Guitar, piano, composition and music production lessons (all styles!)Translate this text using Google Translate.

-Dutch & videos below- Lessons in 6 languages! With more than 200 students through all my life, more than 500 shows (mostly in Spain but also around Europe and a couple of minitours in America), 15 CDs/EP/singles published (as a frontman, sideman and producer), a bachelor in jazz-modern music guitar (Taller de Músics - Barcelona), half bachelor in piano jazz (Conservatori del Liceu - Barcelona) and a long professional music career behind me playing a ton of different styles (pop, rock, funk, metal, jazz, folk, rumba, reggae...), I've come from Barcelona to Rotterdam to continue my musical journey by doing the latin master at Codarts. I've been working as a music teacher for around 12 years (I'm 29 years old), both doing private lessons and in different music schools, being the most important one the “Escola de Música Creu Alta” in Sabadell (Barcelona), which is one of the biggest music schools in Spain (with more than 900 students), in which I was the Head of the Modern Music Department. I teach guitar (electric and classical), piano (electric and classical), composition, musical production (with Logic Pro), ensemble and modern music theory AT ALL LEVELS, from 100% beginners to people who want to prepare themselves for the music bachelor. I can adapt totally to what the student wants and is looking for, but also, since I have a lot of experience, I have the lessons well planned, I know which songs and exercises work better depending on the aspect that we want to work (tempo, chords, scales, sound, improvisation...) and when I see someone playing I can see in which aspects is the person strong, and in which aspects has the person more problems, so that way you won't waste your time! Also I'm a fun and very empathetic person so we will have fun, which is the most important thing!! I speak 6 languages: Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch and English, so we can do the classes in one of these languages. The lessons can take place in my home (Maashaven metro station) where I have a nice setup, online or in your home. -Dutch- Lessons in 6 languages! Trumpet Lessons (Jazz Trumpet - Trumpet Technique - Music Theory)Translate this text using Google Translate.

My name is David, I'm a trumpet player, composer, and conductor based in Rotterdam. I started to study music when I was 8 years old and I get the Professional Music degree in the specialty of classical trumpet at the Conservatory of Noia (Galicia, Spain) and I've been playing Jazz since I was a teenager. In my country, I have been a student with teachers such as Paco Charlín or Abe Rábade, whom I have considered my mentors for years, but I have also studied and attended numerous masterclasses and workshops with internationally renowned teachers such as Michael Phillip Mossman, Antonio Hart, Darren Barret, Michel Camilo, Logan Richardson, Orrin Evans ...etc. With 18 years working and studying the trumpet, I have been fortunate to play with numerous artists and projects such as Phillip Dizack, Nelson Cascais, Kyle Poole, Dyna Stephens, Walter White, L.A.R. Legido, Jesús Santandreu, Pontejazz Big Band, CSM Big Band and also with different groups and orchestras of dance and Latin music. As a teacher, I have experience teaching in different schools, teaching trumpet lessons, music theory, and choir and ensemble conduction, working with both young children and adults and the elderly, aged between 4 and 85. My classes are individualized and personal, adapting to the needs and concerns of the student to help him evolve and meet his objectives.

Oud, Tanbour, and Music Theory Lessons (cognitive approach in the practice of Persian Music) - A Journey into the Iranian Music Modal SystemTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Music is the best skill and tool for traveling to different times and places! Thus, I would like to invite you on an exquisite adventure. Oud and Tanbour are two prominent instruments from the family of stringed instruments that give you the ability to perform a type of music (Gahan music) that we know as Modal/ Maqam music to Dast-Gahi music from the past centuries until today. Our comprehensive approach to this music system, spanning from Central Asia to the Mediterranean, ensures that you will gain a deep understanding of this rich civilization. Through inspiring and amusing lessons, we will cover ear training, reading music scores, techniques, and music theory and history. And, most importantly, you will have the opportunity to develop your playing skills by making music together. - Oud/Ud To become a skilled oud player, it is essential to learn one of the oud playing styles. These lessons will focus on the Iranian oud playing style, which boasts a vast repertoire from Maqam music to Dast-Gah music. Alongside ear training and reading music scores, we will excitingly elevate your playing technique, enabling you to perform a variety of pieces from the masters of this music style. While the oud has a long and diverse historical past, our approach will be thoroughly contemporary, ensuring that you can connect with this instrument in a modern and engaging way. - Tanbour Playing Tanbour is a journey into the heart of Sufi and mystical thought. This instrument demands a high level of technique, Sonority, and Musicality, allowing you to connect deeply with the music and touch your audience's soul. I will guide you through a contemporary approach to playing Tanbour, including improvisation and composition, through a series of classified pieces and exercises. Get ready to be inspired and to inspire others with the epic power of the Tanbour. - Music Theory Lessons (cognitive approach in the practice of Persian Music) Music appreciation is designed to teach students how to understand and describe the contexts and creative processes involved in music composition, recognize what is being heard and what to listen for, and understand sound and melody. What is the time signature? What instruments are being played? What are you feeling while listening to this piece, and why? The term "appreciation" has roots in philosophy, described in this context as the understanding of the value and merit of different styles of music. Our primary focus for this method is a cognitive approach to the practice of Iranian Cultural Civilisation, known as Persian Music.

Music Production, Music Theory, Composition, Cello, Sound EngineeringTranslate this text using Google Translate.

My name is Davide and my music experience started when I was 10 years old during my middle school in Italy. I started playing cello and I kept on studying classical music for 8 years, performing as a soloist and in many orchestras and ensembles. In the meanwhile, I started being interested in electronic music and composition for soundtracks. When I turned 17 I realized that music would have been my passion and my job. I graduated in “Contemporary Writing and Production” at Pescara Conservatory in Italy. During these studies, I dove deeper into Pop and Experimental Electronic Music, orchestration, and orchestral composition. I also had the opportunity to play in different bands and discover different genres such as Post Rock, Progressive Metal, and Heavy Metal. After my bachelor's degree, I finished my studies following a Master's program at Codarts (Rotterdam) in Creative Production. During those two years, I had the opportunity to collaborate with many people and explore different kinds of music (Turkish, Flamenco, Jazz, etc.). I wrote an Artistic Research about electronic unquantized music by analyzing the sound of producers such as Flume, Burial, and Arca. Now that my studies are finished I feel that I want to spread my knowledge and my passion to many people as possible. My class subjects are: - Music Production (from beginners to expert level, mainly Ableton Live and Pro Tools classes) - Cello Lessons (from beginners to intermediate level) - Music Theory (from beginners to expert level) - Composition and Orchestration (explore the world and joy of composing for an orchestra and how to use your DAW as a real symphonic orchestra). As a Producer, I want to let the student feel completely free to ask me whatever he/she wants. I have had many experiences as a producer and I know how to handle many different genres. My first teaching experience was at 17 years old and from that moment on I did not change my teaching set-up. I want the lesson to be an interactive moment in which the teacher and the student are sharing ideas and opinions. Feel free to apply for the lessons. I look forward to meeting you!

After entering the Conservatory of Tehran she chose Tar. Tanbour was another dimension in her exploration. For her playing, all these instruments happened so naturally. During those years she played all around Iran and other countries such as France, Italy, Austria, Morocco, Sweden, Netherlands. She has been teaching from the age of seventeen. When I teach, apart from teaching the technique of the instrument is so important to me, I also help them to understand and have more awareness about music and be able to perform all their musical ideas in a successful way. Why you should choose me as your Tutor: 1) Having moved around quite a bit, I understand the stress students undergo adapting to new schooling systems. 2) I enjoy working privately with students to build their confidence. 3) I previously was a primary school teacher of all subjects (Grades 1&2) for a top private international school in Lagos Nigeria. 4) I am familiar with international school curriculum ad challenges faced by students when moving to a new country. 5) I have extensive experience with students of all learning levels. I have been privately tutoring. 6) I am not very strict when it comes to extra time. We can extend a bit. +10 mins is no problem. I always think that long sessions with small pauses are better so that you get a grip of the topic. 7) I can teach in group as well as alone, what suits you best. In case you are out for a break and don't want to lag behind in comparison to what is going on in school we, can have some back to back classes in short time, if that suits you. In summary, Teaching has been a long time passion for me. I have about 12 years teaching experience and have held classes with several group of students. After moving to University I was also delivering sessions for my classmates from different parts of the world.
