In the lesson the focus is on technique, speed, reading skills, coordination, all different styles and also what the student wants to play. If you are struggling with speed or if you are just starting to play, good technique is very important. Moreover, a badly learned technique is difficult to unlearn later. You will learn which type of drumsticks are most suitable, the assembly and tuning of your drum kit, the choice of heads and cymbals, etc. I can also help you with the purchase of new equipment. The lessons take place at the student's home.

Also this class will help you with improving your ear and melodical thinking. If you are a complete beginner and afraid of the fact that it won’t work - no stress, I give you a guarantee that you will play your first song after a 5th lesson! The Breath, it's the basis of everything we do, the source of life and the start of singing. I believe in a genre neutral method of breathing as a base of speaking and singing. No jazz, pop, musical or classical 'technique' but a natural method which taps into the natural strength of the body, which results in a huge window of opportunities. One can sing however, whichever and whenever one wants, unbound by genre defining methods and techniques. I strive for a utilisation of the whole of the body, just to produce sounds, which makes you more versatile with different genres and which results in a more durable voice.

I always take the students' fluency into account. I teach at beginner and intermediate levels. If you cannot read music, you will be taught step by step, after which I also give the students the opportunity to decide for themselves which pieces they like and want to learn to play. That's all possible. We also look at techniques and improvisations.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.
