I’m Alfredo, a graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Electric Bass Performance in Jazz and Modern Music from the Conservatori Superior del Liceu, and a Master's degree in Jazz Performance from Codarts University of the Arts. Since then, I’ve been living in Barcelona, working as a live and studio musician, as well as a music teacher.

Learn the basics of softwares such as Apple Logic Pro and Ableton Live, whether for music or creating voiceovers, energizing the sound part of a movie

- Configure your machine, midi interface, keyboard, microphone and software
- Make a quality recording and optimize the takes
- Use synthesizers, Drum Kit, ... and start a production
- Make a mix and a master with the software plugins
- A multitude of tips depending on your field of application

Please note, this course is not intended to improve you in these areas but to familiarize you with your equipment, understand how to start a production and mix / master with your software.

THIS COURSE IS NOT:
- is not a course including pure and hardcore Solfeggio
- is not an exhaustive course on all softwares capabilities

Musical language classes (Harmony, Literacy, Rhythm, Auditory Training) for school reinforcement or self-interest. Classes will focus on each student's preferred areas of musical language, and practical exercises will be continuously performed on the student's instrument.

In my classes I always seek to maintain a balance between the development of basic knowledge, composition techniques and creativity. These are the three fundamental pillars that any person dedicated to composition needs.

Basic knowledge: Many are afraid of learning "too much" theory, because they believe that it can kill creativity. But what I precisely want to teach in my classes is a practical approach, where theoretical knowledge serves to further develop creativity.

Composition techniques: Each class I give small composition tasks, things that can be developed in the time you have available between classes, where we will explore different composition techniques and how they can be applied within the musical language that you want to develop.

Creativity: We work here in two ways, the first is on a project you are working on, for example a piece for your own instrument, a project for a competition or entrance exam, a song, etc. The second way is through improvisation exercises on your instrument. We will do this together, since I play violin and piano. With this we are seeing how to give space to musical intuition, to be able to capture ideas and then concretize them in a composition.

These three elements are present in each class, which is usually divided into 20-minute sections, so a lesson usually lasts 1 hour.

Analysis tools for western art- and popular music. The course is made for you to learn how to analyze any kind of music with the right tools to approach harmonic, rhythmic or melodic relations in music.

Among the main topic we will study basilisks harmonic, rhythmic and melodic analysis, Shenkerean analysis, Schoenberg harmonic conception, Lechenmann ́s perspective of sound, analysis of tonal and non-tonal music.

I hold a Master's degree in Music Performance from the Guildhall School of Music in London and a Bachelor's degree in Historical Instrument Performance (harpsichord, organ, and piano) from the Tartini Conservatory in Trieste. I have had a passion for music since an early age. I have had the opportunity to study in Brussels, Italy, and England, where I have grown personally and professionally, performing in important venues such as the European Parliament and the National Gallery of Art in Bosnia. From the perspective of a concert pianist, I provide a comprehensive variety of adaptable lessons suitable for students at all levels. My teaching covers a broad range of music genres: from classical to jazz, pop, neoclassical, and film music.

With over a decade of experience as an educator, I specialize in preparing students for internationally recognized music examinations such as ABRSM, Trinity College, and the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona. However, i set the personal goal of each student at the center of the lessons. I have also spent four years teaching at a school affiliated with Liceu, fostering musical growth in students.

My aim in the lessons is to cultivate a welcoming atmosphere where students feel motivated to progress and enjoy music.

My name is Gabriel, I am 18 years old and I have been studying piano since I was 4 years old in recognized institutions such as Casa Sors (academy) and Tremolo (pseudo-conservatory) here in Barcelona. I have always played the piano for recreational purposes, but that has not prevented me from reaching a good level. In addition, I have perfected my skills under the guidance of excellent private teachers.

My vocation for teaching is purely for fun, I like to teach how to play the instrument that makes me so happy.
