I am Carlos (08/02/1992), professional violinist and violin and viola teacher. I started playing the violin when I was 15 years old. This means I can still clearly remember the methods and techniques I used to learn how to play the violin. I will certainly take these experiences with me into my teaching position. These insights allow me to teach each student according to his/her desires and needs. My passion for teaching started when my father and nephew wanted to learn to play the violin. Since then I have continued to teach many students because I get energy and inspiration from my students. In recent years I have taught many different students and because of this I have gained a lot of experience in using different methodologies. Teaching is a big responsibility. My priority is to let the student have fun while learning and to stimulate musicality/creativity. Every student is different and has different interests, therefore every student will be taught in a different way and with a different method. The styles I teach can vary from classical to jazz, pop, etc. I have taught students of different levels both in Spain and in the Netherlands: beginners, amateurs, advanced. So I teach students who are preparing for the conservatory, but also the very first beginners. Because I am from Spain, I can teach in Spanish, English and Dutch.

Depending on your own set of goals, we can study classical or/and contemporary styles without compromising from technical study. I teach singer-songwriter lessons in Utrecht. Ages 10 and up. You don't have to be able to do anything yet. You don't have to be able to play an instrument yourself. During the lessons we work on writing lyrics, vocal technique and performance. You can get acquainted with different instruments. There are different types of lessons possible: 1. You want to develop your writing talent in a small group - 1 hour per week with a presentation of your work every six months. (Maximum 4 people per group - Minimum 2 people) 2.
