I graduated from music institutes in Poland and the conservatories of Santa Cecilia and Rome and the one in Palermo. I have been teaching the violin to children, teenagers and adults of all ages for more than 20 years. My studio is located in the San Pietro area (near the San Pietro train station). Scientific research states that those who play the violin develop both cerebral hemispheres while normally only one develops. Furthermore, playing the violin can also offer various possibilities in life: perhaps you or yours no one knows yet. Call me just to find out more and I will give you all the information. Summing up what I offer are: VIOLIN LESSONS FOR CHILDREN, TEENAGERS AND ADULTS OF ALL AGES AND ALL LEVELS (Lessons can be held in Italian, Polish, English or German) Through practice on the instrument, supported by the use of educational books and repertoire pieces, the student begins the journey with the study of the bow, the sound, the use of the fingers, the reading of the notes on the staff, the position of the hand on the keyboard, the refinement of reading. The first structure and composition of the Violinstudio is perfect, with the melodies of the classical music starting ... For beginner students I offer my help in purchasing the suitable instrument and give all the notwendige advice on other things (shoulder rest, strings, rosin, music stand, etc.) to purchase. My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student. Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you. A bit about me: Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. Ewa is an excellent violin teacher, I would highly recommend her to anyone who may wish to learn the violin. I have studied a number of musical instruments, first at High School, and then as an extra-mural during University with a variety of teachers. I decided to take up violin as an adult. Ewa is, by far, one of the best music teachers I have worked with. She is patient, and has been excellent in explaining the importance of fundamentals. While I may be an absolute beginner it is easy to see how the fundamentals being taught will assist when more complex repertoire is attempted. She is also phenomenal at identifying which aspects of playing need focus an attention. It is evident that Ewa is a consummate professional and her wealth of experience is an asset to anyone trying to learn this notoriously complex instrument. I can also say that there is no issue in working by way of an online learning platform.
