Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. I would like to share my passion for music with anyone who is interested but also willing to invest the necessary time to learn to play this beautiful instrument. It mainly requires perseverance instead of talent. Of course it all goes a bit faster if one has some talent, but that doesn't mean anything at all. (One is not superior to the other in that respect either! We are all equal!) Experience also shows that adults can become quite good later in life if you REALLY want it and make time for it to practice on a regular basis. -Mindset is key in everything one does- The internet is of course full of very valuable lessons, but personal guidance is also very important! I myself have also learned a lot via the internet, but I have also regularly taken lessons at the music academy in Geel and at the Jazz Studio in Antwerp. Due to the overload of information, it can sometimes be that people can no longer see the forest for the trees... I can certainly be of service to you in the process of your musical development, both on a musical level but also on a psychological/spiritual level. Hello, my name is Toon (36). I have been producing music for the last 15 years. I can help out beginner producers in the proces as well as more advanced producers in Ableton Live. I also have a studio with synthesizers, drummachines, mixing desk, guitars, drums and mics where I can teach you recording and producing in Ableton. I can also help with the technical side like setting up your studio for recording, syncing hardware to computer, software installation etc.. We can start all the way from the beginning or focus on specific topics that you would have questions about. We will learn how to find a work flow that fits you best so you can start creating tracks. As an experienced music theory tutor and professional pianist, I use a curriculum established by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) in the UK to guide students from grades 1-8 (beginning up to early-advanced levels) towards mastery of music theory. My lessons are tailored to each student’s age, experience, and goals. Children (7–12 years old) For younger students, lessons focus on building confidence while making learning fun. We begin with simple vocal warm-ups and ear training to develop pitch and intonation, then move on to singing their favourite songs, encouraging good vocal habits in an enjoyable way. Teenagers (12-17 years old) With teenage students, we start with more structured vocal warm-ups and exercises. As we discover their natural voice, we work on developing a comfortable vocal range, improving technique, and applying these skills through songs that suit their voice and interests. Adults and seniors (18+) For adult students, lessons are usually divided into two parts. We begin with vocal technique, focusing on breathing, diaphragm support, scales, arpeggios, and intonation. We then apply these techniques through singing, helping you develop confidence, control, and healthy vocal habits. I will give you repertoire to study or we will study the pieces you have to prepare. The final goal will be to sing on a musical accompaniment. Every student learns at a different pace. Some may spend more time building a solid technical foundation before moving on to more challenging repertoire, and that’s perfectly fine. My priority is to ensure that every student feels comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their vocal journey. I teach children, teenagers, and adults and seniors from complete beginners to advanced singers. My classical training provides a strong technical foundation that can be applied to any musical style, whether you enjoy pop, musical theatre, jazz, rock, or classical singing.
