Cours de violoncelle pour tous! / Cello lessons for everyone! / ¡Clases de Cello para todos! / Cellolessen voor iedereen!Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hello to everyone! My name is María, I am a Venezuelan Cellist. All my musical education was inside the musical program "El Sistema" in Venezuela. This education was based on preparing myself as a better human being though playing cello in orchestras, chamber music and as soloist. I am current studying my Master degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. In what consist my lessons? Cello classes for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced), it does not matter if you have never played cello before or if you are already studying, the important thing is to help you achieve the goals you want with this beautiful instrument. To have better results with practice, if it is necessary to help you with music theory, I will help you. As well, if you're looking for help in orchestral excerpts for auditions, I'm here for you! For kids, parental support is also important during some lesson, we are all a team and we need to work together to achieve the goals! Classes can be in person at your house or mine (BRUSSELS, BELGIUM) or via videocall (Skype, Zoom, etc). The schedules are planned according to the time of the student and the teacher. Looking forward to meeting you and work together! Maria.

Student at the Brussels Conservatory gives guitar and bass guitar lessonsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello, my name is Victor, I am 24 years old and I am currently a student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I play in different musical projects with artists such as Youssef Swatt's, Lena Deluxe, Bim Boom Bap... My teaching focuses on spontaneous and mainly oral learning of music. There is no need to know music theory. I will discuss some theoretical notions depending on what we are working on together, and your curiosity on this subject. I would emphasize listening, rhythm and playing in pairs. There will be part of the work devoted to instrumental technique (how to get a beautiful sound out of the instrument, how to play without getting tired or injured, what are the different ways of making a guitar/bass guitar sound depending on the style) , and the rest of the time we can work on pieces, tackle improvisation, group playing, composition, or other subjects depending on your requests. My musical journey: I am currently a student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in jazz and before that I spent 2 years at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Lille in jazz bass/double bass and classical double bass. I also graduated from EF2M in Tourcoing. I started music at the age of 8 with the piano, then I turned to the guitar at 12 and then to the electric bass at 16. When I entered the Lille Conservatory, I also took up the double bass. I practiced several styles: jazz, rock, blues, metal, classical, soul, funk, etc... and the fact of having played several instruments helps me to have a more global vision of music, and to find what is interesting in each of the styles. This openness I want to pass on in my classes. I have several years of stage experience with different projects, and I have also worked in the studio, notably with the house music artist Bellaire.

Solfège all levels / Musical Theory all levels admitedTranslate this text using Google Translate.

[ENGLISH, SEE BELOW] A music theory course for anyone who wants to start with a solid foundation in music, or for an already advanced musician who wants to go further. This course is also perfect for an academy or conservatory student who wishes to prepare for the music theory exam. Despite the fact that this is a so-called theoretical course, everything that is seen will first be worked on in a musical context and experienced by the student in order to be assimilated. The theoretical explanations will follow from it by itself. On the program (student's choice) - Ear training (knowing how to rewrite melodies with one or more voices, chords, etc.) - Note readings in one or more keys - Rhythm readings, polyrhythmic work - Encryption and recognition of agreements, - Transposition. This musical theory lesson suits to every level, from the one who wants to learn how to read music to the one who wants to know more about chords, transposition or polyrythms. This lesson is also perfect for a student who wants to prepare an examination. In despite the fact I called these lesson "Musical theory", it is firstly about understanding the music. And that can only be possible by ... doing music. So be aware that we will be singing, playing chords, clapping rhythms, ... My purpose is that the student understand by himself first, then the theory will come naturally. What we can do during a lesson (student can choose): - Ear training (Learn to catch a melody of one or several voices and write it down by ear, recognizing chords, recognizing rhythms, ...) - Rythmical work: learn to clap different rhythms in different time signatures. Also included polyrythms. - Key reading, in one or several keys. - Transposition (learn how to read a flute sheet while you're playing trumpet, ..)

I offer lessons of flute and recorder in three languages (French, English & Italian). If you are a big fun of art noveau buildings you can come to my house in Schaerbeek. Or if you leave too far, I can come to your place. My name is Matteo and I am an Italian flutist and musicologist, based in Brussels since 2010. I graduated in modern flute at 'B. I hold a PhD degree in music performance at Cardiff University, School of Music. From 2013 till 2015, I have been teaching at the Venice Conservatory "B. “ Louise is an exceptional singing teacher who combines warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care. She creates a comfortable environment from the start and adapts seamlessly to your level, whether you are a beginner or more advanced. Her approach is thoughtful and personalized, with well-structured exercises, relevant song suggestions, and effective breathing techniques that help you sing without straining your voice. She is also responsive, flexible, and easy to work with. Working with Louise has been a real pleasure, and she is highly recommended for anyone looking to develop their voice in a supportive and tailored way. ”

“ I am extremely pleased with the lessons Paula gaves. I feel extremely lucky to have met her and to be able to be taught by her. She is a very nice and kind person, very open and knows how to communicate well. She gives great advice, is really attentive, plays amazingly and every lesson with her is just pure joy. She really makes it easy and very understandable for everyone, even someone like me, who didn't know how to play violin at all. ”

“ An outstanding singer, teacher and just a beautiful human-being. When I first came in, I had not believed in my ability to sing, but the lessons with Arianna became so addicting that I don't wish to stop now! She created a safe space from day 1 and brought my voice out, helped me crack it and polish it afterwards :) The best first tutor I could've had! Merci! ”
