My lessons are tailored to each student’s age, experience, and goals. Children (7–12 years old) For younger students, lessons focus on building confidence while making learning fun. We begin with simple vocal warm-ups and ear training to develop pitch and intonation, then move on to singing their favourite songs, encouraging good vocal habits in an enjoyable way. Teenagers (12-17 years old) With teenage students, we start with more structured vocal warm-ups and exercises. As we discover their natural voice, we work on developing a comfortable vocal range, improving technique, and applying these skills through songs that suit their voice and interests. Adults and seniors (18+) For adult students, lessons are usually divided into two parts. We begin with vocal technique, focusing on breathing, diaphragm support, scales, arpeggios, and intonation. We then apply these techniques through singing, helping you develop confidence, control, and healthy vocal habits. I will give you repertoire to study or we will study the pieces you have to prepare. The final goal will be to sing on a musical accompaniment. Every student learns at a different pace. Some may spend more time building a solid technical foundation before moving on to more challenging repertoire, and that’s perfectly fine. My priority is to ensure that every student feels comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their vocal journey. I teach children, teenagers, and adults and seniors from complete beginners to advanced singers. My classical training provides a strong technical foundation that can be applied to any musical style, whether you enjoy pop, musical theatre, jazz, rock, or classical singing. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

My name is Denise and I am a professional singer and vocal coach with a Master’s degree in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). I have over 8 years of teaching experience in Europe and Latin America, working with students from diverse cultural and musical backgrounds in private lessons, artistic projects, and educational contexts. My artistic work includes early music and chamber repertoire, as well as Latin American folk, jazz, and contemporary crossover styles.
