stretching positions for extended periods of time which allows to increase mobility and range of motion in the joints. In this stillness we devote ourselves to inner work - directing the breath to places that need it the most and observing and calming our thoughts. Yoga Nidra is a magical experience of building the sensation of wholeness within you. It will relax you, may also activate emotions which have been living within you for some time. In Yoga Nidra classes you stay in Savasana or sitting position and follow my voice. Classes include body scanning, breathing technics and visualizations. We try to relax you and at the same time work with traumas, anxiety and other challenging states and feelings. If you are still interested, let me know and we will try to create a nice experience for you! Monika
