Dominyka - The Hague$41
Trusted teacher: Dominyka is a singer and a vocal coach that is currently living in The Netherlands. She plays piano, violin and writes her own music. Over the past decade she had a chance to graduate from the Royal Conservatory in The Netherlands with Bachelor's and Master's diploma in jazz singing and pedagogical minor studies. She had a chance to be behind the scenes in various TV shows, win several vocal competitions, participate in various music festivals as a singer and she truly developed her ears and her knowledge that she is now also helping others to find their own unique singing voice. She has developed her knowledge about vocal technique, CVT method, stage presence, body language, story telling, composition, writing, improvisation, and so on... with various great teachers from all over the world. As well as, she had an honour to participate in workshops of Snarky Puppy, Dianne Reeves, Dena DeRose, Bob Stoloff, Norma Winstone, Fay Classon, etc. In addition, she took a course of Stevie Mackey, Cheryl Porter and had had lessons with Natalie Weiss. "I feel like voice is a unique thing and music is such a good therapy. I believe everyone can sing, and I believe that everyone could sing greatly if they are patient and put work in it." - Dominyka "I promise that with our singing lessons you will learn more about your own voice and that you will develop your own sound as a singer. We work on warm ups/warm downs, breath support, vowel placement, vocal effects, vocal colour, dynamics, articulation, stage presence, high notes - power singing (belting), and so much more. My goal is to have a good time and spend our lesson's time wisely while we achieve the best results within singing. If there is a need I can also help you to broaden your knowledge about the repertoire that is suiting to your voice colour, recording sessions, live performance situations, "a workout plan for singing", songwriting/composing, music theory, and such." P.S. ALL STYLES ARE WELCOME ! (pop/jazz/rnb/musicals/and so on)

Olivia - Neuchâtel$90
Trusted teacher: Are you curious about singing, but feel like you don’t know where to start? Do you already have some experience of singing and are curious about what your voice could achieve at its full potential? Do you feel shy about your voice and wish you could feel confident enough to sing in front of other people? I am Olivia, a professional opera singer who is passionate about teaching singers a healthy vocal technique in all styles of singing, and helping them to grow in confidence along the way. My teaching room is a safe space where students are free to experiment, make mistakes and discover everything about their voice with my full support! I have been teaching singing privately to pupils of all ages and levels for several years, as well as enjoying a busy performance career. I find that being a regular performer myself is very important when imparting knowledge and advice to my students because I want to teach you more than just the mechanics of singing - I want to guide you towards being an artist and expressing YOUR unique voice and personality. I work on vocal technique, drama and language, and have worked with children, teenagers, and adults - both those hoping to sing professionally and enthusiastic amateurs! Every lesson will include warmups and technical exercises as well as work on repertoire that we will choose together. I can teach in English, French or Italian. As for my performance experience: I began taking singing lessons at 13 years old after joining the school choir in secondary school in London, and adored the process of training my voice. In my teens, I performed in concerts as a soloist and also in a few musical theatre roles, most notably Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. I moved to Switzerland and trained as an opera singer at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève, and did a Specialised Masters (Soloist) at the Hochschule der Künste Bern. I have since gone on to perform with the opera houses of Geneva, Lausanne and Lucerne, the Opera House of Zrenjanin in Serbia, the Jeunesses Musicales Opera Studio (Croatia), London Grimeborn Festival, and have been a featured soloist at such concert venues as the Berlin Philharmonic, Salle Paderewski in Lausanne, the BFM in Geneva, the Cologne Philharmonic, and St Johns Smith Square in London. Most recently you may have seen me as Mrs P. in the Swiss première of Michael Nyman's 'The Man who mistook his Wife for a Hat' in Vevey, or if you've been enjoying the program 'Blob Opera' this year, you might be interested to know that I was one of the opera singers working on this project by recording hours of material for a machine to create an algorithm that recreating an opera singer's voice! Good singing is about solid and healthy vocal technique, a good feeling for music, self-expression and confidence! I would love to work with you to build all of these parts of yourself and to see where your voice takes you. If you have any questions, please do get in touch with me!

As a classically trained opera singer, I offer voice and piano/keyboard instruction to students of all ages and skill levels, and I believe that everyone has the ability to find their inner musician. Through voice or piano instruction, I aim to help each of my students find their unique musical voice while building a foundation of technique, and I encourage my students to embrace mistakes and imperfections in the learning process. I also embrace teaching a variety of genres including pop, jazz, musical theatre, classical, and accompaniment. Most importantly, I hope to inspire a genuine passion for music in each of my voice and piano students. Biography: Born and raised in North Carolina, Kennedy Crawford is a classically trained mezzo soprano. She teaches and performs across a wide range of genres, including classical, musical theatre, gospel, and pop. She found her passion for singing and performing at the age of 5 when she began to sing in church, and her love for the performing arts led her to participate in choir and musical theatre throughout school. She has performed roles such as Annie in Annie Get Your Gun and Cat in the Hat in Seussical. Kennedy began piano lessons at age 15 and classical vocal training at age of 17. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from UNC Chapel Hill, where she dove into classical vocal training and performed operatic roles such as the Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas and Madame de la Haltière in Cendrillon. It was at UNC that Kennedy fell in love with performing opera and found that classical vocal training also improved her musical theatre and pop repertoire. After studying abroad in London and Florence during her time at UNC, Kennedy decided to return to London to pursue a master’s degree. She graduated in 2020 with a Master of Music in Classical Vocal Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance, where she was awarded the Kathleen Roberts Vocal Scholarship. During her time in London, she performed in venues such as The Queen’s House and Blackheath Halls, and sang various operatic roles such as The Third Lady in The Magic Flute, Gertrude in Louise, Ljubica in the contemporary chamber opera Svadba, and as Cenerentola in Cenerentola. She also gained training and experience singing in a wide range of languages, including Italian, French, German, Spanish, and Serbian. In addition to performing, Kennedy has an equal love for teaching and has taught voice and piano for over six years to students across London, North Carolina, and Spain. She currently resides in Madrid, Spain where she works as a music and English teacher.

Stefano
Not just a singing teacher, but by the way also the best vocal coach you can get hold of at this moment and in this area of the Netherlands (so take your chance...;-)). For about 3 years I had a serious problem with my vocal chords (incomplete closure) and a dislocated larynx. I started to be in contact with Stefano by chance asking him to show me some (singing) exercises additionally to my treatment at the ENT-department of Martini Ziekenhuis Groningen as well as an ongoing therapy at a professional trained speech therapist. To cut a long story short: Within a couple of lessons and dedicated exercises he succeeded in re-positioning my larynx and got rid of my incomplete vocal cords closure, meanwhile the medical specialists had decided that the only cure could possibly be an operation... As a ‘side-effect’ I am now able to sing and control my voice like I have never been able before and could never have imagined that this was possible to achieve by just some simple but individually chosen exercises and practice. Grazie!

Dominyka
I am very happy with Dominyka as my voice teacher. With her guidance, I have been able to improve my tone and widen my range much quicker than expected. Leessons are a joy: Dominyka can immediately hear and see what needs focus and explain what I must do to improve. This process is dynamic and fun, and I feel motivated to practice every day because I am inspired by these advancements. She can demonstrate many techniques with her beautiful voice. Most importantly, Dominyka is a trained and experienced teacher, so I know that my progress is healthy and sustainable. Highly recommended!
