Trusted teacher: Exploring Your Singing Voice!!! It is my belief that anyone can sing as the body is built to speak and sing. So if you or your child loves to sing, it is never too late nor too early to learn one's self-expression through singing. I work with people of all ages from beginners, hobbyists, the curious, and to everyone in between who yearns to explore their singing voices. Lessons are tailored for each individual depending on their level and goals for singing. My lessons cover Vocal Function/Technique, Basic Music Theory, and learning and performing a song. The Vocal Technique I teach is grounded in the principles of Functional Singing and Somatic Voicework ™ The LoVetri Method. Trusted teacher: For voice students, my teaching method will depend on which genre of music you are interested in pursuing. A few that I teach most frequently are classical, opera, and Broadway. On your first lesson, we will go over the basics of good breathing and posture, figure out your voice type, what genre of voice you want to pursue, and from there, I will choose a piece for you to begin working on, and starting with that piece, you will continue to learn how to improve your voice in amazing ways! I have learned that being immersed in the world of music is vital for being a good teacher. Musicians who only teach and do not “cross-train” by performing on their instruments regularly and continuing learning simply do not have as much to offer to their students. I pursue all of these avenues actively, not only for my own benefit, but also for that of my students. My primary goal as a teacher is to be a motivating and inspiring mentor and guide. As the famous Chinese proverb says, a teacher opens the door, but students must enter by themselves. My highest aspiration is to show my students doors that they never knew existed, and giving them the tools to go through those doors on their own.

Trusted teacher: My students can expect to improve their skills and start to enjoy music more as we work together. I believe that learning music is fun and enjoyable. However you also need to be serious and focused. I can demonstrate various and specific techniques, phrasing, and interpretation and will always coach on how to develop your skills. However, I feel it is important for students to think critically on their own and take the first try at solving a problem themselves. I cannot emphasize enough that primarily it is you who find the ways to improve. Leaning music is a collaboration between teachers and students. I hope that through my lessons, students will become more self-sufficient and confident as musicians. Let me help you become a better musician.

Trusted teacher: Vocal health and freedom come from practicing techniques that enhance the voice and allow for exploring different styles. My goal is to help students gain confidence, understand how they can properly care for their voices while attempting a wide array of songs, and refine their delivery so that they can make an impact on the audience. I work for hands on with workshopping vocal choices and bringing out different colors and tones in the student's voice.
