I'm a Sivananda Classical Hatha Yoga instructor and teach all levels, beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. Currently only teaching online. There are 3 options, either you can do private (one-to-one), you may join my live yoga class Tuesdays 17:30-18:30 and pay lesser compared to private or do my pre-recorded classes via youtube private link (booked like you would a normal class), a gmail account is required to access this class. A typical open level class includes Relaxation, Pranayama (breathing exercises), warm-ups including Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar), Single & Double leg raises, 12 Basic asanas (postures) and final deep relaxation. The focus is on mastering the basic asanas from which variations are then added to further deepen the practice. The asanas follow an order that allows for the systematic movement of every major part of the body in a balanced way that enhances prana or life force energy, keeping the mind quiet and without the need to think beyond each individual pose. I also teach chair yoga which will be different from the above class description but still includes relaxation, breathing exercises and simpler chair based yoga.

In this class we'll cover a full active warm up, getting our blood pumping, mobilising our joints, sliding into some stretches and getting our muscles ready for some acrobatics. I am available to give authentic traditional yoga online sessions for beginners which can be easily taken. We will perform loosening exercise for each of the body parts, one at a time with a conscious effort on the breathing patterns We will then work upon more than one body parts, simultaneously. So, we would learn the sun salutation to open up our bodies. Introduction on the body postures and breathing techniques will then be taken. This will improve flexibility, core and muscular strength, stability and balance. These sessions will also work out on your inner stamina. We will further control our breath, go deeper into spirituality and touch upon mudra and bandh. The concept of chakra and kundalini would be introduced and practiced here.
