As a professional violinist trained at the Frédéric Chopin College in Moscow, I was fortunate to also receive piano instruction there from exceptional teachers who passed on to me their passion for music and pedagogy. Today, I offer piano lessons for beginners, suitable for both children and adults. My lessons are based on a comprehensive approach: technique, note reading, music theory, ear training, and accompaniment. I tailor each lesson to the student's pace, desires, and level, in a motivating atmosphere. My goal is to help you progress while discovering the joy of playing and understanding music.

"The piano is an instrument that makes so many people dream! If only the brake of theory did not exist" in the course of conversations, I have often heard this sentence which puts me off. I am Thomas, a pianist student at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Liège where I am finishing my course. I started music far from Theory and solfège classes, by a method of my own, on which I worked quite a bit, in order to offer it to my students (I come from France where I had been teaching for 6 years alongside my studies). I proceed as follows: we first work on the ability to listen, and then we deduce the technical and/or theoretical concepts. music comes first and foremost through the spoken word! trained in classical, I have won international competitions, and have stage experience that allowed me to test my method!

I've been carrying my cello around since I was 6 years old. I started playing at the conservatory in Bastia, Corsica. At 18, I set off to discover the world of music: Nice, Paris, then Rennes, before finally settling in Liège, Belgium. Having fallen in love with my new home, I moved there and developed my musical and educational projects. Fascinated by the interconnectedness of the arts, I regularly work with theatre, circus, musical comedy, puppetry, etc. With a degree in pedagogy, passionate about teaching and to follow my pedagogical utopia, I created the MagnAttitude asbl structure which has more than 40 students. The goal is to support you in your project, whatever it may be. It's about adapting and tailoring to each individual's desires, while passing on the expertise of playing the cello.

Hello everyone, Playing the drums is, above all, about making music. It's all about dynamics and nuance. Knowing how to create space, listen to the music, and play it is what transforms a simple rhythm into an unforgettable groove. Let's work together to give your playing power, fluidity, and personality! Working on pieces and improvisations and working with clicks. We apply all of this quite quickly to pieces of music: but we also create our own breaks and grooves! We'll work together on your rhythmic placement, your subdivisions (eighth notes, sixteenth notes, triplets, shuffles... anything goes!) and your interpretation with a click track, because without a solid tempo, there's no magic. 💪 Method and Motivation: Whether you're a beginner or looking to take your drumming to the next level, I adapt to your skill level and goals. We'll work in a fun and supportive atmosphere, using effective exercises and backing tracks. Ready to get your drums rolling? Contact me to book your first lesson. ✅My teachers over the years: Dominique Hamet (Agostini method) primarily, but also Pierrick Destrebecq, Mariana Ramirez, and Sylvio Iascio. 🎧Groups I play or have played in (currently) Washed Kitten Past experience - Big Heart, Peter Kernel, Say What!?, McCandless, EE, ...I can't wait to get started! See you soon, Pierre

Hello and welcome ! Passionate about sharing music, I offer children and teenagers personalized guidance to discover or deepen their musical knowledge. As a professional musician with a Conservatory diploma (classical instrumental training and music theory), I bring to your children my experience of over five years in a music tutoring program, enriched by many years of teaching. It is a true joy to see my young students progress and flourish with each session! My goal is to offer your child a creative, adaptive, and stimulating teaching method. No prior knowledge of music theory is necessary: the theory is learned naturally, directly through instrumental practice. Each 60-minute session is designed to respect the student's pace and learning style. I continuously adjust the lesson based on your child's level of concentration and energy. A break of at least 5 minutes is included in each session to allow for gentle assimilation of concepts, discussion, and to maintain the enjoyment of learning without fatigue. Through engaging tools and varied materials, my teaching approach makes each lesson captivating and motivating. To foster your child's development throughout the year, we will work together to set goals tailored to their pace. You will benefit from clear tracking tools to monitor their progress, along with regular meetings to discuss their development. My role is to provide a safe and inspiring environment where they can develop their independence, technique, self-confidence, and artistic expression.

Live or Skype lessons. Graduated from a bachelor's degree in violin at the Liège conservatory, I am continuing this year with a didactic mater. I have been giving private lessons for 8 years. And since last year I also teach in non-profit organization. I intervened as reinforcement of academy teachers, as a tutor and as a trainer, as the first teacher. Then with adults, after a stop more or less consistent or just to achieve a dream. I was able to acquire during my studies, a great experience of orchestral musician. I teach children and adults of all levels. The courses are adapted according to the objectives and the tastes of each one. Music training can be approached to discover the basics or consolidate them. All the repertoires can be work: from the classical to the contemporary, passing the musics of films or the variety. I wish above all to discover and transmit my passion that is the violin. It is a beautiful instrument that requires rigor but that can be approached in joy and good mood.

You're in good hands! As a professional cellist for 14 years now, including as a member of major European and Australian opera and philharmonic orchestras, I welcome all students, from those picking up the instrument for the first time to those preparing for professional auditions. My primary aim in teaching is to create an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect in which students can draw motivation to set and accomplish their goals, with my full commitment towards helping them achieve those. Getting the foundations of good playing and good musicianship right is of course a very close and no less important second! During their journey, students can count on my patience, understanding and sympathy to help them through all challenges. I tailor my teaching style to fit all students based on their individual needs and wishes, or those of their parents if they're too young to decide for themselves. I'm determined to break the stereotype of teachers being failed performers and teach not only by demonstration, but by playing with students as an accompanist or duet partner, even with absolute beginners. If you're not sure exactly what you want out of lessons, or aren't sure where to begin, let's discuss and determine that together! Lessons take place at my place in Carré.

Hello and thank you for visiting this website! I'm an established, qualified, and experienced violin teacher who has worked in London for the last 26 years. I'm now back in Belgium for some new musical adventures, as well as to meet new students. I welcome students from the age of four to adults. I have a real passion for transmitting my love of music, and I like to have a creative, playful and holistic approach to teaching. I also play the piano and often use it for aural training or to accompany my students (or do violin duets). I do believe that music is not just for competitions or exams but a skill for life that can bring tremendous joy, discoveries, friends and fun along the way. Learning an instrument is also a great way to foster different qualities such as patience, diligence, presence, resilience, deep listening and the ability to express and share our emotions with others. Having explored many different violin methods and styles, I take a different approach according to each student. I like to teach a solid classical technique with some scales, studies and pieces, but there are many different ways to make music enjoyable or find other paths depending on the student's goal. Although I was trained classically in Belgian Conservatoires and the Guildhall School of Music, I do like to teach a variety of music that is not just classical (Celtic, world, klezmer, jazz, tango, film music, pop...). I often encourage my students to compose or improvise freely. In the last two decades, I have led many youth orchestras and violin workshops and worked for many different primary and secondary schools in England. I'm a member of the European String Teachers Association. I’m looking forward to meeting you, please don’t hesitate to contact me for more information.
