Trusted teacher: Transcendent Song: I teach through vocal activity and the practice of breath, my technical knowledge of vocal practice but also spiritual and energetic, which takes our singing into a broader dimension, in accordance with our deep aspirations. My teaching allows you to: - Develop body and sensory awareness; - Understand the mechanisms of breath and discover the expanded dimensions of this tool Open the dimension of singing to another level to express all its vocal potential in power and nuance by exploring all body spaces Welcome all the palettes of this vocal range, that is to say get out of judgment and fully accept yourself to allow yourself to express all your colors and vocal grains Discover the power of suggestion, openness, inking and the energetic dimension in singing Learn to trust yourself in exploration to express your inner truth and open the field of your intuition to associate it with your mind in consciousness Therapeutic work: My therapeutic work focuses on considering the being as a whole and therefore working on the different bodies, physical, emotional, psychic and subtle. I use different tools to carry out this energy work: Acupuncture by tuning fork: acupuncture is an alternative Chinese medicine based on the stimulation of specific points in a network of meridians. I do not use a needle for this purpose but therapeutic tuning forks to stimulate these areas using vibrations. This practice allows me to target my treatments to specific requests and to rebalance the entire energy circuit of the person. Singing, Tibetan bowls and drum Magnetism and channeling Spiritual teaching: My transcendental experiences and spiritual knowledge allow me today to teach spiritual practice, both at the physical level and in terms of mental understanding of the different phenomena, to accompany whoever wishes to discover themselves, to open up to openness. of conscience and intelligence of the heart. This involves meditation, the discovery of broader and more powerful breathing practices than we are taught, the learning of emotional, mental and bodily mastery, the discovery and teaching of energy practice, as well as access to little-understood and little-known spiritual knowledge. These teachings offer us openings of consciousness, understandings of our unconscious world, personal repairs and acceptance of our history, love of self and of everyone, and can also open the field of our subtle gifts, when we are ready, anchored and balanced.

Trusted teacher: I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard. My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student. Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you. A bit about me: Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. The video shown below is from my stint playing and directing 'After Midnight', a show set to the music of the Duke Ellington Big Band.

I had previously played some classical for a few years, but was looking to learn jazz piano and improvisation as well. For this David is ideal, as he studied both as a classical and jazz musician, and has a deep understanding of each. About half the lessons we focus on jazz improvisation. During the lessons I improvise over a few songs, and each session he gives feedback, while adding a new layer of difficulty. We've also worked a lot on rhythm, which has really helped me bridge the gap between classical and jazz. We spent a few lessons on classical pieces as well, to refine technique and musicality. My playing feels much more fluid and musical already, and he's really helpful/knowledgeable with the details. Also, on the weeks where I did have not had much time to practice, we do a more (jazz) theory oriented lesson, which has also helped alot with my improvisation. Overall, I only have positive things to say about the lessons! David is a very easy-going teacher, and from the first lesson I felt very comfortable asking him questions. He's very versatile as well, and easily adapts the lesson according to what suits us best that week.

Mary

Mary has been great in our interactions. At the moment, we are meeting twice a week for an hour each session. She started with a class in which we got to know each other and she listen to my goals. Then, she prepared exercises and lessons specially designed to help me reach those goals with practice and also prepared lessons to help me continue growing as a guitar player. Moreover, she goes often out of her way to get songs challenging to my level, but that are doable with enough practice. In all, I am enjoying quite a lot of our classes and I am always looking forward to them.

Stephen's lesson on harmony was just what I needed! I had a few specific questions to brush up on, and he explained everything super clearly and in a way that made it easy to apply to my work. He's knowledgeable and approachable—I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of music theory! Or if you're like me and need a quick refresh of all the things you forgot years ago from school 😅
