The method I use in my singing lessons is divided into two main parts: the technique and the repertoire. I am a songwriter, pop and jazz singer and singing teacher with 20 years of experience in music. I offer singing lessons at all levels. My classes are addressed to the development of body, muscle and vocal awareness which helps to perceive and consider our body as a musical instrument. My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse courses of study followed. The lesson is structured in two parts: the first half devoted to vocal technique, the second half to the musical repertoire and the learning of musical language (jazz or pop or other genre). The vocal technique that I propose is a basic technique for all types of modern singing: from postural education to the care of breathing, from the use of the abdominal muscles, to the emission of air up to the cavities of resonance. We will work on the sound, on the extension of the voice, on the high and low notes, on the passage of register, on the control, on the power and the agility. From a repertoire point of view, the course will be modeled on the needs or interests of the student, with an eye to the right attitude to hold while you sing and you are on a stage. If you already play the guitar or piano, you are one step ahead. Your instrument is like a trampoline that offers you more options to go further and higher. Most 'songs' are born at the craziest moments. A good songwriter his / her antennas are always open :-) and for some it is a continuous activity. During my course I teach you through all sorts of tips and tricks (including: Travel Chord Duo Method - One Four Five and minor input - Key Word Designation and Relative Chord Progressions etc.) how you can achieve strong songs. For me it is a daily activity and I have been writing all my life for others and sometimes for myself. All in all I have sold more than a million copies worldwide as an author / composer / performer. Jolien had numerous masterclasses in LUCA School of Arts where has worked with some prominent artists such as Thomas Blondelle, Ilse Eerens, Daniela Musca, Rosemary Joshua, Audrey Hyland, Mariette Witteveen en Clemens Morgenthaler. As a participant at the masterclasses organized by Triomphe de l’Art, Jolien worked with Nino Machaidze, Angélique Noldus and Anna Samuil. Singing, Recording, & Piano Lessons With A Professional Singer. (Brussels)

I have wanted singing lessons for some time; I had them briefly in my youth and I sing and play guitar for a hobby. Juliett showed me some good tips already in the first lesson and left me some good warming up techniques that I shall practice every day before a our next lesson. Juliett is very friendly and before I knew it she had me singing high notes I did not know I was capable of reaching. The lesson was fun, I enjoyed every second and I’m looking forward to the next. She clearly has a beautiful voice herself and knows the correct techniques using classical methods to get the most out of a voice. We looked at what I wanted to sing, not what she wanted me to sing. Learning should be fun and I’m confident my singing voice will get better over time with these techniques that are used by professional singers worldwide. 100% this is a five star review; I would give a thousand stars, but the limit is five.
