I am a professional drummer, composer, and performer based in Brussels, with an active career in jazz, improvised, and creative music across Europe. Whether your background is rock, pop, world, indie, or anything else, we focus on what serves your music, and on what learning this instrument can become. My goal is not to tell you strictly how things should be done, but to help you find your own way of doing them. To strengthen the musician that already exists inside you, and give you the tools to grow with confidence and independence. I offer private drum lessons focused on long term development rather than isolated sessions. My work with students is based on regular weekly lessons, helping each drummer build solid technique, musical awareness, sound, and a personal voice in the instrument. These lessons are for: - Beginners who want a strong and musical foundation - Intermediate players who want to improve groove, coordination, and confidence - Creative musicians interested in improvisation, sound, and advanced rhythmic development. My approach is practical and human. We work on what you really need, from basic technique and time feel to more advanced topics like independence, phrasing, and creative practice methods. I started making music as an adult. I always had that drive as a kid, but my family could not afford the lessons. Then life kicked in and there was always a good reason not to get into it. Until one day this old dream popped back up, and I stepped into a music store and got my first DJ controller. This completely changed my life, and a few years later I moved to Berlin to start a full course as a music production student. Fast forward a decade or so and I completely changed carreers and deep delved into sound engineering. Making music is a place of joy and fulfillment. The only regret I have is to have kept myself from doing it for such a long time. DO NOT WAIT, there is a great deal of happiness on the other side. I have a tried and true method that I tested on dozens of students, both in workshops and one on one sessions. It's designed to let you access the "having fun" parts in the least amount of time. This approach actually makes the learning curve much smoother, and lets you experiment on your own very quickly. Theory becomes more and more relevant as you go and perfect your skills, but I strongly believe that unlocking the joy potential early while building good habits is the key to any learning experience. Wether you are interested to get into DJing, Music Production or Mix Engineering, wether you are a complete beginner or have started to develop those skills on your own, I can help you streamline the process, avoid the pitfalls, debunk the myths, and accompany as you grow as a musician, regardless of the genres you're into.

I am a classical saxophonist and music educator dedicated to sharing my passion for performance and teaching. My journey with the saxophone began at the age of twelve, and over the years I have developed a deep appreciation for both solo and chamber music performance. I strive to inspire my students to combine solid technique with genuine musical expression, helping them build confidence, discipline, and artistry in their playing. #The lessons are highly flexible. You can choose weekly sessions or monthly reviews, and lessons can be 30, 45, or 60 minutes. I offer a wide range of music resources, and you are welcome to bring your own books, pieces, or suggestions. I am based in Ghent, and lessons can take place at my studio or at your location, anywhere in Belgium. The schedule is very flexible and can be arranged according to your availability. I can teach in either English or Chinese. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me directly. Throughout my career, I have performed in various concert halls such as the Tianjin Grand Theatre and the Tianjin Concert Hall, appearing both as a soloist and as part of saxophone ensembles. I have also received several national awards, including Second Prize at the National Little Golden Bell Wind Competition (2018), First Prize at the China Musicians Association Elite Competition (2019), and the Excellent Award at the “Beautiful Sound of China” National Saxophone Exhibition (2024). Currently, I am continuing my advanced studies at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent in Belgium, working under Professors Koen Maas and Raf Minten. My teaching approach emphasizes clarity of sound, stylistic understanding, and the development of each student’s unique artistic identity.
