Trusted teacher: PIANO Foundation First we start with the music theory, melody and chords. These are the essential building blocks for making music. Style Next we apply stylistic tools to bring the music to life. This could include jazz chords, blues riffs, walking bass lines, and more. skills We learn the skills (soloing, ear training, accompaniment, improvisation, lead sheets, analysis...) Following this approach, you will finally understand the music that you are playing, and you will be able to apply the techniques to hundreds of other songs. CVT COACHING Hi! I am Tine, a singer, voice teacher and vocal coach. I am passionate about helping singers to make the most of their singing practice so they can thrive, grow, and become the powerful performers and communicators the world needs today. I can help you train your voice and keep it healthy, develop your own unique sound, sing across different styles, manage performance anxiety, be authentic on stage, deliver powerful presentations, make more efficient goals and help you reach them. It is possible to create all the sounds from all the styles / genres in a healthy way! CVT METHOD? Singing is not that difficult and everybody can learn to sing. CVT divideds the singing techniques into four main subjects. By combining elements of these four subjects, you can produce precisely the sounds you want. You will also be able to pinpoint your specific problems and mistakes, and you can focus on which techniques you wish to work on. The four main subjects are: The three overall principles – to ensure healthy sound production The four vocal modes – to choose the 'gear' you want to sing in. Sound colors – to make the sound lighter or darker. Effects – to achieve specific sound effects.

Looking to improve your singing, gain confidence, and express yourself better? I am a voice teacher with over 3 years of experience teaching students from ages 5 to adults. I have taught over 40 students in all genres, classical, musical theatre and pop, and have successfully prepared them for ABRSM and Trinity exams. I believe that singing is innate to all of us, and if you can speak, you can sing! My class structure depends on your goals and starting point. During your lesson, we will explore your vocal profile, your goals, and I will show some of the vocal exercises that may help you. You can also bring a song you like, and we can work on the vocal technique, text, and facial or body expression. You can then decide if we are a good fit for one another. A singing class for children is very different to a class for adults. For example, with younger children, we do more vocal exploration and movement, to ensure that they build a love for music and to protect their voice. With adults looking to audition for semi-professional to professional jobs, we work on building a practical practice plan for you own vocal gym. For vocational adult amateurs, we may work on more songs than vocal exercises. I am a Masters student in Singing (Classical) at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, and previously graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Vocal Performance) from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. I started singing when I was 8 in Musical Theatre and Opera, understand the how tricky building the voice can be for all ages. I've received training in contemporary pop singing style with Meredith Colby's Neuro-Vocal Method, and also believe in the body-based Alexander Technique method of relaxation. I regularly go for voice teacher training to make sure I stay updated with factual, anatomy-based methods. Students say that I bring high energy, productive structure, and a personable atmosphere to every class!

Music is life and life is fun! If what you have read interests you, I’m here to answer all your questions, so don’t be afraid: write me and I’ll see how I can help you! • Do you like to sing, do you want to tame the possibilities of your voice? • Are you part of a choir and would like to gain vocal comfort and autonomy? • Do you need coaching to work on your stage presence, your diction, your interpretation? • Do you want to discover the vast vocal repertoire of early music? I would like to help you move forward on the long and mysterious path of the voice. Let's meet to learn together around this fascinating and multifaceted instrument, both the most universal and the most intimate. MY VISION OF TEACHING Trained as an opera singer, I have been teaching students of all ages and levels since 2015, individually or in small groups. I know the classical repertoire well, and also the so-called "old" music. But I'm interested in all styles: musical, variety, traditional... For me, teaching singing is: • stand next to the student, look with him what the obstacle is, and look together for solutions to overcome it. • always show kindness, empathy, patience, non-judgment. I ensure that these values are present in every lesson I give. COURSE DESCRIPTION Audience: adults, teenagers from around 16 years old. Course of a typical lesson: • 1st part: warm-up and technical exercises (posture, breathing, resonances) • 2nd part: work "in context" on a piece (recovery of technical elements, diction of the text, interpretation) Individual lessons or in small groups (2 to 4 people). If you have any special requests, please let me know. If you don't know how to read music (many of my students do): that's not a problem! There are plenty of ways to learn and progress. MY MUSICAL CURRICULUM My background is quite eclectic: after a university course in art history and archeology in France, I studied at the Haute École de Musique de Genève-Neuchâtel where I obtained a Master's degree in Concert in lyrical singing. . I acquired, during my studies and my professional activity, a lot of experience of choral practice, and I was able to attend many choir conducting classes. Finally, I had the opportunity to specialize in early music: Gregorian chant, medieval music, Renaissance polyphonies, 16th and 17th century baroque music, ornamentation, notation, theoretical treatises, facsimile reading... In summary, I like things that are off the beaten track!

Deborah - Amstelveen$48
Trusted teacher: Your body is your instrument when singing. We try to make that instrument sound as beautiful as possible by working on sound formation. This allows the vocal cords to move more freely, so that you are less tired when singing. Your voice becomes fuller and you can sing higher and lower tones. During the singing lessons we are also engaged in articulation, the pronunciation of foreign languages and also the meaning and feeling of a particular piece. Of course you decide for yourself what kind of music you are going to sing. Whether you only sing in the shower or that you are in a choir, for example, and you run into certain difficulties in general or in a particular piece? Then feel free to take your choral part to class and then we will see how we can make it easier for you. We work on repertoire that you love. We can also make a voyage of discovery together to your favorite music. WHO CAN SONG LEARNING? Everyone can learn to sing. Through the singing lessons you will notice that singing becomes easier. Moreover, singing is good for relaxation, both of body and mind. Singing is just enjoying! YOUR OWN INSTRUMENT As a singer or singer you already have one advantage over instrumentalists: you do not have to buy an (expensive) instrument. You always have your instrument with you, but ... you have to take good care of your instrument!

Matteo - Brussels$38
Trusted teacher: Do you want to know the register of your voice? Can you sing the higher notes without hurting your voice? Learn how to do pass marks? Getting to have a powerful but also agile voice? I am a songwriter, pop and jazz singer and singing teacher with 20 years of experience in music. I offer singing lessons at all levels. My classes are addressed to the development of body, muscle and vocal awareness which helps to perceive and consider our body as a musical instrument. My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse courses of study followed. The lesson is structured in two parts: the first half devoted to vocal technique, the second half to the musical repertoire and the learning of musical language (jazz or pop or other genre). The vocal technique that I propose is a basic technique for all types of modern singing: from postural education to the care of breathing, from the use of the abdominal muscles, to the emission of air up to the cavities of resonance. We will work on the sound, on the extension of the voice, on the high and low notes, on the passage of register, on the control, on the power and the agility. From a repertoire point of view, the course will be modeled on the needs or interests of the student, with an eye to the right attitude to hold while you sing and you are on a stage. I can prepare the student for the entrance exam to the conservatory and any form of audition. If the student wishes, I can give him notions of harmony and reading music. EDUCATION I studied song in Italy with Bruno De Franceschi (conductor and composer of contemporary classical music and musical theatre). I studied vocal technique with the lyric singer David Sotgiu (pupil of Luciano Pavarotti), with the lyric singer Maria Grazia Pittavini (teacher at the Perugia Conservatory) and with Cinzia Spata (one of the most important Italian jazz vocal coaches). I studied jazz singing at the Perugia Conservatory with Marta Raviglia (one of the most important Italian jazz singing teachers) and privately with Cinzia Spata. I studied lyrical singing with Maria Grazia Pittavini. I studied pop and jazz piano with Manuel Magrini (one of the most talented young Italian jazz pianists), I studied jazz piano with Alessandro Bravo, jazz piano master at the Perugia Conservatory. I followed masterclasses and trainings relating to the world of singing and voice held by: Maria Pia De Vito (singer), Alejandro Saorin Martinez (voice craft / Estill method), Albert Hera (singer, vocal coach, circle song) , Erika Biavati (singer), Eleonora Bruni (singer), Catharina Kroeger (lyric singer), Amanda Tiffin (South African jazz singer), JD Walter (American jazz singer), Matteo Belli (actor and one of the most important Italian experts in voice research), Franco Fussi (one of the most important phoniatrists in Italy), Roberta Mazzocchi (speech therapist), one-year training in rhytmics and musical pedagogy at Institut Dalcroze in Brussels, three-month training in Gordon method for children between 0 and 6 years old. EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS I have 20 years of experience in music with around 200 concerts between festivals, theaters, clubs and premises, an album of songs, an EP, singles, collaborations with the world of theater, organization of musical events . I lead musical projects in the field of jazz and pop. The passion for singing and song has inevitably brought me closer to the world of education in which I work.

I am a 17 year old student in sixth form, and I take part in singing lessons myself. I've been going to singing lessons for 5 years, and also regularly attend multiple choirs in my school. I have also done duets and performed live multiple times in school concerts (my most recent performance was as a backing singer for my friend who won a song writing competition and performed it live for the Mayor of Ealing in a celebration assembly - for anyone interested, the song is on Spotify: it is called You've Changed by Erin O'Sullivan).

Trusted teacher: Are you curious about singing, but feel like you don’t know where to start? Do you already have some experience of singing and are curious about what your voice could achieve at its full potential? Do you feel shy about your voice and wish you could feel confident enough to sing in front of other people? I am Olivia, a professional opera singer who is passionate about teaching singers a healthy vocal technique in all styles of singing, and helping them to grow in confidence along the way. My teaching room is a safe space where students are free to experiment, make mistakes and discover everything about their voice with my full support! I have been teaching singing privately to pupils of all ages and levels for several years, as well as enjoying a busy performance career. I find that being a regular performer myself is very important when imparting knowledge and advice to my students because I want to teach you more than just the mechanics of singing - I want to guide you towards being an artist and expressing YOUR unique voice and personality. I work on vocal technique, drama and language, and have worked with children, teenagers, and adults - both those hoping to sing professionally and enthusiastic amateurs! Every lesson will include warmups and technical exercises as well as work on repertoire that we will choose together. I can teach in English, French or Italian. As for my performance experience: I began taking singing lessons at 13 years old after joining the school choir in secondary school in London, and adored the process of training my voice. In my teens, I performed in concerts as a soloist and also in a few musical theatre roles, most notably Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. I moved to Switzerland and trained as an opera singer at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève, and did a Specialised Masters (Soloist) at the Hochschule der Künste Bern. I have since gone on to perform with the opera houses of Geneva, Lausanne and Lucerne, the Opera House of Zrenjanin in Serbia, the Jeunesses Musicales Opera Studio (Croatia), London Grimeborn Festival, and have been a featured soloist at such concert venues as the Berlin Philharmonic, Salle Paderewski in Lausanne, the BFM in Geneva, the Cologne Philharmonic, and St Johns Smith Square in London. Most recently you may have seen me as Mrs P. in the Swiss première of Michael Nyman's 'The Man who mistook his Wife for a Hat' in Vevey, or if you've been enjoying the program 'Blob Opera' this year, you might be interested to know that I was one of the opera singers working on this project by recording hours of material for a machine to create an algorithm that recreating an opera singer's voice! Good singing is about solid and healthy vocal technique, a good feeling for music, self-expression and confidence! I would love to work with you to build all of these parts of yourself and to see where your voice takes you. If you have any questions, please do get in touch with me!

“Your voice is your most beautiful instrument…” “It is very difficult for our body to develop and build in a harmonious way. The history and journey of each have left their mark. As a result, we may find it difficult to sing properly and position our voice.” Singing can be learned! Singing out of tune is not inevitable. "Singing" is a vocal education through which one learns to effectively develop one's voice, have automatisms, exceed one's limits and achieve excellence in order to express one's creativity and oneself. The School Of Vocal Arts aims to provide you with all the tools necessary for your musical development. We teach and support you in a real synergy of research, creativity and innovation. We are Talent Revealers and Coaches, from an early age through to a professional career. Vocal coaching is not just a singing lesson but an in-depth research into the use of one's body (muscles, postures, breath management, emotions, etc.) in the service of the voice! The school's pedagogy is based on several years of research in vocal technique. Indeed, this unique methodology, SOVA Vocal'FiT® will allow the student to benefit from a "tailor-made" teaching, thus giving him the opportunity to express his creativity to achieve excellence. We compare the singer to a top athlete who trains with the expertise of a team to be able to perform with excellence. Physical preparation is key to becoming a complete performer. Each student benefits from a personalized program adapted to his level and his personal project. Improve your vocal technique, work on your rhythm, stage preparation, singing lessons... The coaches are, above all, artists who share their knowledge and their experiences, as well as the reality of the profession of singer, which brings to their lessons a practical dimension, appreciated by the students. They accompany you throughout your project in order to make you progress at your own pace while respecting your musical style. Each coach benefits from additional training, which allows him to integrate the SOVA Vocal'FiT® methodology, philosophy, ethics and the way the school operates. During our first meeting, a complete checkup of your voice and your project is carried out, in order to situate your level, understand and define your objectives, and target the points you wish to work on or improve. In some cases, coaching is combined with music therapy or vocal rehabilitation, through which students discover and reveal themselves. This unique coaching methodology, set up by Sabine Jacquet, founder and director of SOVA, also applies to different pathologies or disabilities, with the search for an appropriate teaching and approach. A vocal pathology is rarely irremediable! Once the pathology has been identified, voice rehabilitation, which is done in partnership with phoniatrists, speech therapists and ENT specialists, will make it possible to work in depth on psychological and bodily blockages. Voice work takes into account psychological parameters that help to fight against stress, anxieties and difficult to manage emotions. We will relearn the student to use his voice correctly and effectively develop his way of singing or expressing himself. Pushing back physical, physiological and emotional barriers is possible!! The School Of Vocal Arts is about working and revealing the secrets of your voice together!

An outstanding singer, teacher and just a beautiful human-being. When I first came in, I had not believed in my ability to sing, but the lessons with Arianna became so addicting that I don't wish to stop now! She created a safe space from day 1 and brought my voice out, helped me crack it and polish it afterwards :) The best first tutor I could've had! Merci!
