With good training and several tips, I will give you the keys to performing these moments, sometimes considered "painful" by many. students, with ease! I also offer my help with remedial lessons for children or adults having problems in group music theory lessons at the academy or other private schools. Group lessons offer little opportunity to speak one-on-one with a student to overcome certain difficulties; a regular or occasional individual lesson can remedy these problems. I finished my entire cycle of music theory at the academy, as well as 4 additional years of advanced music theory at the Lemmensinstituut during my musical humanities, I then obtained my "solfege prize" in my first year of Bachelor at the Brussels Conservatory . I have also given a lot of instrumental, theoretical and group lessons, in these, certain aspects of theory and music theory come up regularly with my students, they always find these moments very enriching. I adapt to the student's materials and books if necessary but I can also bring my own exercises and books. I offer these lessons individually or semi-collectively (max. 3 students), you choose the duration that suits you best: 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on your desires and your concentration. I know how arduous the artistic journey can be yet, we take it none the less, because we are all striving for this little moment of magic that arises when everything falls into place. Hernan is not just a good teacher but an exceptional one. I have had only one lesson with him so far, but I got so much from it, that I am looking forward to the next one. He went above and beyond from the beginning. He is very modest and professional in his teaching style, which makes it easy to absorb what he teaches. I would say I am an advanced composition and intermediate orchestration student with decades studying and composing by myself. I had been thinking about taking some advanced online courses available on the internet, but almost all such courses are really work-on-your-own courses. They might have Facebook groups available at best, where you can post questions. But they cannot compare to having a real teacher with the hands-on knowledge guiding you one on one. That one session was packed with so many great insights which I could have never gotten out of any video course or book. Only an insider of orchestration craft and the music composition industry could have such insights. I am looking forward to what I can learn in future lessons. UPDATE AFTER 15 LESSONS: I stopped after 15 lessons because honestly it will take me a long time to process and apply everything Hernan has given me. I will be applying it to my large portfolio of compositions, and I know my compositions are going to be much more mature and well-crafted after I apply what I have learnt to them. I have a completely tranformed attitude and understanding of music composition and orchestration craft. I thought it was simply a matter of learning additional material to get me to the advanced level of the masters. But I have learnt it is a whole world of nuances, subtleties and experience that the masters had a grasp of that allowed them to create at that level. Hernan has given me a good initiation into that world. I have also acquired tools and skills that will allow me to continue the journey on my own. Thank you Hernan.

I've been having singing classes with Kat for almost 6 months. I'm enjoying so much going to class with her once a week ! My goal is to get to know my voice, have fun, understand how it all works ; and Kat is amazing for adapting her exercices to your level ! She is supporting me in my comfort zone and also challenging me enough to evolve a bit more each time we meet. She is gifted with patience and humour, I can tell. You'll always get the meaning of the exercice she's asking you to do, which helps having an overview of what's happening in class. Thanks again Kat for all those breathing breaks in my week ! :)

Catalina is a wonderful teacher! I have just started to play the viola and I am very happy to have found Catalina as my teacher!
