A qualified language coach with 25 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online. I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam. Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach. In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level). We mainly go for quality and not just running a lesson. I am really involved in the progress of the student. In addition to teaching, I want to do everything to really motivate students to take the next step. That is my strength! You can also choose the online lesson package with Whereby, Teams or Zoom in a comfortable way. Online classes are one-on-one or maximum one-on-two, for better results. My English is fluent, as well as Portuguese and Spanish. I understand the difficulties of overcoming barriers for Latin languages and for expats in general, as I have also been an expat. Online lessons last 75 minutes once a week for 10 weeks to reach a higher level. This is the normal speed. Including exam training (A-2 or Staatsexamen) and exam at the end. Intensive training ? That can also be done in five to ten full days, I am used to giving these very intensive trainings to CEOs or managers who want it faster and more intensive ... all lessons within 3 or 4 weeks. Based on the European system A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2 and C-1 As soon as students want to further improve their knowledge of Dutch, I always advise and coach them to take the State Exam I or II, the only formal Certificate in this country, recognized by employers and universities. I will try to switch to conversation after a few lessons, to put your knowledge into practice as soon as possible. Don't get too caught up in the grammar. Teaching is my ultimate passion and even after 25 years it feels like the first time and students always feel inspired to overcome the obstacles. I also teach you about Dutch social culture, which is intertwined in the course and is strongly related to the language.

Good day, During the lesson I want to focus on the child or young people. Children or young people who are gloomy. Who take the wrong path or don't feel like going to school. I will help children and young people with whom the parents no longer have any advice. I do this by having conversations with the child but also with the parents. I will make a plan based on what the circumstances are. From that you will see how much time I need. But you can also schedule me for individual hours of course. What I want to work on is the awareness of the child. Who is the child, what is school, what is friends, what are limits, what do our parents mean, what will come and what will go. What will benefit and what will not, etc. I first want an introductory meeting with the parents so that the parents first get to know me and I them. Who I am and what I can do. I have a background in healthcare and welfare, but there I learned a fraction of what I can apply to the young people who need help. For beginner piano students, I use the Hal Leonard Student Piano Library and Suzuki Piano School. I can teach fluently in both English and Turkish as well as in some Dutch (improving all the time). I completed my Bachelor of Music in viola performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag with a minor in Music Education. The ukulele lessons are suitable for beginners. It is taught in a casual and relaxed manner, with a lot of personal attention and a good lesson structure. You will soon be able to accompany a song. You learn to play and sing chords, different beats, strumming patterns, simple melodies and some basic knowledge of music theory. We do not work with musical notation, but with tablature. That is a simple alternative. There is also a lot of room to learn what you like yourself. Be sure to bring the songs you want to learn to play. Start with an introductory lesson to see if you like it and to discuss what you want to learn. You can borrow a ukulele if you don't already have one.
