Trusted teacher: My lessons are flexible and I adapt to your needs I feel the abilities and needs of my students, and I adapt my sequences accordingly. Generally, my classes are dynamic and invigorating. I work with the breath, and the student will find that a strong connection between their body and mind is accessible with sustained and conscientious practice. I would also do an inventory after a few sessions which will stimulate you to progress smoothly. My classes will focus on toning your body. In doing so, you will be able in particular to straighten your posture (spine), you could refine your silhouette, soften your hips, etc. After a few regular classes, you will be fit, enthusiastic, open and positive. Yoga promotes moderation and wisdom. My goal is to meet your expectations and offer you a pleasant time at home, or in a group (as in a company). I gave daily classes every weeks for the last two years. Trusted teacher: A Yin yoga class usually consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues.Connective tissue responds best to a slow, steady load. If you gently stretch connective tissue by holding a yin pose for a long time, the body will respond by making them a little longer and stronger – which is exactly what you want. Remember the principle of the exercise is to stress the tissue so the body will respond by strengthening it. BENEFITS OF A REGULAR PRACTICE Increases circulation and improves flexibility Calms and balances the mind and body Reduces stress and anxiety Releases fascia Encourages deeper relaxation Improves joint mobility Brings balance to the organs through meridian stimulation FOUR MAIN PRINCIPLES TO REMEMBER WHEN PRACTICING YIN YOGA Find an appropriate edge: Move slowly and gently into the pose, and look for an appropriate amount of intensity, never stretch so far as to cause pain. Stillness: consciously try to release into the pose, and to remain still, without shifting position. Hold the position: begin by holding for 1-3 minutes gradually progressing to 5 minutes or more. Come out of the pose gently and slowly.

When we are unwell it is because some parts of us is not vibrating harmoniously with itself, or surroundings. Sound therapy restores the healthy frequency. Trusted teacher: Yoga is an often misunderstood and misapplied practice. Its universe is vast and I do not claim to comprehend it fully. Personally it is a practice for me to calm myself down and reward my body when agonised. The class will be structured around the student. Flexibility and strength are not requirements but benefits of a regular, dedicated, and committed practice. Depending on the student and the day the class may focus on holding poses, or sequencing them. This class will be useful to both myself and the student to learn more about our anatomy, as well as our nature. Yoga has been a part of my life since its beginning. I was born in India and studied in an Indian school where it was a regular practice for students. I look forward to a strong personal connection with my student where we take it easy or go crazy as the day calls. I like to explain things to people in a language they and their body understand. Yoga is not something that can be scheduled for 2 hours and forgotten about for the rest of the 22 hours. Eventually I foresee long term changes in the student's lifestyle. For example, what you eat during the day will affect greatly your practice in the night. All in all, my class will take an organic and personal system.
If you want to learn more about the practice of yoga or you just need some classes to relive stress and give your mind and body a moment, I'm more than happy to share my yoga knowledge with you. I have been practicing yoga for a few years and did my yoga teacher training course in India. When I teach my purpose is more then just the positions, it is to turn inward, to find inner peace and to be able to apply it into your daily life. A class will consist of a deep stretch, some Pranayam and ending with some visualization.

Trusted teacher: training: Viniyoga - with Philip Rigo - MITRA asbl, in progress (recognized by the Belgian Yoga Federation (FBHY), the Krishnamacharya Healing & Yoga Foundation (KHYF) and ADEPS) - (500h YTTC) Yin Yoga - with Joe Barnett - Sampoorna Yoga studio, 2018/2019 - (70h YTTC) Yoga for children - with Catherine Nozeret - Ajna Yoga, 2017/2018 (recognized by the Ganapati committee and the French-speaking Belgian Association of Teachers and Practitioners of Yoga (ABEPY)) Hatha Yoga - Center International Arantha Yoga - Netherlands, 2016 (recognized by the Yoga Alliance and the International Yoga Federation) - (200h YTTC) Bachelor of Philosophy - University of East Anglia, UK, 2000 - 2003 Passionate about classical and contemporary dance since my childhood, graduate in philosophy and practitioner of Vipassana meditation, it is natural that yoga took a very important place in my life fifteen years ago. The discovery of yoga allowed me to overcome life's obstacles more easily and calmly. Yoga has transformed the way I look at myself and life in general. It brought so many positive changes to me, both physically and emotionally, that I wanted to share and share this wonderful gift. This is the reason why I took a Hatha yoga teaching training at the International Arantha Yoga Center in the Netherlands in 2016. Yoga is an integral part of my life. I have been teaching it since January 2017. This discipline being very rich, I continue to train myself by following various courses and internships with renowned teachers and I practice it almost daily. Because being a yoga teacher means being a student for life ... My training in teaching Yin yoga (yoga inspired by Chinese medicine) with Joe Barnett (student of Paul Grilley, founder of Yin yoga) made me discover a completely new facet of yoga. This gentle notion of yoga made me want to explore this ancient practice even more and that's why I decided to embark on a new training course to teach Viniyoga with Philip Rigo in Brussels in September 2019. Viniyoga is a concept of classical yoga which means “just application to practice”. It is a gentle approach to Hatha yoga developed by Krishnamacharya and then by his son TKV Desikachar. “It is yoga that adapts to the student and not the student that adapts to yoga”. This notion implies that yoga is open to everyone. It totally corresponds to my vision of yoga because I take care to adapt my classes to the morphology, physiology and the level of each one. Convinced that yoga brings as many benefits to children as it does to adults, I trained as a yoga teacher for children at Catherine Nozeret in 2017/2018. I have been teaching yoga to children since September 2018.
