Violin lessons / Antwerp / beginners to advancedTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Violin lessons / Antwerp / beginners to advancedTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I am a Belgian violinist from the Ardennes, in Wallonia. I have participated in numerous masterclasses in Belgium and abroad with teachers such as Emile Lavrenov, Liesbeth Baelus, Sylvia Huang, Bartlomiej Ciaston, Andrzej Grudzien, Caroline Poncelet, Lilia Umnova, and Guido de Nève. Drawing inspiration from various examples and broadening my horizons are among my most important goals. In 2020, I started in the class of Marek Kowalski at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where I obtained my bachelor's degree three years later. After that, I studied for a year at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf in the class of Solenne Païdassi, before starting my master's at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Alexei Moshkov, with whom I am currently studying. I frequently participate in orchestral projects and tours, and also enjoy performing as a chamber musician at festivals and concerts of all kinds. I have made recordings with chamber music ensembles and orchestras, including for film music. I have also had the opportunity to perform as a soloist with an orchestra twice. I have recently started developing my teaching skills, which I find incredibly interesting! I enjoy every meeting with a new student, and it fascinates me to see the musical and personal development of each of them.

Learn to Sing with Feeling, Technique & ConfidenceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Learn to Sing with Feeling, Technique & ConfidenceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello, my name is Alyssa. I am a professional singer with over 18 years of experience as the lead vocalist of Postmen. I have performed on many stages and worked in numerous studio sessions, and music has been part of my life from a very young age. I started singing in church and later in a gospel choir, where I developed a strong foundation in feeling, expression and musicality. For me, singing has always been something natural and that is exactly what I want to help others discover in themselves. I am passionate about guiding people in finding their own voice. Not just technically, but emotionally and creatively. Many people think singing is only about hitting the right notes, but I believe it’s about connection, confidence and allowing yourself to be heard. My lessons are always tailored to your level, your goals and your personality. Whether you are just starting out or already have experience, I create a safe and supportive space where you can grow. We will work on: Vocal technique and breath control Confidence and letting go while singing Finding your unique sound and style Musical interpretation: understanding what a song needs Ad-libs, dynamics, falsetto and vocal expression Stage presence and performance mindset Voice care and healthy singing habits My lessons are for: Beginners who want to start singing in a relaxed way Intermediate singers who want more control and confidence Advanced singers or artists who want to refine their sound Anyone who feels there is “more” in their voice but doesn’t know how to reach it My coaching style is personal, intuitive and encouraging. I don’t believe in forcing a voice into a certain style. I want to help you discover what is already inside you and bring that out. I work with both adults and younger students and I adapt my teaching depending on what you need: structure, creativity, technique or confidence. I'm looking forward to meeting you! You can bring your own songs or work on suggested material Suitable for different styles (with a focus on soul, pop & expressive singing) Lessons available for hobby singers and more serious artists Available online or in person (if applicable)

Classical and Italian Mandolin Orchestra School in AntwerpTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Classical and Italian Mandolin Orchestra School in AntwerpTranslate this text using Google Translate.

We are starting a new orchestra school for adults at the beginner to low intermediate level. After a year or so the more advanced students may be ready to join the mandolin orchestra, 'La Napolitaine'. Classes will be held in the center of Antwerp, probably 7-8pm on Monday evening, and in English. The first two classes will operate through apprentices at the rate set by them. After this, if the student is accepted into the school, there the classes will be free. Space is very limited so students must be capable and dedicated! You will be learning an Italian-style technique and from the beginning will be playing in a group, sustaining a musical part, listening and interacting with others. The classes also emphasize developing sight-reading skills and ensuring that all students have the basics of music theory. Although it is not essential to be able to read standard notation at the start, you will need the patience to learn. You should either own your own instrument (for now mandolin or mandola, later also mandocello) or be able to rent one (recommendations provided). The class is intended for over-18s, and although there is no upper age limit, it is essential that students have hands in good condition with demonstrated fine motor skills. Our music will begin with simple exercises on single strings, and on to arrangements of folk tunes (mostly English and Italian) then to simplified 'classical' music, drawing on the (bowed) string orchestra repertoire as well as composed specifically for mandolin orchestra pieces. It will teach single-picking which emphasizes the rhythm, then the typical Italian tremolo technique to sustain the notes.

Singing lessons for beginners and singers with some experience - Singing lessons for beginners and singers with some experienceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

In the singing lesson we start with learning basic theory about mindset, breathing, breath support,... For students with some experience in singing we go more into different types of singing, for example head voice, mixed voice, emotions while singing, microphone techniques,... Do you want specific tips for e.g. performances, music choices,...? This is certainly possible! I will look with you at what your needs are and what you would like to learn. We're not just going to look at the voice but also at 'How do I stand on stage?' or 'How do I reduce stress?' So I'm also going to look at the mental and emotional aspects. I will help you further based on all my musical baggage that I am currently expanding myself! I am super excited to get started with you and further develop our singing voice together. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------- In the singing class we start by teaching basic theory about mindset, breathing, breath support,.... Songwriting course with intensive and result-oriented methodsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Songwriting course with intensive and result-oriented methodsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

SONGS generally consist of chord and text lines. But where does that information come from and how do you make something out of nothing? How do you make that one great hIT or how strongly does your new song affect your love? Well, that's called "inspiration processing" and how does that work? Well, I'll tell you that in my course. If you already play the guitar or piano, you are one step ahead. Your instrument is like a trampoline that offers you more options to go further and higher. Most 'songs' are born at the craziest moments. A good songwriter his / her antennas are always open :-) and for some it is a continuous activity. During my course I teach you through all sorts of tips and tricks (including: Travel Chord Duo Method - One Four Five and minor input - Key Word Designation and Relative Chord Progressions etc.) how you can achieve strong songs. For me it is a daily activity and I have been writing all my life for others and sometimes for myself. All in all I have sold more than a million copies worldwide as an author / composer / performer. Is that little or is that a lot? I do not know. It doesn't interest me that much anymore. I want to share my knowledge about how to write a song with motivated people who want to go further than just replaying others' songs. Whether they get stuck somewhere during composing and who are not afraid to seek advice. Music is a life flirt. There are only two types of music: good and bad ... Do you have a foundation of chords, do you want to know how to make a good song .....? Just book an hour to get started. That is the scan hour. Are we lying together and is there a click? If you book and I confirm, then you also know who I am and where I hide :-) Not satisfied after the first 'lesson'? Money Back. Danny

Ismael is an amazing teacher. He is very encouraging, supportive and quick to adjust to the needs of his students, while still being very attentive to proper technique, form, posture, musicality, etc. He is able to balance being friendly and being professional. Ismael is always punctual and regularly checks up on you during the week to send you reminders, sheet music, etc. I strongly recommend him as a viola teacher.

Very friendly and open, it was the first lesson, and i felt right at home. She was very patient and was even so kind as to lend me her cello to practice on. I can very much recommend it!

Love the passion that Shuya has for violin! Dedicated and genuine, I really enjoy listening to all the theories, and Shuya makes it fun and relaxing too! Top!
