Trusted teacher: Hello, I am a specialized composer guitarist (classical, folk dreadnote, electric bodies and jazz) and guitar teacher in Nantes and around (St Nazaire). Course location: At home or at the student's place (to be assessed together). I am a self-taught musician with more than 25 years of experience (national and various scenes as well as studio guitarist). This course adapts to the demand to the extent of the student's involvement (all levels). - Approach and installation of pieces of the student's choice (International variety, folk, rock, jazz ...). - Installation of rock or Blues riffs. - Method of learning the neck: Octaves/ The major scale applied to 15 tones by succession of ascending fourths and descending fifths or cycle of fifths/ complete cycle of the order of flats and sharps. - Work on scales: Pentatonic, Arpeggios (intervals)/modes, scales with limited transpositions (chromatic, unitonic, symmetrical). - Work with metronome (different uses) = for non-beginner students. - Introduction to music theory and development. - Initiation and work on classical works (ancient and contemporary music). - Discovery of Jazz and contemporary standards. - Work in classic position with “Ergoplay” (recommended). I am particularly attached to trying to untie what prevents the student from playing or developing. I am therefore used to preparing my lessons with personal work on the elevation of the state of life so as to be able to encompass that of the student and open together new capacities or perspectives of reciprocal listening. The development of the ear goes through a certain personal introspection that I try to awaken. In conclusion, what matters most to me is that the student leaves the course happier than at the beginning. Making you want to, targeted personal encouragement... Creation of values = development :)

Trusted teacher: Hello to you who came across my profile :) My name is Nathalie and I am a singing teacher, studio singer and artist. It's never easy to sing in front of someone, that's why I will accompany you with gentleness and kindness so that you can gain confidence in your voice and understand it. :) My teaching methods used are: Estill Voice Training – Complete Vocal Technique – Primal Sounds – Speech Level Singing. These are new and innovative teaching methods in France that are based on the science and anatomy of the vocal apparatus. My courses are generally divided into three parts: - During the 'stretching/movement' part, you can take the time to relax each part of the body that may be experiencing tension (jaw, tongue, neck muscles, larynx, shoulders, back, legs, etc.). These massages, stretches and movements will also allow you to anchor yourself in the present so that you can sing freely afterwards. Then, we will work together on your breathing and breath support with fun exercises adapted to your level. - During the vocal warm-up, first, I will show you closed-mouth exercises to gently awaken your voice (SOVT technique). Secondly, you will be able to work with me on the different vocal registers (low/chest voice – M1, head voice/high voice – M2). We will also work on the different vocal placements (belting, mixed voice, falsetto, 'cry'/curbing, primary sounds) as well as the opening of the resonators (oral, nasal, pharyngeal cavity) to explore your timbre. We will also explore the use of various effects (twang, audible air, vocal flip, vibrato, etc.) to color your voice. The anatomy of each technique will be rigorously explained so as not to cause vocal injuries. - Finally, we will work together on a song, and we will unleash the potential of your voice, your emotions and your artistic expression on it! Indeed, I give an important place in my classes to the expression of emotions, to letting go and to artistic and scenic identity beyond the purely technical aspect of the voice. I believe that vocal technique is simply the palette of colors that you can use to paint your own musical picture. I can't wait to meet you to start our lessons! :) Sincerely, Natalie

Trusted teacher: Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

Trusted teacher: My lessons are tailored to each student’s age, experience, and goals. Children (7–12 years) For younger students, lessons focus on building confidence while making learning fun. We begin with simple vocal warm-ups and ear training to develop pitch and intonation, then move on to singing their favourite songs, encouraging good vocal habits in an enjoyable way. Teenagers With teenage students, we start with more structured vocal warm-ups and exercises. As we discover their natural voice, we work on developing a comfortable vocal range, improving technique, and applying these skills through songs that suit their voice and interests. Students, adults and seniors For these students, lessons are usually divided into two parts. We begin with vocal technique, focusing on breathing, diaphragm support, scales, arpeggios, and intonation. We then apply these techniques through singing, helping you develop confidence, control, and healthy vocal habits. I also prepare students for the admission to conservatory. Every student learns at a different pace. Some may spend more time building a solid technical foundation before moving on to more challenging repertoire, and that’s perfectly fine. My priority is to ensure that every student feels comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their vocal journey. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from complete beginners to advanced singers. My classical training provides a strong technical foundation that can be applied to any musical style, whether you enjoy pop, musical theatre, jazz, rock, or classical singing. Whatever your age or experience, I’d love to help you discover and develop your voice. Let’s sing!

I had my first lesson today and I was immediately struck with the feeling that I am in the presence of a maestro in Piano playing, a professor in teaching and an extremely patient pedagogue. It was like Lydia knew me for years and instantaneously detected my strengths and my weaknesses in my piano playing and practice. I am an adult student and I highly recommend Lydia for all ages and all levels. An exceptional teacher that provides and exceptional lesson experience.

I've been thoroughly enjoying my online music lessons with Leandro. What stands out to me the most is his thoughtful approach and attention to detail in every aspect of each class and exercise. Leandro goes beyond just providing material; he teaches how to practice it effectively. I particularly appreciate the well-laid-out assignments he provides after each class, which help me stay focused and motivated.

As someone who loves singing it was very helpful in the very first lesson to begin to understand the muscles I need to use and the "spaces" I need to create to stabilise and improve my sound. I also felt she responded well to each question I raised, or issue she heard in the way I did the excercises. I look forward to future lessons.
