Your kind words and detailed feedback mean the world to me and encourage me to continue sharing my passion for music. - About the Negative Comment - Regarding the only negative review: The student in question missed their first class due to sleeping in. Despite the platform's policy stating that no refunds are given for unannounced absences, I offered to provide a free replacement class at my earliest availability after the busy holiday season. Unfortunately, the student declined the date I proposed and suggested days that were outside my schedule. I had to suspend communication due to other commitments. On the initially proposed date—which had not been confirmed—the student expected a class and subsequently left a negative review. As a courtesy, I even refunded part of the fees (except for the non-refundable registration fee). - My Commitment and My Expectations - I am committed to providing high-quality lessons at an affordable price, supported by my professional experience and access to a new Yamaha YUS5 piano. My goal is to make music accessible to those who love it. In return, I ask that students respect my time and effort by adhering to agreed-upon schedules and communication practices. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Sacha - Paris48€
Trusted teacher: Hello everyone, My name is Sacha, I am a 32 year old professional drummer. I am endorsed by Soultone Cymbals (USA) and Agner Drumsticks (Switzerland). I started drums at the Dante Agostini school, I stayed there for four years and then I studied jazz drums at the conservatory for three years. I have been giving lessons for almost ten years now because I have always loved teaching and sharing my experience! I am currently part of several groups: ABRAHMA (stoner/doom), DELIVERANCE (post black/sludge) we were notably at Hellfest 2022 on the Valley stage and Temple and Le Cha (pop/funk in French). I was also the touring drummer at the end of 2023/2024 for the band AL QASAR (many international dates including WOMAD 2024 in Australia and Sziget in Hungary in 2023) I have rather rock/metal oriented influences, I was part of the group Sweat and Tears for four years with more than five hours of repertoire, resident at the Temple Rock Tavern (formerly Guinness Tavern). I also have experience in events with jazz bands (covers of standards) and jazz/funk with brass section (Stevie Wonder, Incognito, Jamiroquai, new JB's, etc.) I give lessons in the HF studios of the 9th and 14th so that students can learn directly on an acoustic drum kit, which is very important to me. The course is adapted to the student's level and desires, the goal being to allow him to be autonomous on the instrument as quickly as possible by teaching him the technical and reading basics. My method is inspired by the Agostini method but focuses more on learning pieces.

Cécile - Bagnolet66€
Trusted teacher: Singing lessons and vocal coaching online or at the singing teacher (M° Gallieni Line 3). I am a vocal coach at Cours Florent for 7 years, also coach for the shows of Disneyland Paris and also at the Conservatoire de Paris 7th, as well as in private classes (pros or amateur). State graduate (diploma of vocal trainer from Richard Cross School). Trained in the Joe Estill Voice training method (Quebec), I also attended singing classes with Nicole Falien, Julia Pelaez, Joy Kane and Christiane Legrand. Coach in French and English of various professional or amateur artists for more than ten years (all styles, from rap to "Musical", from song to electronics and everything related to current music, recently I coached a lyrical artist "lead" of the musical "La petite boutique des horreurs" at the Opéra comique this season). My classes are for all: singers and/ or musicians, professional or amateur singers-composers, preparations for auditions/ castings, recordings in studio, coaching of groups in play, artists in studio, all ages all styles welcome! ) Work of the voice in all current musical repertoires except lyrical. I accompany you to the piano, where we can work on your instruments, various accompaniments, karaoke. Welcome rap (I have more and more rappers/slammers, we do important work on the flow, the projection, the installation of breaths, rhythmic adjustments, intelligibility of the text etc.) all work easily when we know how and when we want to evolve ! Being also singer-songwriter and pianist, I can help you develop your compositions, your songs, place the tonic accents where it is necessary, teach you to accompany yourself on the piano itself:-) work on the interpretation of songs of course. Prepare your studio sessions (and/or accompany you if necessary), before your concerts, rehearsals...Give you the tips to not get tired, and know how to repair your voice when you have pushed too much, and especially teach you to project your voice without hurting yourself, etc. In short, to provide you with solid and indispensable bases to sing healthily (without getting hurt!) and freely! For distance courses (if you prefer, I do it regularly, especially since two years, and also with my students abroad), as long as you have a computer, it’s gone (or at worst a smartphone)! In short, I will tell you everything you need to know to release your voice! The difference between «vocal coaching» and «singing lessons» is that I take the singer, the actor the actress, the rapper(s) in the vocal state in which he/she arrives, and I take him/her and take him/her where he/she wants to go, with the repertoire you choose, which can be yours (songwriter), or the one you choose or that I can help you choose according to your range and your musical tastes of course. I do "with" you, with what you are, with what you bring me as "raw material"! There is always something to do to move forward, no matter what your starting level! :) It can also be just a moment for you, just for the pleasure of singing, whatever you want! Singing is life! ;-)

David - Romainville29€
Trusted teacher: Whether you are a beginner or experienced, the chain of an artistic, creative project requires certain knowledge and I am here to fill in the gaps. To guide you, inform you, support you in your creation. Today, you can do everything with a computer, from simple models to ultra-slick professional production. There are tips, tricks, a specific way of working for each project, which many do not know. I am here to teach you from A to Z all the techniques, basic and/or advanced, of this wonderful creation, sound design and production software, which is Ableton Live. I have worked extensively with Ableton Live for over 20 years. I have been a professional musician and producer for over 20 years with several tours and albums under my belt. I want to share my knowledge with those who have the desire to learn. Or simply tickle the music lover in you, but also awaken the youngest musically. From beginner to advanced, there is always, at some point, the need for outside help. And that’s where I come in! I don't have a pre-established lesson plan, I adapt to each student. It is very scalable, depending on the abilities of each person. Some examples of points that we could understand: - initiation via Ableton Live. Help with making a song, a groove, a mix. - Save these own creations... - Know tips to work in better conditions. - Creation and explanation of a template / working model which will facilitate your task, afterwards. - What are plugins? - ITB Mixer (Into the Box). - Sound design / sound design work. - Create your own sounds, work, compose with external machines... - I help you create your own effects and instrument racks. -An introduction to MaxForLive is also possible. Do not hesitate to contact me for more information, see you soon!

Trusted teacher: Former student of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, editor-in-chief of the magazine Avant-Scène Opéra, editor for the Philharmonie du Luxembourg, I offer you the following lessons. Music theory and musical culture are essential tools for understanding and making music. Music theory, because it allows you to master the technical tools that allow you to make music, is fundamental for anyone who wants to progress in their instrument. Musical culture makes it possible to understand what goes on in music beyond the technique. From this knowledge (established over a lot of listening) we can develop an interpretation and go beyond technical issues. For music theory lessons only, I constantly articulate the different musical parameters (rhythm, intonation, ear, etc.) and draw my training from the repertoire, which has the advantage of making music from the start. Small technical exercises also allow you to focus on one or the other parameter, but the perspective remains mainly that of a global approach placing the music at the center. As far as musical culture is concerned, I use each of my professional experiences (Musicologist, playwright and music critic) to transmit my knowledge to you. Thus we will approach the history of music through works (history of forms and languages), interpretation and places of music. It is mainly through the study of documents (texts of musical criticism, iconography, scores, musical instruments...) that transmission takes place. Knowledge completes and informs this documentary study. Finally the study of document and the erudition have only one goal: to enlighten the listening of the works which I place at the heart of my teaching.

Emmanuelle - Paris60€
Trusted teacher: I am a professional lyric soprano graduated from the CNSM of Lyon. I participate in productions with the Concert d'Astrée, the Choir of Namur, Accentus, the Opéra National de Lorraine, Choir de la Chapelle Harmonique. I am also on the lists of the Montpellier Opera, Concert Spirituel, Ensemble Correspondances and Radio France choir. I have just finished a production of Haydn's Die Schöpfung at the Opéra National de Lorraine last January-February, conducted by Marta Gardolinska (Guillaume Fauchère choir director), directed by Kevin Barz. I sang solo and in chorus the role of the Trojan woman in Campra's Idomenée in 2021 at the Lille Opera and the Berlin Staatsoper, staging of the fura dels baus, I also sang the solo of Campra's Requiem at the philharmonies of Luxembourg, Lille, Essen Cologne and Berlin with the Concert d'Astrée in 2019 directed by Emmanuelle Haïm. In 2019, I participated in the production of Les Indes Galantes by Rameau with the Namur Choir at the Opera Bastille, directed by Leonardo Garcia Alarcon and directed by Clement Cogitore. In 2022, I participated in numerous productions, notably with the Accentus choir in Beethoven's 9th symphony, the missa solemnis or even a polyphonic baroque project. In 2022 I participated in the production of Hulda by Cesar Franck with the Namur Choir at the Grand Manège de Namur, the Liège Philharmonic and the Théatre des Champs Elysées. My background as well as my skills in lyrical singing allow me to master my instrument well. I am a very curious and very patient person, and I like to find solutions to problems. Transmitting my passion to students wishing to discover or develop their voices, discover their artistic personality would be a great pleasure for me. If I can transmit this joy that I have from singing as well as my acquired knowledge, it would be a great exploration for them as for me.

First, she is an excellent musician. Second she is a patient, and an understanding teacher, who by nature is going to try to do her best to help you out. You feel confident with her and you know you are not going to be humiliated and belittled. She is there to support you. After two years of learning music with Pr Yantong Lin, I can hardly imagine how much she "enriched my life". She made me discover the beauty and subtlety of the music. She made me think musically and not just play notes, and made me discover the "intellectual fondation and beauty of music" that is harmony. A new undiscovered world has been opened wide in front of me! Thank you Pr Yantong for your musical and teaching talents. Professeur à absolument découvrir et suivre!

My private violin lesson with Ester was absolutely perfect. I had a privilege to hear Ester play her violin and she is so good- it is crazy to think I was able to learn from her. She is also such a good teacher. Full of knowlege and patience- which is, in my opinion, a rare combination. I had no prior musical education and this was my first real music lesson. Ester managed to teach me basic note reading, correct violin holding and even playing my first tunes. Her explainations are very clear and easy to understand. And her approach is very friendly. She is also a very nice person and easy to talk to. I wish we lived in the same city so I could keep studying playing violin with Ester- that's how good she is. Lidia

Rob is fantastic - warm, engaging, and patient. My 10-year-old son has been taking a weekly class with Rob for the entire school year. Rob is very responsive and communicative, so scheduling and other logistics have been smooth. He incorporates my son's interests into the lessons while building foundational skills. Rob has helped my son grow as a musician and, perhaps most importantly, maintain an enthusiasm for the process.
