Professor with a Higher Degree in Piano with over 30 years of experience gives piano lessonsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Professor with a Higher Diploma in Piano from the Liceu Conservatory of Music in Barcelona and specializing in Spanish music from the Frank Marshall Academy (founded by Enrique Granados). My curriculum is comprehensive and progressive. My teaching method focuses primarily on good sight-reading, combined with refined piano technique. I also address learning difficulties such as postural problems, tension, and faulty touch. My piano technique is based on the Enrique Granados school and his specific touch-based method, emphasizing sound and proper pedal use. We will work on three basic sections: technique exercises, studies, and works from all styles (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, etc.). We will also cover music theory (theory + daily exercises from the ABSRM method), solfège, choral singing, written ear training, score analysis, and concert listening exercises. In addition to my in-person lessons, my online classes feature high-quality audio and video specifically designed for musicians: via the Zoom video call app (with settings that typically offer better sound for piano), and using OBS production software so you can clearly see the keyboard and hands from different angles. Sound is captured with Behringer stereo microphones (piano) and a separate microphone for vocals, and multiple screens are used to combine sheet music, explanation, and real-time demonstration. The goal is to make the online lesson as close as possible to an in-person class. I have 30 years of experience as a teacher. Lessons are personalized to each student's needs, for all levels and ages (children and adults).

Safer Space Guitar Lessons: Musician | Social worker seeks students for empowering, peer-to-peer lessons! (fees are tiered based on income)Translate this text using Google Translate.

I believe it's important to look at the learning process holistically. I think you are the music itself. You bring all the wonderful and beautiful things about it with you. The guitar is the means of expression you've chosen, and WOW! It's definitely cool, and it's amazing that you're even taking this step and want to take it (more) seriously :) So... simply learning scales and theory isn't my approach. (although there's no way around it haha) Everything you experience and have experienced contributes to who you are and will become as a musician. It shapes your expression with and without a guitar, and above all, the way you learn. So, of course, we look at the technique and playing styles, but just as importantly, we look at what aspects of mindset and personal development contribute to the musical development. A lot happens there :) I would appreciate your trust. Methodologically, we will work together to understand you and see how you prefer to learn and what you need to stay motivated and grow as a musician (and therefore as a person). And if you don't know that yet, we'll find out together, slowly, step by step! :) LET'S DO THIS! Woohoo! Feel free to send me a message, no matter why! All the best until then, Cantata

High-Quality Guitar Lessons with a Professional & Experienced GuitaristTranslate this text using Google Translate.

High-Quality Guitar Lessons with a Professional & Experienced GuitaristTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I am a professional guitarist, composer and music educator based in Graz, Austria. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Jazz Guitar at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz in 2023, followed by a Master's degree in Jazz Guitar with honors in June 2026. Alongside my artistic work, I am currently studying Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy (IGP) in Jazz Guitar at the same university, with additional focuses on arrangement and ensemble direction. With over ten years of teaching experience, I have worked with children, teenagers and adults of all ages and ability levels—from complete beginners to advanced musicians and students preparing for university entrance examinations. Every student is unique. For this reason, each lesson is individually adapted to your musical interests, goals, experience and preferred learning pace. - What We Can Work on Together 1. Understanding the Guitar and Fretboard Develop a clear understanding of your instrument and learn how notes, chords, scales and musical patterns are organized across the fretboard. This will help you learn songs more efficiently and express your own musical ideas with greater freedom. 2. Song Accompaniment Develop your skills as a rhythm guitarist through chords, strumming patterns, fingerstyle techniques and accompaniment approaches from a variety of musical styles. 3. Improvisation Improvisation is an important part of jazz, but it can also be applied to rock, blues, funk, pop and many other styles. We will work with practical tools such as arpeggios, triads, scales, phrasing, ear training and harmonic concepts, always connecting them directly to real music. 4. Rhythm and Timing Develop a stronger sense of pulse, groove and musical timing. A solid rhythmic foundation is essential for every musician, whether you are playing alone, accompanying singers or performing with a band. 5. Harmony, Modern Music Theory and Composition Explore how music is constructed and learn to understand chord progressions, melodies, scales, song forms and harmonic relationships. Students who are interested in composing can also develop their own pieces and musical ideas. 6. Guitar Technique We can work systematically on different technical areas, including alternate picking, economy picking, sweep picking, hybrid picking, legato, chord transitions, articulation and coordination between both hands. Technique is always approached as a tool for musical expression rather than as an isolated exercise. 7. Repertoire Learn songs, compositions and solos in the styles that inspire you, whether that is jazz, rock, pop, blues, funk, metal or another musical direction. Your favorite music can become the foundation for developing technique, theory, rhythm and creativity. 8. Creativity and Musical Expression Students are encouraged to develop their own musical ideas, experiment with sound, improvise, compose and discover a personal connection with the instrument. 9. Preparation for Performances and Entrance Examinations Advanced students can receive structured support in preparing for concerts, auditions and entrance examinations at music schools, conservatoires and music universities. 10. Personal and Supportive Lessons My aim is to create a positive, patient and respectful learning environment. Mistakes are treated as a natural part of the learning process, and each lesson is built around realistic goals and sustainable progress. Whether you are picking up the guitar for the first time or looking to take your playing to a more advanced level, I will support you in developing your skills, confidence and individual musical voice. Let's make music together!

Gitarre, Musiktheorie, Komposition Unterrichten. English & DeutschTranslate this text using Google Translate.

English: From beginner to university student, I can teach you electric guitar, acoustic guitar, or ukulele. Whether it's just a few chords to play your favourite songs or through more complex topics like jazz harmony. I also like to teach music theory / composition, so if you need theory tutoring or preparation for university exams, I can help you with that too! With 16 years of guitar playing experience and Bachelors Degree in Jazz & Contemporary Popular music, I've had the opportunity to play Jazz, RnB, Folk/Singersongwriter, Bluegrass, Funk, Heavy Metal, Rock. From Jazz Bigbands and Musical Pitbands, to accompanying singer songwriters, to playing solo guitar concerts. I know how the guitar fits into many different types of ensembles and with many styles of music. I'm now studying a Master of Jazz Composition and Arranging at KUG in Graz and I love to help others understanding complex musical theory and how it can be used to write new music! I love writing music for Bigband, Classical Chamber ensembles, and small jazz ensembles as well as for singer-songwriters. English is of course my mother tongue but I would be happy to teach in German as well!

🎼 Music theory & music theory clearly explained, with examples on the pianoTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Do you have trouble reading music? Do you love listening to music, but don't understand time signatures, keys or chords? Music theory often sounds abstract, but with the right explanation and concrete examples it suddenly becomes a lot more logical, and even fun :) For whom? - Beginner or advanced musicians who want to better understand what they are doing. - Students preparing for music theory exams (e.g. music school, entrance exams). - Independent artists/producers who want to deepen their musical knowledge. - Anyone who is curious about the language behind music. What can you expect? - Clear explanation, at your own pace. - Theory made immediately applicable with examples on the piano. - Extra attention to insight instead of learning dry rules by heart. - Tutoring fully tailored to your level and goal (classical, pop, songwriting, production, ...). About me I obtained a Grade 8 diploma in Music Theory and also a Grade 8 Piano from the Royal Schools of Music. In addition, I hold a diploma in Audio Engineering from Hofa College. I am active as a music artist and producer myself. Thanks to this combination of classical training and practical experience, I know how important it is to make theory understandable, concrete, and musical. I use my own piano during lessons to clarify everything visually and audibly. Possible topics: - Learn to read music. - Scales, chords & harmony. - Form and analysis (classical, jazz or pop). - Rhythm, time signatures & tempo. - Music theory for producers/songwriters. - Songwriting. - Preparation for exams or entrance tests. Practical - 1-on-1 lessons, online or live (if you don't live too far away). - I provide materials, or we work with what you need. - No prior knowledge required. Lessons adapted to your level. 🎶 Feel free to send me a message with your questions or goals. We'll see how I can best help you.

I studied the violin for about 2 months with Fermin and I have grown much in my knowledge of not just how to play but how to think when playing. Fermin has also helped a lot with technical struggles allowing me to break through some of the challenges that were bothering me for a long time. He is a very patient teacher but he will not hesitate to stop you and correct you (as any good teacher would) if you are not playing correctly. I personally requested that he gives me honest feedback which really helped me play better tecnically and musically. I believe he will be open to adapting his strictness upon specific requests. The time difference (Fermin being in Spain and I being in the US) has not been easy but Fermin was very willing to bend his schedule and provided several time slots to accommodate my availability. To sum up, if you are looking for a teacher that is patient in character yet unrelenting toward the goal of fully tapping your potential both musically and tecnically, I would recommend you take a lesson with Fermin.

This guy is the real deal. I just completed my fifth lesson and I already know how to play most of the Judas Priest's Breaking the law. Giuseppe pays a lot of attention on your technique and tries to make sure that you don't pick up any bad habits that you would later have to unlearn. Each lesson has included exercises that improve your technique and practicing songs as well. He tells you what to practice for the next time. He is patient and explains things very clearly. Highly recommended.

Mrs. Denise has demonstrated passion, mastery and, above all, great versatility as a teacher. She has skillfully recaptured the spirit of a Medieval song with imaginative vocal intensity, while discussing in great detail the lyrical content, linguistic nuances, and the historical context of the song, as well as guiding me through the intricacies of the Occitan language with confidence and poise.
