During the 22-23 academic year I gave piano classes to students of all ages at the RedMusik Music School (Igualada, Catalonia). I studied the piano and other instruments for more than 15 years at the UGDA and at the Luxembourg City Conservatory of Music. After many years of music theory and piano I obtained the „Première Mention“ certificate from the Conservatory, with the qualification "Très Bien". A good music lesson should include not only technique and reading sheet music, but also theoretical and harmonic study, improvisation, recreational playing with the instrument, and ear training and rhythm exercises. Benoit is a natural teacher and I think has the rare quality to empathise with his students. So whether he is teaching young children, bright adults or struggling grown ups like myself he can sense your difficulties and intuitively develop your skills. I found his manner easy, engaging and with just the right amount of challenge to make you feel progress and confident. To my surprise we spent the first half hour conversing in French.
