I would like to share my singing experience from three different conservatories in Germany and the Netherlands and renowned private teachers from New York with you to create your individual learning process. I will assist you on your musical journey an adapt to your individual needs to take you to your goals. Singing connects you to your being, to your emotions and depends on your mindset and mentality. I want to share these insights with you to grow your voice, your presence and your love towards music. Pop/Rock/Jazz is my main focus. My experiences with Techniques like Feldenkrais and Alexander Technique shapes the classes to open your instrument - the body.

Hei! I come from a beautiful fjord in Norway called Ryfylke and recently moved to Dreiländereck in Ötlingen, a village overlooking the vineyards. My teaching experience ranges from beginners to advanced. I am a dedicated, passionate teacher who loves to pass on my knowledge of music. I believe the essence of teaching is to encourage the artist within to focus on expression and experience the connection to oneself. Music for me is all about connecting to your own feelings and inner world, and finding a way to share this with other artists and listeners. I teach violin with the help of imagination as well as great methods. I focus on the joy of discipline and focus rather then being rigid. I guide you to discover yourself, your inner voice that constitutes the artist you are. Optional focus and guidance - I have experience in trauma healing and addressing blockages that hinder joyful playing. I encourage students to explore their true self as an artist. This approach not only facilitates learning an instrument and understanding music but also helps individuals find their unique voice in life, leading to immense joy! I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s age, experience, and goals. Children (7–12 years old) For younger students, lessons focus on building confidence while making learning fun. We begin with simple vocal warm-ups and ear training to develop pitch and intonation, then move on to singing their favourite songs, encouraging good vocal habits in an enjoyable way. Teenagers (12-17 years old) With teenage students, we start with more structured vocal warm-ups and exercises. As we discover their natural voice, we work on developing a comfortable vocal range, improving technique, and applying these skills through songs that suit their voice and interests. Adults and seniors (18+) For adult students, lessons are usually divided into two parts. We begin with vocal technique, focusing on breathing, diaphragm support, scales, arpeggios, and intonation. We then apply these techniques through singing, helping you develop confidence, control, and healthy vocal habits. I will give you repertoire to study or we will study the pieces you have to prepare. The final goal will be to sing on a musical accompaniment. Every student learns at a different pace. Some may spend more time building a solid technical foundation before moving on to more challenging repertoire, and that’s perfectly fine. My priority is to ensure that every student feels comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their vocal journey. I teach children, teenagers, and adults and seniors from complete beginners to advanced singers. My classical training provides a strong technical foundation that can be applied to any musical style, whether you enjoy pop, musical theatre, jazz, rock, or classical singing. Whatever your age or experience, I’d love to help you discover and develop your voice. Let’s sing!
