Oorspronkelijk kom ik uit Turkije, waar ik als orkestdirigent en docent aan conservatoria heb gewerkt. Sinds enkele jaren woon ik in Nederland en ik ben enthousiast om hier mijn passie en kennis te delen met nieuwe studenten! 🎼 Wat geef ik? • Dwarsfluit – van beginner tot gevorderd • Basgitaar – groove, techniek, improvisatie • Ukulele – individuele lessen én groepslessen voor kinderen en volwassenen • Piano (basis) – vooral voor muziektheorie en begeleiding • Muziektheorie & solfège – op elk niveau (incl. toelatingsexamens conservatorium) • Samenspelcoaching / ensemblebegeleiding • Compositie & arrangeren – met name voor blaasensembles en orkesten 📚 Achtergrond en ervaring • Bachelor en Master in Muziektheorie & Orkestdirectie • PhD in Muziektheorie, gespecialiseerd in klassieke Turkse muziek en Westerse muziekanalyse • Ervaring als orkestleider van harmonieorkesten, fluitist in symfonie-orkesten en bassist op pop- en jazzpodia • Actief arrangeur en producer – momenteel bezig met eigen muziekproducties • Docent muziektheorie, solfège, fluit, basgitaar, ukulele en piano op conservatoria en muziekscholen • Leservaring met kinderen en volwassenen, individueel en in groepen 🎵 Mijn aanpak Mijn lessen zijn afgestemd op jouw wensen en niveau. Of je nu voor het eerst een instrument aanraakt of je voorbereidt op een auditie, ik begeleid je stap voor stap met aandacht voor techniek, muzikale expressie en vooral: plezier in het maken van muziek. Flute and Piccolo Lessons – All Levels! Do you want to learn to play the flute and piccolo in a fun and enjoyable way? My name is Beatriz, a professional flutist and piccolo player with international training and teaching experience in Spain. I hold a Master’s Degree in Flute and Piccolo Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, a Postgraduate in Orchestral Performance, and a Master’s Degree in Music Education in Spain. Combining my academic background with solid performing experience in several orchestras and international competitions, I offer flute and piccolo lessons for all levels, always tailored to the goals and needs of each student. 👉 What I offer in my lessons: Tailored lessons for all levels: from beginners to advanced students. Work on sound production, breathing, posture, technique, intonation, and musical expression. Repertoire adapted to each student’s goals: classical, contemporary, audition preparation, or simply playing for amusement! Lessons available on both flute and piccolo. 📍 Lesson options: At my home. I enjoy teaching both harp and flute at my studio in Worthing and also offer lessons online. I studied at The Royal Academy of Music, London graduating with a first-class Master's degree and an LRAM music teaching qualification. Learning an instrument is a very rewarding and enjoyable experience and I teach students of all ages and abilities from complete beginner to advanced levels. Music theory will be integrated into the lessons and you will have the opportunity to take part in performances and work towards graded exams if you wish to do so or just play for fun! Each lesson will be tailored to the individual pupil’s needs, level, and style. I teach a wide variety of musical styles including Classical, Celtic, Pop, Jazz, and more!

Learn to play; to decipher the scores and improvise by ear or by reading and analyzing chord charts. This course will adapt to your level of play: simple harmonies for beginners and more complex depending on the degree of mastery of the instrument. This course also includes a thorough introduction to harmony.
