Hej! My name is Steaph, I am a harpist from Scotland. I have lived in Copenhagen for 4 years. I am an experienced and professional musician, and a passionate teacher. I am happy to teach students of any age (6+) and anybody from absolute beginners, to advanced students. Being from Scotland, where the lever harp is a traditional instrument, I have a lot of experience with celtic and folk music. I am a professional classical musician in Copenhagen, but I also have a passion for arranging and performing pop music! So please write to me with the pieces you dream of playing - I would love to help you work towards these goals! QUALIFICATIONS Master of Music The Royal Danish Academy of Music- 2023 (Harp) 1st Class Bachelor of Music with Honors- 2017 (Royal Northern College of Music) What to expect from my lessons: I believe that everybody has the ability to play music and I can help you improve your confidence with my positive and encouraging attitude! This includes everybody from absolute beginners who have never performed in front of anybody. I like to provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere for my students to be able to play to the best of their ability. I can help you develop a healthy technique: every student I have is different therefore I introduce exercises for each of my students according to their abilities and goals. I love to help students with the interpretation and performance of different pieces in any genre. I can help you to create a practice plan that is unique to your needs, time and goals.

Classes of singing jazz, pop and all other kinds of modern music in CopenhagenTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Classes of singing jazz, pop and all other kinds of modern music in CopenhagenTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Aleksandra is a trained singer, singing teacher and choir conductor from the Academy of Music in Gdansk and Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in Barcelona. She took to the stage in her childhood and has been teaching music for the last 6 years. For several years she was a chorister of the prestigious Polish National Youth Choir and leader of Vocal Quintet Solifonia. Currently, she is a choir conductor and the founder of CHOIR CLUB in Korskolen. What can you expect from her teaching? She believes that singing can be passion, a communication tool, a means of therapy and so much more: more than you can imagine! In her classes, you will learn key vocal techniques as well as learning to understand your voice. You will discover the deeper meanings of the songs you sing as you seek to express them to the world. As she is working towards becoming an Accredited Teacher of IVTOM (International Voice Teachers of Mix) she focuses on delivering teaching based on the Mix principles: by mixing the chest and head voice you receive the full benefits of “both voices”: the natural and powerful sound of the chest voice, and the beauty and range of the head voice. As a singer learns to sing using both of these resonances and trains the vocal folds to stay together, it is possible to vocalize smoothly and evenly from one register to the next. The relationship of the two elements working together will create an even, smooth vocalization and, as a result, eliminates the “breaks” in the voice. She has a good knowledge of playing the piano, so you can sing along to her accompaniment or accompany yourself under her supervision. What does the first lesson include? You’ll talk about: - your background and musical experience - all the circumstances that can influence your sound production - your needs, expectations and plans You also find out: - what your bad habits are - how you can start your singing technique - what kind of exercises will help you best achieve your singing goals Who is welcome? - Children (8+), adolescents and adults - Singers of all kinds of popular music - Students who want to learn hearing / rhythm theory - Individuals, groups and families

Piano Lessons (Jazz&Classical) / Music Theory / ProductionTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hi there! My name is Darius , I am from Germany and I am studying my Master's at the Rythmic Music Conservatory in "Music Performance". I've been playing the piano since the age of 5 years and I started teaching when I was 14 years old. I have experience teaching all levels, including young childres (>6) and adults of all age - teaching privately and in music schools ever since. I can offer basic to intermediate teaching in classical related and pop related piano / keyboards. Having a jazz background myself I can offer jazz lessons from basic to expert which might include preparing for auditions. I am very open to the interests of my students, but my only requirement is to take some time for people call "practising" - or just making yourself a nice time with music :) I also offer other music related teaching in music theory, "ear training", production etc. on all levels. I believe that we should do stuff that you're interested in. Maybe you'd like to learn this beautiful classical piano piece? Or you would like to play jazz piano? Or you'd like to accompany yourself on the piano? Anything is possible :) I also believe that lessons should not be work that you need to do or be good at... For me it's all about fun, creativity, imagination, and taking a break, relaxing, expressing, listening, experiencing, getting more sensitive.. enjoying music both listening to it and playing it yourself :) If you're interested, you can listen to my music in my hiphop/jazz band "Bokoya"! Lessons would take place at Rythmic Music Conservatory in Holmen (Bus 2A from Christianshavn) or (within a reach of 1052) in your home. Timing is pretty flexible. Let's meet each other :) Looking forward to hearing from you!

“ Can is a great teacher. I took my first guitar lesson with him after learning to play easy things on my own for two years and getting stuck on more difficult things. Can teaches music and guitar from a point of view that makes sense and makes it easier to understand how everything is structured. He can easily pick up mistakes from your playing, point out things to improve and provide excercises to work on those. After only few meetings I feel I have better understanding on the theory behind guitar playing, I feel I have improved technically after being stuck with my progress for quite a while, and I have a drive to learn more again. Would definitely suggest lessons with Can! ”

“ Karolina really strikes the perfect balance between encouragements and challenges to make her student progress. As an amateur singer in a band, it was important for me to find a rigorous yet creative teacher to improve my singing techniques. Her meticulousness and expertise make her an inspiring singing teacher! ”

“ I really enjoy having lessons with Asli because Asli is a super sensitive teacher who is able to adapt her lessons to my needs. She creates a judgement free learning environment which gives me a lot of security what makes learning piano more joyful and relaxing. I can highly recommend her to any other student! ”
