I can show you how to have fun with the piano. If you're a beginner, I can take you right from step one and have you playing familiar songs by the 1st or 2nd lesson. I teach for the Enjoyment of Music as well. I believe you can learn to play the piano at any age. My oldest student is over 75 years old, and my youngest one is 3 years old. The only requirement is the willingness to spend some time at the piano. I conduct my lessons using a combination of 4 cameras for optimum visibility, and a quality microphone which my students find very helpful. This allows them to see a very clear visual demonstration alongside my verbal explanation. I can confidently say that Online Lessons are the same as In-Person Lessons. CURRICULUM I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years. For beginners I like to use Alfred method books for basics concepts and for Classical and Jazz Piano technique I like to use ABRSM books (grade 1-8). If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs. Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible. I like to clearly explain and demonstrate piano technique. In this way, the students are able to apply the information on similar passages from all genres of music. I didn’t know it then, but that single moment would shape the rest of my life. Since that day, I’ve dedicated over two decades to mastering this beautiful, misunderstood instrument. Elvis left a good impression after our first lesson, since I had a sense he loves music and likes teaching. He came across as very professional, flexible and is good with kids as well as adults. Gabriel has an international experience and a wide knowledge of songs etc from all over the world. my son is very young only three years old and he is already exposed to a lot with Gabriel sessions. Gabriel doesn't force but will entice by bringing the joy and beauty of music to a student.
