Eyal has taught hundreds of students over the past 15 years, both guitar and piano next to music theory and composition. Besides his formal music education (a bachelor's in composition, a teaching degree from the music academy in Jerusalem, and a master's in composition from Codarts, Rotterdam), Eyal has acquired experience in a wide range of various musical styles, including rock, blues, jazz, classical music, electronic music and contemporary music, on which he bases his rich approach, which can be adjusted to every student separately. Solos, chords, improvisations, heavy distortion or acoustic guitar, playing in a party or jumping on stages, reading notes or playing by ear. Your body is your instrument when singing. We try to make that instrument sound as beautiful as possible by working on sound formation. This allows the vocal cords to move more freely, so that you get tired less quickly when singing. Your voice becomes fuller and you can sing higher and lower notes. During the singing lessons we also work on articulation, the pronunciation of foreign languages and also on the meaning of and your feelings about a particular piece. Of course you decide what kind of music you will sing. Whether you sing alone in the shower or whether you are in a choir and encounter certain difficulties in general or with a specific piece? Please feel free to bring your choir part to class and we will see together how we can make this easier for you. We work on repertoire that you love. We can also make a journey of discovery together to your favorite music. WHO CAN LEARN TO SING? Everyone can learn to sing. Because of the singing lessons you will notice that singing becomes easier. Moreover, singing is good for relaxation, both of body and mind. Singing is just enjoying! YOUR OWN INSTRUMENT As a singer you already have one advantage over instrumentalists: you do not have to buy an (expensive) instrument. You always have your instrument with you, but... you have to take good care of your instrument!

Hello! I am Inês, a professional violinist based in Amsterdam. After completing my Bachelor at Codarts-Rotterdam and my Master and Postgraduate in violin performance at the Koniklijk Conservatory Brussel, I am currently active as a freelance violinist and perform regularly in chamber music concerts, having played in festivals such as the Grachten Festival, OUTDOORS, Opera Forward Festival, Uitmarkt, among others. I am also passionate about teaching, and have experience working both in individual lessons with a wide range of ages and in conducting group workshops for children. Wether you are taking your first steps with the violin or if you have played it before and want to pick it up again, I will guide you through developing your musical ear, cultivating a solid and healthy technique, reading music scores fluently, and mostly - to enjoy playing music!

The lessons will delve into both the technical and musical aspects of piano playing, theory, reading music, harmony, ear training, technique, pedagogy and more. I'm passionate about traversing genres since I have studied both jazz and classical to a high level, making this class perfect for creative pianists and composers who want to go beyond reading music off a piece of paper. Trinity/ABRSM curriculum upto Grade 8, can also be optionally included. Teaching effective practice methods is a priority, ensuring students progress confidently and without leaning on me. Please note, I only teach in person to maintain high standards of guidance in technique. This is not possible via video conferencing. Since everyone asks: yes, I did study at Berklee College of Music as an undergraduate for some time, and I do help students out with their audition preparation for various music colleges! I am Dimitrios, I am a greek professional guitarist. I graduated with a masters degree in Jazz guitar from Conservatorium van Amsterdam and also studied in the conservatory of Leeds, UK. As a musician my primary focus is jazz music but I also often play other styles like soul, Rnb and more. Learn to understand the language of music! We’ll work on the most important aspects of music theory and ear training which includes: solfegio (sight-reading), interval hearing and singing, scales knowledge note reading. Singing “false” or otherwise, out of tune, is not only a matter of a vocal technique but very much your ability to hear, recognise and recreate tones and sounds. By working on ear training you’ll improve your intonation and hearing abilities. All these are needed to sing in tune, improvise melodies, sing runs and riffs and harmonise melodies (create second voice) with ease. Mixing a recorded music is the art to connect musical ideas to emotions. Whether it is your music or someone else’s recordings, I’ll help you develop your skills in order to give the perfect “make up” to any song. But what exactly is Music Mixing Engineering? Imagine that you recorded drums, bass, keyboard, guitars and vocal. Now you have to put everything together and be able to listen to all the instruments with perfect sonic separation. You need to match the emotional intention of the composer to the emotions of the listener. The decision to make the voice louder or not, bring the guitars to attention only in a specific moment of the song, specify the type of reverberation and so many other decisions is the responsibility of the one working on the mix. I’ll teach you all the 7 main steps for every successful mix and work in-depth each of those according to your development or previous knowledge. I’ll fine tune the lessons specifically for your needs. We can work with your recordings, but if you don't have one, don't worry. I'll bring multi-tracks recordings of different genres for you to learn and practice along. Common Questions: - Do I need to be a musician to mix a music? Although it certainly helps, you don't need to know how to play any instrument. - I don't have monitors or an acoustically treated room, can I learn anyway? For sure yes. You can use headphone and simple speakers like the one from your notebook, for example. Once you'll understand the techniques and develop your hearing, you move to the next level. - Which software (DAW) should I use? If you're starting now, I recommend Reaper or Logic Pro.
