Recorder lessons and musical training for adults and children

Recorder lessons and musical training for adults and children

As an experienced music teacher, I offer recorder and music theory lessons for children and adults of all ages and skill levels! Originally from Brazil, I have been teaching music for several years. A graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I have extensive experience as a music teacher, having given private lessons and taught in music academies in Belgium and elsewhere. I develop a unique method for each student so that they can learn in a solid and enjoyable way. The recorder is an easy instrument to learn, making it a great opportunity for children to begin their musical journey. It provides an initial introduction to musical notation and helps develop their ear. I offer students a fun and dynamic learning experience, where music is made from the very first lesson. For adults... If you're a beginner, don't worry! I will teach you how to produce the first sounds on your new instrument, how to blow correctly, how to adopt a good posture, etc. I will help you build, step by step, a solid basic technique that will allow you to play any piece on the flute. If you are an advanced student or already possess a solid foundation in your instrument, I propose working on refining your technique, taking into account each repertoire. We will explore creativity and sound to produce an increasingly beautiful and eloquent musical expression. Lessons can take place at the student's home or the teacher's home in Forest. Travel expenses are negotiable depending on the distance. Feel free to contact me to discover this magnificent instrument! 🎶 Singing lessons with a mezzo-soprano - Master's degree graduate from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels

🎶 Singing lessons with a mezzo-soprano - Master's degree graduate from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels

I offer private lessons in opera singing and vocal coaching, tailored to your level, needs, and desires. 🎶 As a mezzo-soprano opera singer, I graduated with a Master's degree in opera singing from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I also completed a year of training at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome, where I deepened my vocal technique in Italian bel canto. My method is based on the techniques of operatic art, enriched by my years of training in Belgium and Italy as well as by my professional experience. 🎤 For all levels and all voices My courses are suitable for both beginners and experienced singers, in operatic singing as well as other styles: pop, variety, jazz, rock or spoken voice. Whether you wish to discover your voice, progress technically, gain confidence, prepare for an audition, an exam or simply enjoy singing, I offer personalized support according to your objectives. 🌿 A free voice begins with a relaxed body I pay particular attention to physical relaxation, breathing, and the prevention of vocal tension. My work with speech therapists specializing in voice has allowed me to deepen my understanding of the link between the body and the voice. I also completed training in polyvagal theory, which enriched my understanding of the links between breath, bodily sensations, and voice. Breathing, relaxation, and vibration exercises can therefore be integrated into the course to prepare the body and promote freer vocal expression. 🎶 Develop a natural and projected voice The goal is to find a natural projection of the voice, without forcing or creating unnecessary tension, by progressively working on the coordination between breathing, body and vocal production. Depending on your needs, we can work: - breathing and support - posture and body relaxation - vocal technique and placement - voice projection - diction and articulation - musicality and repertoire - Body expression and interpretation - preparation for auditions, exams and concerts 🎭 Theatre in service of the voice Alongside my musical training, I also have a background in theatre, particularly in the Stanislavski method. This approach allows me to explore voice and interpretation through the body, sensations, images, and intentions. These tools can be particularly useful for developing a freer, more expressive and personal voice, both in singing and speaking. ✨ My goal: to help you discover your vocal potential and find your own voice, through work that is technical, physical and artistic. Beginner, amateur, opera singer or simply curious to explore your voice: you are welcome! Feel free to contact me to discuss your goals and schedule your first lesson. 🎶

“ A really good flute teacher who sets interesting challenges to motivate practising the flute every day and independently. She also has plenty of up-to-date ideas combining different material sources (including digitals! top notch teacher with IT!) according to my needs and interests. She teaches me a lot of very useful tips for my level and I can hear a clear difference from a lesson to another. Yet, no miracle either: you must practice! But with the right instructions, she can help you pass obstacles you may have thought they were impossible to overcome. And playing the flute becomes a mere pleasure and joyful challenge! Besides, she never allows you to rest in your comfortable zone! There are always plenty of interesting and useful things to learn with great pleasure rather than with pain and stress! Thank you so much Malvina! Looking forward to our future lessons! ”

“ Absolutely stellar experience learning from Anton!! Having never taken a music class in my life and starting a new hobby at the age of 30, Anton was the perfect instructor to work with. He was patient, intuitive, and it was evident that he ENJOYED not only teaching but music and drumming itself. If you’re looking for an instructor who you can feel comfortable around learning something new, I highly recommend booking with Anton. 10/10 experience !! ”

“ If you would like to feel more confident in singing, improve the tone of your voice and learn some good (breathing) techniques, Vincent is the teacher to turn to. Vincent is an excellent and skilled teacher, who will take the time to tailor the lesson to your personal needs. I can highly recommend taking singing lessons with Vincent - aside from being professional, he is patient and empathetic. ”
